Action, Hack'and'slash, Ninja, Singleplayer, TPP, Xbox Exclusive.
A remake of Ninja Gaiden — a popular arcade action game, very successful on arcade machines as well as on most major gaming platforms during the late 80s and early 90s — developed with Xbox in mind. In the game, we assume the role of the eponymous warrior named Ryu who seeks revenge on the mysterious organization called Vigoor Empire and its leader, the man responsible for murdering the protagonist’s clan and stealing the magical sword Ryuken. Fighting subsequent hordes of enemies is, as you could expect, the key gameplay element, although the Xbox version, in contrast to the original, offers fully 3D graphics with dynamic camera. The game also comes with a larger arsenal of melee weapons as well as a simple progression system, which allows us to learn new techniques and upgrade our armaments.

RPG, Historical, Roguelike, Singleplayer, Survival, Turn-based.
An old-school roguelike RPG with survival elements, developed by Enormous Elk – a studio composed of just two people. Before the official release, the game has been systematically developed and updated for a long period of 26 years. The action of UnReal World takes place during the Iron Age in a northern region of Europe that corresponds to the territory of modern Finland. There is no plot – it is a typical roguelike life simulator, offering freedom in shaping the fate of our hero, who can take up many professions or combine their selected elements. While traveling through the procedurally generated lands, one of the game’s key aspects becomes survival and the necessity to satisfy the character's basic needs, like water, food, clothing, or shelter. The game is characterized by high levels of realism, a turn-based combat system, tactical complexity, and extensive character progression system that offers hundreds of various abilities.

Action, Indie Games, 60s and 70s, Action Adventure, Religious, Singleplayer, Stealth, Isometric View.
A sandbox action-adventure game and the debut project from the independent team at Paranoid Productions. The Church in the Darkness takes us back to the late 70s, and the story focuses on a pair of characters – followers of a radical cult, who run away to South America and try to create a utopia in the jungle. We play as a policeman named Vic whose nephew joins the mysterious church, so he travels to the aforementioned place to check if the boy is alright. The game is characterized by its high degree of randomness and freedom of action. A procedural generation system manages not only the shape of the locations and the placement of NPC, but also the dogmas of the titular Church, which affect the game’s plot. There are also difficult decisions to make, each with irreversible consequences.

A free-to-play spin-off installment to the bestselling racing game series known from the subsequent generations of the Xbox console. It was developed by Turn 10 Studios with PC users in mind. The gameplay of Forza Motorsport 6: Apex does not differ significantly from other full-fledged installments in the series and emphasizes simulation aspects (while still offering a number of gameplay facilities). Compared to the full-price console version, the title is significantly poorer content-wise. The game features only slightly more than 60 cars (compared to the 450 models available in the original) and 20 tracks in six locations based on actual racing circuits. The basic game mode, Showcase Tour, allows us to take part in 12 automobile events commented on by the former hosts of the highly-popular Top Gear television series.

Strategy, 2D, Economic, Exploration Games, RPG Elements, Singleplayer, Ancient History.
An original mix of video game genres featuring elements of strategy, RPG, roguelike, economy, and exploration. The title was created by It Matters Games, a producer of mobile and browser games. Caravan takes you to the Arabian Peninsula in the beginning of the Common Era. The land was recreated with attention to historical detail, which however, did not stop the developer from implementing fantasy elements rooting back to the Middle-Eastern mythology. In the game you assume the role of a head of a prominent merchant family, who currently leads a caravan. Using the in-game map you select your travel destination and pick companions as well as stock up on water or merchandise. As you journey across the land you encounter random events – at those moments the perspective switches to a 2D view of the caravan. The same happens in towns, which you visit in order to trade and develop your character’s skills. Combat and bargaining take on the form of an original mini-game, which is a combination of rock-paper-scissors and a dice game.

