An exploration-focused adventure game with FPP view, developed by The Station studio – an experienced team consisting of people who worked on titles like Crash Bandicoot, League of Legends, Destiny and the Prototype series. Its story has been set in a distant future and focuses on the activities of Axiom corporation, which finds the first alien civilization after years of searching. However, the station that was sent to establish contact with the Aliens has malfunctioned, and a prospector (the player character) is sent to investigate the case. What he will discover will change his view on surveillance, imperialism and morality. Gameplay in The Station is based on exploration and plot, with classic narration being limited to minimum. This means that the players discover the plot not through dialogues or cutscenes, but mostly through their environments, and they must bring all pieces of a puzzle together.

Victor Vran: Overkill Edition is the expanded edition of the 2015 action RPG, Victor Vran. Overkill Edition includes two expansions, Fractured Worlds and Motorhead: Through the Ages, that were released for the original game. Players once again will play as Victor Vran, the monster hunter. Expansions included in this edition offer completely new areas, enemies, and abilities. The first one takes place in a different dimension and offers the players dungeons that change on a daily basis, among other things. The second expansion was created in cooperation with the heavy metal band Motorhead and faces the players with three demons that need to killed. Gameplay mechanics remain the same. The game is still an action RPG presented from an isometric view. Victor Vran: Overkill Edition can be bought on Steam and physically in stores.

A classic platform game by indie studio Slipgate. The game was funded via a Kickstarter campaign, and the studio's cooperation with THQ Nordic allowed for releasing it also for consoles. You play as the eponymous twelve-years-old boy, who finds himself in an alternative reality and becomes the protagonist of his own game. He's accompanied by an old living console called Dusty. The game utilizes a side view perspective and the gameplay focuses on traversing seven varied worlds and fighting encountered enemies. During combat you use a wide range of firearms. IN addition, you can visit the Pixelverse, which features different mechanics. The game features pleasant cartoonish visuals and an electronic soundtrack composed by Andrew Hulshult.

A simulation game developed by German company Aerosoft. In Emergency Call 112 - The Fire Fighting Simulation the player assumes the role of a firefighter posted to a fictional city, which is open for exploration. As you play, you take part in a various rescue operations – starting with road accidents, through cleaning toxic spills, to putting down fires of houses and industrial compounds. Each crisis is generated procedurally and may take place both outside and inside buildings. In your work you make use of a variety of tools (such as hoses, mobile lifts and ladders), but the success depends not only on the proper use of equipment at hand, but also on the coordination of your entire team. The characteristic feature of Emergency Call 112 - The Fire Fighting Simulation is its far-reaching realism – the game developers consulted firefighters from Mülheim, Germany, which helped them faithfully recreate the equipment and vehicles (spearheaded by LF24) used by them. As for graphics, it may not be the game’s biggest strength, but the players may like the design of firefighters’ trucks and the realistic way in which the fire spreads.

After a player creates their character, they travel to a world inspired by the Middle Ages, covering the area of over 400 square kilometers and featuring forests, diversified game, and precious resource deposits. The player can influence the world in any way by piling up hills, digging tunnels, as well as establish villages, towns, and even strongholds. The extensive crafting system allows the player to achieve mastery in a particular trade and survive in this not very hospitable environment. Up to 10 thousand players can play simultaneously and establish guilds, form alliances, fight numerous battles, and besiege other players’ settlements.

An action game inspired by cult classic Grand Theft Auto 2. Geneshift is set in a futuristic world filled with mutants that the protagonist of the game must face. We can use the arsenal of over 20 types of weaponry. Like in GTA 2, we observe the world from a top-down view and not only we shoot, but also drive various vehicles. The protagonist can also use supernatural abilities due to his mutation, developed through a complex skill tree. This unlocks e.g. the ability to create energy shields, turn invisible, control ricochet of bullets and create poison clouds. Geneshift offers story campaign that can be completed alone or in cooperation with three other players. There are also online PvP skirmishes, a major focus of the game, in which two teams (consisting of sixteen players each) compete in modes like Capture the Flag, car racing, and Zombie Survival.

