Other information connected with Queen's Berth
Not immediately can you reach districts of Neketaka in any order you want. The first time around, you first have to climb up and start in the bottom districts, to finish in the top ones (e.g. Serpent's Crown). Fortunately, after you have discovered them all, you can travel among them with no limitations.
While in the city, get into the habit of taking a peek onto all the rooftops, as well as high balconies and terraces. In many of these, you can find pets. Even if you do not need the bonus offered by the particular animal, you can sell it to one of the traders (some of them can be worth as much as several thousand gold pieces).
During your first stay in Neketaka, you can ignore the shipyard, because you cannot afford a new ship nor even better equipment for the ship. Remember where it is and return here later into the game, after you earn more gold.
The Scope on sale at Sanza's (M11,11) is a must-have. Buying it requires you to spend a lot of gold, but you will learn to appreciate that, while cruising across the world. It will let you scout wrecked ships to find out whether there are pirates there, or whether the infested ship may be dangerous.
Apart from districts of the main city, you can also visit other areas of Neketaka - to do that, you have to select the option of walking on foot, in the quick view of the city. Keep in mind, that many locations on Neketaka can be too demanding for a party of low experience, due to monsters residing there.