RPG, Fantasy, Mario, Singleplayer, Nintendo Exclusive.
Another installment in a series of popular RPGs brought by Nintendo and created specifically for Wii U. The player is taken to the Prism island - a place which was once very beautiful but is now losing its colors for unknown reasons. Mario's task is to discover the source of this terrible situation and save the island. The game offers interesting mechanics that distinguish this title from other role-playing games. The player is required to color blank spots in the game world, but to do so, Mario needs to equip a special hammer. Hitting things with it results in colors being restored in the area, characters getting revived and prisoners released. For doing all of this, the player is given golden coins. Interestingly, the player is engaged in coloring even in combat, but instead of coloring parts of the game world, special cards become their targets, representing different kinds of attacks. In terms of visuals, the game combines three-dimensional environments with flat, "paper" characters. Paper Mario: Color Splash is a very colorful game as its very title suggests, resembling in this aspect other games featuring the famous plumber.

A tactical combat simulation set during WWII. The game was developed by Graviteam, which has already produced several similar productions. This time the player leads the German or the Russian army in the battles taking place near the eponymous Mius river during 1943. The game offers two large-scale military operations, the course of which is influenced by the decisions made by the player and the game's advanced AI. Gameplay of Graviteam Tactics Mius-Front consists of two modes - in the turn-based mode you can relocate your army, take care of supplies, and replace lost units; in the tactical, real-time mode you lead the army during battles. The creators ensured that the game includes truthful recreation of authentic terrain and realistic performance of tanks and other vehicles. The creators also developed an advanced ballistic system that recognizes such factors as wind direction and temperature.

A two-dimensional action adventure game created by Thomas Brush (who worked for Atmos Games), the creator of such free games as Coma! and Skinny!. Pinstripe focuses on two important topics: faith and fatherhood. The player assumes the role of a former pastor, named Teddy, whose daughter was kidnapped by a mysterious creature which calls itself God. The player starts chasing the creature and soon reaches the hell – surprisingly covered with ice. In this unorthodox version of afterlife the player will visit six main locations: forest, dark caves, train, lake, canyon and mountains. While exploring these places one will encounter many interesting characters and learn their stories. During majority of the time the protagonist is accompanied by a talkative dog that helps him in solving riddles and finding clues that reveal the past of the protagonist. Controls in Pinstripe are similar to ones in typical 2D platform games and the game features action sequences. In order to defeat some obstacles Teddy will resort to using a shotgun. Sometimes the weapon is also useful against opponents.

An exceptional action game that combines elements of classic fighting and rhythm games. As the title suggests, this is an enhanced version of the game originally released in 2012. Both installments have been developed by the Italian studio Brucefilm that has previously worked on music videos and commercials. Stay Dead Evolution stands out from other fighting games mainly because of the fact that the sequences one gets to see on their screen have been shot with real actors. These sequences can be joined and played as fights, in which the character controlled by the player fights five opponents and can deliver over a hundred strikes and different attacks. Gameplay comes down to pressing the right buttons at the precise time. It is crucial for a player to maintain the rhythm and perfect timing. The Evolution edition features multiple changes and improvements in terms of gameplay mechanics, controls, leeway, and improved difficulty balance.

Land of Britain is an MMORPG set in a magical land inspired by the medieval Britain and legends of that period. The island is divided into three big kingdoms: Avalon based on Arthurian legends, Norse-inspired Norsengard, and Talmahria inspired by the oldest Celtic tales. Each kingdom has its own unique races and classes. All of them are at war with each other, but the incoming forces of evil will not bother themselves with such petty feuds between mortals. Land of Britain gives the players a lot of freedom in choosing their activities. The game offers your typical PvE missions with complex story lines and A.I. controlled enemies. We can also take part in PvP battles against other players or wars between kingdoms if we want to. We begin our adventure with choosing one of the two character archetypes, adventurer or craftsman. This decision influences the possible progression paths for our hero. Game’s world is a dynamic environment where changes are constant. Some of them are caused by the game itself, some by the players.