We play as an FBI agent who has to take part in various tests checking his combat abilities with firearms and cold steel weapons. The game offers five types of missions: Quick Draw, where we have to shoot as fast as possible; Knife Throw, where we throw knifes; Sharpshooter and Rapid Fire, where we eliminate our targets with firearms; and Combat, where we fight criminals and try to avoid being shot. Our score is marked and displayed on online rankings. The game uses Unreal Engine 4, making its visuals simply astonishing, and an advanced physics engine that perfectly simulates the behavior of 3D objects.

Another spin-off in the popular series of dungeon crawlers, Etrian Odyssey, developed by Spike Chunsoft. The player assumes the role of an adventurer, who helps an unfamiliar woman in reaching the roots of the Yggdrasil tree, which is told to hide a gate to the world of gods. The events in Etrian Mystery Dungeon 2 are presented from an isometric perspective, and a significant portion of gameplay is about exploration of randomly generated dungeons as well as fighting turn-based battles. Interestingly, both heroes and their adversaries perform actions at the same time – therefore, when you move from one field to another, the enemy may be performing the same action. You take under your command a team of four adventurers, whom you can hire and replace in a town, which serves the role of your base of operation. In the course of the adventure the heroes gain experience and learn new skills as well as class-based special abilities. It is also noteworthy that upon dying the characters go back to the town, however, they also lose the entire equipment and gold they carried. Etrian Mystery Dungeon 2’s characteristic feature is its colorful, eye-pleasing graphics.

A funny social game developed by the independent Polish studio Vile Monarch. The title is a spin-off of the well received logic game Oh…Sir!! The Insult Simulator. The title expands on the ideas of its predecessor and the player participates in unusual... insult duels. The player must select invectives he uses against his opponents from a long list and combine them into spectacular combinations. After filling a special bar the player unlocks a critical insult that can eliminate the opponent. Oh…Sir! The Hollywood Roast features a user-friendly character creator in which the player can create his own characters and later equip them with new clothes and accessories. The title also offers a large list of pre-defined characters among which one can for example find caricatures of popular movie characters. The game can be played against artificial intelligence or with other players.

Running with Rifles: Pacific is an expansion pack for a tactical action game released for PC in 2015, entitled Running with Rifles. The add-on takes the player to one of the fronts of the World War II, namely the Pacific War. The game’s developer took care to faithfully recreate both actual armament and gear used in the period as well as uniforms worn by soldiers of the U.S. Army and Japan at that time. Besides, players are thrown into battlefields which are based on islands where actual military operations were taking place in 1940s. Not only their names match, but also do details and the topography of the terrain. Although the original gameplay mechanics did not change – Running with Rifles: Pacific is still a top-down shooter with elements of tactics, such as commanding a squad or taking cover – the new setting provides quite a different experience.

NBA Playgrounds is an arcade sports game inspired by the NBA Street game series. It was developed by Saber Interactive, a studio mostly known for their futuristic first-person shooters like TimeShift and Inversion. In NBA Playgrounds, players take part in basketball matches. Even though the gameplay is based on classic rules, it has not much to do with reality. The players can jump incredibly high and do various tricks during those jumps. Nonetheless, mastering all of the game's twists, turns and moves takes some time. It has to be mentioned that the developers managed to acquire the official NBA license. Thanks to that, we can play as both current and old NBA stars. As we win, the players get new abilities, which allows them to do more complicated sport stuns. NBA Playgrounds can be played both in single player and multiplayer modes. The game has characteristic cartoonish visuals. Characters available in the game are caricatures of sorts of the real NBA players, and various lighting effects are present during our matches. All of this goes well with NBA Playground's gameplay.

The combat system was inspired by the popular Super Smash Bros series, while also taking into account fighting game novices. Blade Strangers features several gameplay modes. Apart from the story campaign, consisting of a series of arcade duels, there is also a training mode, in which you can test the attacks of every character, and online battles. You can also try to complete certain tasks, such as e.g. defeating your enemy as quick as possible with a special attack. The arenas on which you fight are 3D, while the character models are 2D sprites.

