Each playthrough lasts 60 minutes and you have no clear objectives to follow. The open world is inhabited by 6 independent characters, each one having their own ideas on how to spend the last moments of life. Playing as one of them you get to freely explore the world and interact with other characters to influence their fate and behavior. The game was designed for multiple playthroughs, each time to discover something new and shape the story differently. The game’s world created with CryEngine 3 features high level of interactivity, as almost every object can be manipulated.

An episodic action game developed by Intoxicate. The game takes place in a post-apocalyptic universe known from the cRPG Afterfall and from the survival horror Afterfall Insanity. The player enters a world that survived a great war, where groups of survivors are hiding in small mountain settlements, forced to fight in search for supplies and resources. Each of the three episodes tells a completely different story shown from the perspective of a different character. The gameplay mechanics are similar to the ones used in the later installments of the Fallout series, although the game focuses more on storytelling and action sequences than on RPG features. The game features unusual black and white graphics with contrasting red blood. What’s interesting, the graphics were traditional at first, but the developers decided to change them after the community suggested it, fascinated by one of the trailers of the game.

The game's mechanics, 2D visuals, and the overall dark style were inspired by classic SNES productions, such as Castlevania.

A two-dimensional action adventure game created by Thomas Brush (who worked for Atmos Games), the creator of such free games as Coma! and Skinny!. Pinstripe focuses on two important topics: faith and fatherhood. The player assumes the role of a former pastor, named Teddy, whose daughter was kidnapped by a mysterious creature which calls itself God. The player starts chasing the creature and soon reaches the hell – surprisingly covered with ice. In this unorthodox version of afterlife the player will visit six main locations: forest, dark caves, train, lake, canyon and mountains. While exploring these places one will encounter many interesting characters and learn their stories. During majority of the time the protagonist is accompanied by a talkative dog that helps him in solving riddles and finding clues that reveal the past of the protagonist. Controls in Pinstripe are similar to ones in typical 2D platform games and the game features action sequences. In order to defeat some obstacles Teddy will resort to using a shotgun. Sometimes the weapon is also useful against opponents.

A rhythm game developed for PlayStation 4. DJMAX Respect is a special annual installment of the DJMAX series which was started in 2004 by the Korean company Neowiz. Similarly to Guitar Hero or Rock Band, it uses a vertical board divided into several tracks where colorful bricks appear and move down towards the bottom. Each track is assigned a gamepad button which we have to press when a brick is in the corresponding field. DJMAX Respect features a hundred songs taken from DJMAX Portable and DJMAX Portable 2. The music library can be also expanded by buying additional tunes in the form of DLC. Apart from a standard arcade mode, in which we select songs from the list, DJMAX Respect offers a campaign that consists of a number of missions that add different kinds of limitations and difficulties. Moreover, the title allows us to compete 1 vs 1, both over the Internet and locally on a single console.

The action of Fate/Extella: The Umbral Star takes place after events from Fate/EXTRA. As the previous war comes to an end, the supercomputer Moon Cell Automaton takes over the world and sends the players to a digital kingdom known as SE.RA.PH., where they have to fight one more battle for freedom. Mechanics slightly resemble productions from the Dynasty Warriors series. During gameplay you control one of 16 characters known as Servants – there are both some new and old characters. Each of the aforementioned figures possesses unique, great powers that you can use in combat with tens (or even hundreds) of enemies at the same time. In contrast to the other titles in the franchise, representing either jRPG or visual novel genres, this production features fast and spectacular action in the form of a hack-and-slash.

The game features unusual mechanics that change with the player’s progress — our opponents gradually learn the protagonist’s tricks which forces us to resort to new solutions and strategies. The title is powered by Unreal Engine 4, providing high quality graphics.

A first-person perspective survival horror inspired by such classic titles as Alan Wake, Silent Hill, and Alone in the Dark. Husk is produced by Polish studio UndeadScout, supported by IMGN.PRO – the creators of the successful horror Kholat. The title takes you to a mysterious town of Shivercliff, the destination of the game's main hero – Matthew Palmer. After a train wreck, he tries to find his family, which requires delving into the town’s dark secrets. Shivercliff resembles the other famous digital ghost town - Silent Hill, where nightmare interweaves with reality. During the journey Matthew discovers his own dark side. In Husk you see the action through the eyes of the hero and gameplay concentrates on exploration and puzzle solving, which unravels subsequent plot elements. The game features combat with monstrous enemies, during which the protagonist uses firearms and his own fists. The game is powered by Unreal Engine 4, but the visuals – typically for horror games – are kept in dark colors.

Another installment in the popular series of fighting games developed by Arc System Works. The story was divided into three chapters and it tells about the further adventures of characters known from the previous entries in the series. There are also new characters like Hibiki Kohaku, Naoto Kurogane and Hades Izanami. The gameplay is faithful to the roots of the series – BlazBlue: Central Fiction focuses on duels fought in two-dimensional environment. A special version of Distortion Drive called Exceed Accel is a novelty in the series – it allows the character to deal enormous damage. There is also the Active Flow mechanism that activates when a player plays very aggressively – it provides stronger attacks and faster Burst regeneration. Arcade Mode and Multiplayer are the main modes of the game and they are accompanied by Speedstar Mode (the objective is to defeat a specific number of opponents in limited time) and Alliance Mode (team battles in which the defeated opponents can join player’s team).