The story of Lost in Harmony: Kaito’s Adventure is set in an unknown futuristic world, across which the protagonist – young boy named Kaito – rides on his skateboard, carrying his friend, Aya, on his back. Each chapter represents one of the hero's phobias, such as fear of water, heights, or crowds. Kaito’s skateboard moves automatically, and the player has to avoid various obstacles by turning right, left, or jumping in right moments. However, all of this is directly connected to the background music, which not only affects the gameplay, but is also used for storytelling and expressing character’s emotions.

The third and last DLC expansion for Dragon Age: Inquisition, a game developed by BioWare. The expansion focuses on adding new adventures to the game, without changing the mechanics of the title. The story of the game is a sort of epilogue to the base campaign and it starts two years after the events shown in the basic game. It shows the changes that occurred in the meantime in Inquisition and it tries to answer the question about what could have happened with the organization after it had fulfilled its role. During the new campaign player will visit well-known places and meet well-known characters. In the Trespasser DLC one will also face a completely new threat caused by the Qunari race. Observant players will notice many hints related to the future of Thedas and what might happen in the planned, fourth installment of the series.

Simulation, Economic, Machines and Equipment, Farm, Singleplayer.
Another installment in the popular farming simulator series, also known as Agrar Simulator. The general gameplay mechanics remain the same, while the game is still divided into simulation and economic parts. In the former, we personally engage in various farming activities, such as field reclamation, animal breeding, crop production, planting trees, and harvesting, using a wide variety of agricultural machines. The money we earn is invested into development of our farm, namely: expanding its infrastructure, hiring employees, and purchasing additional equipment. The realistically modeled calendar of farming work as well as occasionally occurring random problems and obstacles play important roles in the game. In addition, the visuals were enhanced, especially since Professional Farmer 2016 is the first installment of the series to be released on consoles.

A commemorative edition of a popular rugby series, created by through a joint effort of Bigben Interactive and HB Studios for the eight annual World Rugby Championships. When it comes to mechanics, the game is practically the same as Rugby 15, albeit the creators introduced a significant number of fixes and modifications, such as improved player AI, reworked judges, and small changes in the controls department. As can easily be imagined, the main highlight of Rugby World Cup 15 is the titular world championship, allowing us to play as one of the twenty leading rugby teams, leading them through eliminations, the main competition, and the grand finale. Similarly to the previous installments, the game includes faithfully recreated stadiums, and licensed teams with real player names, outfits, and national anthems.

A huge (approximately up to for 200 hours of gameplay) DLC expansion for The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth from Nicalis studio. It isn’t standalone title, requiring the base game to play. Afterbirth introduces many novelties, including a new final area with a unique boss and ending. However, it doesn’t change the game mechanics, as we once again play a roguelike arcade title, exploring randomly generated locations, discovering secrets and fighting enemies. The gameplay is diversified with additional content in the form of new character, Lilith, new monsters and bosses, as well as previously unavailable items, challenges and locations. What's more, the DLC also modified the interface and expanded the soundtrack. Lastly, players received a new game mode called Greed Mode, in which they take great risks to obtain unique rewards.

Adventure, Casual, Detective, Multiplayer, TV Series, Singleplayer, Hidden Objects.
A relaxing adventure game for mobile devices, created by Activision, based on a license of the popular British TV series Downton Abbey. The game takes place in the titular mansion, owned by an ancient and rich family. One day, the nobility, as well as the servants visit a nearby village to take part in a local ceremony. Somebody has robbed the mansion during their absence, with all the rooms missing various valuables. The players assume the role of a private detective hired by the family, whose task is to find the thief and find out his motives. Downton Abbey: Mysteries of the Manor is a classic example of a casual HOPA game. During the game, we explore the mansion, talk with the inhabitants, amass clues and evidence, solve various logical puzzles and take care of new challenges, which mainly focus around the search for missing items.
