EverQuest is set in a fantasy world, which we explore as a player-created character. You can choose from a range of races and character classes, which you can combine to suit your preferences. The inspiration for Daybreak Game Company's production was Ultima Online — and although the developers used some tried and tested features in the 3D environment, they also implemented some new ideas. The gameplay consists mostly of exploring of open locations, fighting the encountered enemies, as well as developing the protagonist by gaining new abilities and equipment. A racing simulator made by the Codemasters company, a developer best known for the Dizzy platformer series and a purely arcade racing game franchise titled Micro Machines. The said event features various competitions for vehicles of the Touring Cars class. The races take place on several elaborately recreated British tracks, e.g. Donington, Silverstone or Brands Hatch. There are 16 world class drivers taking part in the rivalry alongside numerous licensed machines from renowned manufacturers, such as Peugeot, Renault, Audi, Volvo, Opel, Ford, Honda and Nissan. The production is distinguished by its extremely realistic destruction and collision model; the developers have also faithfully recreated the driving physics, making them dependent on factors such as surface type. We have three different game modes at our disposal: Championship mode, Single Race and Time Trial. Furthermore, an option for multiplayer competitions for up to 8 players on LAN or 4 players on Split Screen is also available.

A continuation of the popular strategy game, released by Creative Assembly in 2000. Medieval: Total War brings us from the Far East to a more familiar setting of medieval Europe, where we need to take control of one of the twelve most powerful countries of that time. Similarly to its predecessor, the game connects military elements with trade, diplomacy and resource management. The kingdom management part plays out in a turn-based system, in which we expand our empire, building castles, creating alliances, setting trade routes, discovering new technologies, and developing our military. The battles take place in real time, in a fully 3D environment, with up to 10 thousand troops taking part in the encounters. The campaigns available in the game are based on historical events, and separated into three parts, taking place in early, high, and late Middle Ages.

A two-dimensional platform game with traits of an adventure game and a stealth game. The title, developed by Oddworld Inhabitants, takes place in an unknown planet inhabited by the race of Mudokons. The main protagonist of the game, Abe, is a Mudokon as well. The race is being abused by evil Glukkons, who force them to slave labor in a mine. When the protagonist discovers the new plans of the “master race” (they want to process Mudokons into tasty food), he decides to escape and save his friends from the danger. In Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee the player is jumping between platforms, sneaking up behind the backs of their opponents and solving various environmental riddles. During the game the protagonist can also give orders to other Mudokons. Since the protagonist has no health bar or energy, a single enemy hit is enough to kill him – in that case Abe respawns at the beginning of the level. The title lacks any interface – all information is presented in the level or on special tutorial screens.

A fantasy isometric role-playing game with hack-and-slash elements, developed by Westwood Studios, the creators of such titles as Eye of the Beholder, Lands of Lore or Command & Conquer. The game take place on the planet Nox, once the arena of the great war between men and necromancers. Many years thereafter, a surviving necromancer named Hecubah decides to take revenge on men, using a magic wand filled with the souls of their allies. The unaware owner of the wand is an ordinary Earthling Jack Mower, who finds himself transported to the land of Nox via TV screen and takes part in a series of unusual events. The gameplay focuses mostly on exploration and combat, and depending on your chosen character class you can fight hand-to-hand, use ranged magical attacks or summon powerful creatures, who'll do the fighting for you. An interesting element of the gameplay is the option of setting sophisticated traps your enemies can then walk into.