An FPP action-adventure game featuring sci-fi elements and focusing on exploration. It was developed by Blue Isle Games - a Canadian team popular for Slender: The Arrival. The player is taken to the titular valley, which is a mysterious place located somewhere in the Rocky Mountains. Assuming the role of an unspecified character, the player traverses a set of diversified locations, trying to discover the secrets hidden in the area. The protagonist makes use of the L.E.A.F. exoskeleton, which belongs to the latest inventions in technology. However, thanks to the possibilities the exoskeleton offers, the exploration is very dynamic, for the protagonist can access locations an ordinary human being would not be able to reach. One of the most important uses of L.E.A.F. is control over life and death - the player can both deprive organisms of their lives or literally breathe life into them. There is a price to be paid for this ability however, because each death of the protagonist causes the entire valley to decay gradually.

An oldschool side-scroll 2D beat 'em up game, created by Empty Clip as extra content for everyone, who purchased Dead Island Definitive Collection including the remastered editions of Dead Island and Dead Island Riptide by Techland. Dead Island Retro Revenge faithfully recreates the classic arcade beat 'em up spirit, popular from the early 90s. During the game, you keep going right, facing waves of enemies, consisting mostly of various kinds of bloodthirsty zombies, just like in the original production. Dead Island Retro Revenge features colorful, although very oldschool visuals, and the game's screen is stylized to resemble a pixelated arcade screen.

The brushed up edition of 1993's Romancing SaGa 2. It is simultaneously the first installment in the series to be released outside of Japan and intended for mobile devices (Android, iOS). The storyline is set in a fantasy world, which has been invaded by the Seven Heroes – a group of legendary champions, who, for reasons unknown, have transformed into demons and threaten human existence. The fight with the invaders is taken up by the royal dynasty, the members of which are controlled by the player. As the ruler he or she has to tend to the nation’s growth, acquire new resources, cleanse and take control of dungeons and also appoint a heir. With each generation the king becomes considerably wiser and stronger, which at some point will allow him to challenge the Seven. In Romancing SaGa 2 we will also come across numerous heroes, who will join the player’s team and aid him in his fight against the monsters. The battles are carried out in a turn-based fashion, typical for Japanese RPGs. Furthermore, the visual style of the production draws a lot of inspiration from older types of role-playing games by way of its 2D graphics and distinctive soundtrack.

A tech-noir tactical action game with a spy thriller setting. All Walls Must Fall is set in 2089, in an alternative reality in which the Berlin Wall never fell and the Cold War still lasts. To make things worse, the rivalry between the East and the West has resulted in a nuclear disaster. You play as a group of intelligence agents, who travel back in time and get one night to prevent the catastrophe from happening. The decisions you make during the game can have a great effect on the world's future. The gameplay in All Walls Must Fall is shown in an isometric view. The game takes place in procedurally generated locations — mostly in Berlin nightclubs, which allows you to hide in the crowd — and your main tasks are exploration and gathering important information from NPCs. The game also features a tactical combat mode with an active pause option. An important element of the game is turning back time, which helps you to avoid the consequences of your oversights. The visuals have been inspired by communist propaganda posters.

The plot of the game focuses on an Asian princess whose tears caused the world around her to lose its colors and start dying. The player assumes the role of a small lantern and is tasked with returning the life and colors to the realm by making everyone remember about the power of love. There are four areas to visit, each with different architecture and environment. The unusual protagonist is transported there by the wind. The lantern is able to turn other lanterns on, bring petrified animals back to life and activate various devices encountered on the way. The title features high quality three-dimensional graphics inspired by oriental aesthetics. The title supports virtual reality goggles, but the device isn’t mandatory for the game to work.

The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky the 3rd takes place half a year after the events from the previous installment. The player starts his adventure aboard an aircraft flying under the banner of the Empire of Erebor. Kevin Graham – the main protagonist of this game – is tasked with retrieving a mysterious artifact lying on the bottom of the Valeria Lake located in the realm of Liverl. The gameplay builds on exploration, searching for useful items, and completing diverse tasks including both main missions and side quests. The game also features fighting the encountered foes – battles take place on a tactical grid, and the key to success lies in the proper switching between the characters’ abilities and coming up with the optimal strategy. The third installment introduces a number of new opponents, who exhibit certain unique abilities. The game also develops the foregoing mechanics with the turn bonuses. The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky the 3rd features colorful visuals that resemble the style of Japanese animation.