Set in the Forced universe, a simplified real-time strategy with card game elements. The title by Danish BetaDwarf Entertainment features quick multiplayer battles, in which you battle the enemy with loads of units and try to defeat their main character. By drawing cards from a customized deck, you place units – mobile ones, along with defensive and production structures - on a small battlefield and observe the outcome. In contrast to other real-time strategies, you do not give commands. Once deployed somewhere on the map, the units fight on their own. Your army, which is the deck of cards, can be customized between clashes. The choice concerning the Minion Master – the main hero whose death in combat means defeat – is up to the player. During combat, Minion Master stands on a pedestal at the edge of the map and shoots enemy units charging at them. With the progress, a Minion Master gathers experience points that can unlock their special traits and abilities. Apart from regular online battles, the title offers Draft Mode in which you can use decks composed of random cards, and Solo Challenges – a single-player game mode.

At the beginning, the player creates their character, which mainly involves choosing special abilities for them; also, the player is capable of configuring the weapon the protagonist uses. During the adventure, the player traverses the streets of Edenbyrg and completes various assignments, which involves killing hordes of enemies. Alongside progression, the player gains access to more and more weapons, modifications and gadgets. One can play Jydge solo or in the local co-op mode.

By using the action cards displayed on the smartphone and by playing according to the game’s instructions, the players are influencing the whole plot by deciding the fate of the protagonists and the victims of the killer. The choices of the group determine who will die and who will survive. The title features a large variety of different endings.

The remastered edition of LocoRoco2, a popular arcade game originally released on PlayStation Portable. Like the remastered edition of the first installment, LocoRoco 2 Remastered features, above all, refreshed visuals and controls system adapted to the gyroscopic features of DualShock 4 controller. In LocoRoco 2 Remastered, the player assumes the role of a merry yellow ball, which travels through the colorful locations and feeds on fruit to increase its size. To push the ball forward, a player has to tilt the controller in order to mimic the gravity. At any given time, the main protagonist can be split into smaller balls so as to squeeze through some tight spots. Using this technique, and combining it with platform jumping, players have to traverse diverse locations, discover secret levels and avoid the obstacles. LocoRoco 2 Remastered features a new resolution adjusted to TV screens, while keeping the visuals intact – the game still features simple, yet very colorful 2D graphics.

Each building we build there gives us a unique bonus.

We play as a warrior who, as a result of the machinations of a mysterious organization, was turned into a mindless killing machine with the help of an ancient artifact. When he finally regains control over his body and mind he decides to have his revenge on those who used him. As we play, we explore vast maps, avoid traps and obstacles, collect items, and fight with hordes of enemies. The game heavily focuses on combat and has a complex combat system that allows us to do many kinds of moves, special attacks, and combo strikes. Hidden Dragon: Legend features a character progression mechanic that will allow us to improve our hero’s abilities. Additionally, we collect more and more powerful items as we play and the so-called soul stones that unlock new combos.

Inspired by the Inception movie, Past Cure is a third-person action game with elements of stealth and horror. It is also a debut project of the German developer Phantom 8 Studio. The main protagonist of the game is Ian - an ex-soldier, who for years has been locked in prison and subjected to mysterious experiments that resulted in him acquiring supernatural abilities that enabled him to control human minds and use telekinesis. Ian, however, has to pay a high price for his new powers, as he slowly succumbs to insanity. Because of this, he decided to have his revenge on whoever is responsible for his condition. The gameplay builds on elements typical for the genre, thus a player has to explore diverse locations and fight numerous enemies. Even though the main protagonist is proficient with weapons and melee combat, he occasionally has to use his powers to sneak past his adversaries and avoid the omnipresent surveillance cameras. Moreover, at times his consciousness takes him to an alternate reality, where he has to solve more or less complex logic and environmental puzzles.

