Disco Elysium: How to get map?

Navigating the world of Disco Elysium can be a bit tricky, especially for new players who may get lost in the maze of narrow passages and alleys. Fortunately, you can purchase a map that will give you an idea of which way to go.

Where to find it?

Head to the bookstore shown in the image above (the building is right next to the Whirling-In-Rags Hotel) and go inside.

Head to the upper floor and interact with the old maps that hang on the wall - we've highlighted it in the picture above. When you ask the owner if you can buy it, she will tell you that only the Martinaise map is available.

The map in Disco Elysium can be obtained in two ways:

1. Buy for 0.90 Reál;
2. Steal by passing the Interfacing skill check.

How to use?

In Disco Elysium, you can use the map at any time, as long as you are not currently engaged in dialogue or other activities. Open the journal and then go to the Map tab, which is right next to the Tasks tab. You'll notice a list of discovered locations on the left. When you select one, it will appear on the map - just like Bird's Nest Roy.