The protagonist is called Zoran and he is a veteran of the Balkan Wars, who escapes from war atrocities to New York. To serve his penance, he becomes a local priest. Unfortunately, once it turns out that ruthless mobsters have become a threat to the people he serves, Zoran decides to bring justice the hard way. The action is viewed from above and the game is very dynamic. Also, it does not tolerate the player's mistakes - one hit kills the protagonist. Consequently, the player has to plan before they act; using the protagonist's special ability (the so-called Divine Focus) is also crucial for success. This ability makes the time pass only when the protagonist is in motion. Once depleted, it can be recharged by killing enemies. Sword and pistol are the protagonist's basic weapons, but more of them are waiting for the player to discover. Apart from the single-player story campaign, the game offers separate levels for the co-op mode. Among other top-down view games, God's Trigger stands out with its three-dimensional, cel-shaded graphics.

A post-apocalyptic RPG with roguelike elements, created by Russian studio Mandragora. The game starts off shortly after the World War III wiped out almost the entire human race. You play as a survivor residing on the top, 100th floor of a luxury hotel. Your task is to fight your way downs through hordes of mutants. The game features several different characters to choose from. The inside of the hotel is generated randomly. The gameplay combines elements of survival with action sequences, in which you fight against mutants. As you play, you have to constantly keep an eye out for water and food, as well as upgrades for your ‘base’ – the aforementioned top floor apartment. In addition, the game features a crafting system, letting you construct new items and upgrade your gear.

A first-person science-fiction adventure game focusing on the relations between a human being and a machine. Due to an unspecified course of events, the protagonist finds himself alone aboard the Nautilus - an abandoned space vessel which is heading in unknown direction. With the help of the on-board Artificial Intelligence, the protagonist has to survive and find out what really happened here. However, cooperation with the AI is bound to cause some problematic situations. The gameplay as such is relatively unusual here, because the player's main activity is to ask questions and input various commands for the AI to execute. Each time the player wants to interact with an object, they are required to give an adequate command to the on-board computer. When the AI refuses to act in accordance with the player's demands, one has to try something more persuasive or try some other command.

The fourth full-fledged installment in the spectacular racing series Flatout started in 2004 by Finnish studio Bugbear Entertainment. After the cold reception of the third installment in the series, the task of creating the new entry was given to Kylotonn studio, the creators of the fifth installment of the popular rally series WRC. The game is strongly based on notes and suggestions of the community and promptly returns to the roots of the series. In the game the player traditionally participates in brutal races in which one can win not only by driving fast, but by eliminating the vehicles of the opponents as well. FlatOut 4: Total Insanity has the option to destroy the environmental objects, create astonishing crashes and sports a realistic destruction system – all the features that were the iconic traits of the series since it was created.

Unlike the first DLC, which was a commercial remake of a fan-made modification to the original Age of Empires II, The African Kingdoms was built from ground up entirely by the developers of the original game, Hidden Path Entertainment. The expansion takes us once more to the Middle Ages, however, this time we travel to a completely different region of the world – the African continent. There, you take command of such nations as the Berbers, Malians, and Ethiopians, as well as the Portuguese. Each nation has its unique architecture, technology, and units (e.g. camel archers). In terms of gameplay mechanics, the DLC introduces an innovation - varied surfaces. Your choice to construct buildings on rock, sand, or other terrain will now affect the construction's stability.

A science fiction first-person shooter by BadFly Interactive, inspired by such franchises as Dead Space and Mass Effect. The action takes place in 2045 aboard ESS Meridian, a space freighter. In the game, we assume the role of a Unit 13 spec ops operator who, after waking up from cryogenic sleep, discovers that most of the crew is dead and the rest turned into bloodthirsty zombies. Wading through subsequent decks of the vessel, the protagonist has to uncover the mystery behind those uncanny events. Gameplay-wise, Dead Effect emphasizes action and combat. Occasionally, we also look for collectibles in the form of tablets and special holograms as well as ammunition and cash, which allows us to enhance our weapons arsenal. Apart from the story campaign, the game features a survival mode where we fight for our life on special arenas.

A new installment of the cycling manager series developed by Cyanide studios, also known as Tour de France on the console market. The game enables us to take control of one of ninety cycling teams and lead them throughout the 2015 season. During its course, we take part in over 200 races, consisting of 550 stages, with the final objective to win the prestigious Tour de France. Our duties include scouting, finding sponsors, negotiating contracts, taking care of the team’s budget, training, as well as leading the riders themselves during races, where every decision can influence their placement on the finish line.

The fourth and final installment of the independent horror game series by Scott Cawthon. In Five Nights at Freddy’s 4, we have to face the murderous animatronic toys yet again. Compared to its predecessors, the title's gameplay formula has been changed. While plying, we do not assume the role of a security guard anymore, but a small child that has to survive the five eponymous nights in his own home which is overrun by bloodthirsty toys. We cannot track their movements by a monitoring system and have to check out each of the five available locations (two parts of a kid's bedroom, cabinet, and left and right hall) on our own. For the first time in history of the series, we can run, peek through the door, look into the cabinet, and turn around. Our only weapon is the flashlight that lets us scare the animatronics away.
