Not everyone likes firearms. In spite of its crucial role in Fallout 4, you can also do well without it. Below, we present the character build of Berserker that is designed for combat with melee weapons. This one is a specific build and it does not work well in any situation, and it requires both higher skill and awareness.

General information

Apart from the obvious skills that increase damage from melee weapons, character development should be based on minor skills. An immensely important thing is to develop your resistance to damage and the ability to heal faster. Also, you should consider using power armors which, in spite of the problems resulting from fusion cores, may be the only way to defeat the more demanding opponents.

Statistics

You receive 21 points to distribute. Your character statistics should be as follows:

  1. Strength: 9
  2. Perception: 1
  3. Endurance: 8
  4. Charisma: 1
  5. Intelligence: 2
  6. Agility: 6
  7. Luck: 1

The most important things for your character are strength and endurance, therefore your goal is to reach tier 10 in both. As you level up, add more and more points.

Recommended perks

While picking perks for your Berserker, focus mainly on trees of strength and endurance. What is important is not only dealing more and more damage, but also to improve your character's overall endurance. You also need to remember about technical perks, and about the skill of crafting and upgrading your gear.
