Eleven years have passed since the release of Euro Truck Simulator 2 and fans are still creating modifications to improve the game. Here is a pack of the most interesting mods that have appeared for ETS2.

Sound Fixes Pack – new sounds
When revamping your ETS2, it's also worth taking care of the sound design. A mod called Improved Environment Sound will help you with this.
This modification makes the sounds in the game closer to what we can hear in reality. From now on, you can hear more realistic sounds of cars, trucks, trains, rain and thunder when traveling.
The author took care of the details, adding new sounds of shutting doors, wind, and tires rolling on asphalt. Changes can be noticed even when refueling, braking and fastening seatbelts. However, for all this to be experienced, it is necessary to set the right priority for Sound Fixes Pack in the mod manager – it should be high on the list.

Winter Mod – winter in ETS2
Frosty Winter Weather Mod, as this modification is called, adds a winter to the game. Not only the roads are covered with ice and snow, but also the trees, fields and, well... basically everything. Of course, the animation of snow falling, which replaces rain, could not go amiss. The most impressive are the effects occurring during an extremely intense blizzard. In order for it to appear, however, an additional Heavy Winter mod is needed.
Contrary to appearances, the Winter Mod introduces much more than just a new season. The author has prepared many textures and high-quality models that replaced the original ones – including trees. In addition, the fact that the days are shorter in winter, the temperatures are lower and there are no harvests were also taken into account.
Installation instructions
Place the downloaded .scs file in My Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2/mod folder.
Realistic Rain – beautiful drops on the window
Realistic Rain
Another creator revamped the rain. Here, we're talking about some really impressive effects, as it actually looks great. It's visible mainly from the inside of the truck, and it seems to me that in this case, the creator really did their best. The droplets hitting the windows of our vehicle and running down them look much better than the original. The outdoors is good too, so those who like to shoot photos will be happy.