A tactical multiplayer RPG set in the universe of Warhammer, released for mobile platforms. Mordheim: Warband Skirmish takes the players into the eponymous city of Mordheim, five hundred years before the events in the main timeline of Warhammer. It is for that resource that several factions went to war against one another, having turned the city into an arena of never-ending fighting. The player joins the conflict leading a self-composed team of adventurers. Gameplay is about exploration of in-game levels and fighting with enemies encountered on the way as well as gathering the aforementioned mineral. Skirmishes are played in a turn-based mode with a camera set in an isometric perspective. Before starting the game you recruit mercenaries representing a specific faction and specialization. As they progress, those characters gain better and better equipment and skills. However, death here is permanent, so the dead or heavily wounded adventurers must be replaced by new ones.

The game is set in the fantastical land of Galidon – a realm of vampires, in which the player assumes the role of a crown prince, who on the day of his coronation was supposed to fall victim of an assassination, but managed to escape to safety through the underground tunnels created by his ancestors. His task is to investigate the secrets of the vast labyrinths and discover the source of an ancient power hidden deep under the ground. During the game, the player gets to control one of the three available characters – warrior, rogue, and mage. The gameplay revolves around exploring diverse dungeons, completing multiple quests, and eliminating hordes of adversaries. During combat, one can use a wide selection of arms, spells, and special abilities. The player observes the action from the top-down perspective, while the dungeons and the encountered villains are generated procedurally, making each playthrough a unique experience.

When we start the game we have to decide which side of the conflict and class we want to choose – this choice determines our equipment and special abilities. We can choose from various fire arms, knives and gadgets. The fights are viewed from first-person perspective and they take place on various maps, such as industrial district, castle ruins or streets of a modern city. The gameplay in Black Squad is based on team play and the game offers a few modes in which we have to complete objectives – from a simple elimination, VIP assassination to destroying an enemy base. Depending on which mode we chose, we can act in teams consisting of five, eight, ten and even sixteen members.

The game is set in a fantasy world, and you play as a student of the Academy of Magic. You create a hero, choose one of the Houses of Magic, and embark on a journey for adventure. During the game you mostly collect units with unique abilities and characteristics, which you can develop and modify with magical symbols. You can also upgrade your hero. The trained units can be used to form a team to be pitted against enemy groups. During battles, you support your troops with spells your hero can use. The game features a single-player mode, but you can also try to battle other players on special arenas in the PvP mode.

Another title from Ganbarion studio, set in the universe created for the One Piece manga. This time Monkey D. Luffy and his crew land on Forgotten Island, ruled by extremely ambitious pirate called Red. Due to certain circumstances the heroes have no choice, but to make their base in Trans Town and defeat Red and his followers. Gameplay-wise One Piece: Unlimited World Red resembles the Monster Hunter series. We have nine Strawhats' members at our disposal, each with unique skills and fighting style. The game uses third-person perspective and focuses on performing missions (which come down to exploration and fighting enemies) and develop Trans Town by erecting new structures, e.g. shops or a museum. These will let us acquire new equipment, tasks to complete and non-playable characters to talk with. All of this can be experienced as a single player title or with up to three other players that will accompany us we hunt monsters and defeat dangerous pirates.

A package containing ten classic arcade games from the 1980s, which were developed by the titular company. The compilation includes both games which became icons of pop-culture over the years (Pac-Man, Galaga, Galaga '88) and less known, though still classic titles (Dig Dug, The Tower of Druaga, Rolling Thunder, Rolling Thunder 2, Sky Kid, Splatterhouse, Tank Force). The Japanese developer did not decide to improve the audiovisuals or implement extended graphical settings. Before entering any of the games included in Namco Museum, the player can adjust the difficulty level, number of lives and other gameplay-related details to their individual preferences. The compilation is complemented by online leader-boards - thanks to them, one can share their results with other players from all over the globe.

An extended edition of The Metronomicon - a PC game, which came out in 2016. This new version was enriched with an expansion pack Slay the Dance Floor and released for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Importantly, owners of the PC edition received the DLC for free. The game is a mixture of an RPG and a rhythm game, such as e.g. Guitar Hero. The player is given an opportunity to assume control of a team comprised of different characters fighting to the rhythm of music. While fighting, the player can switch between the characters, using their unique abilities for attacking, healing and defense. Between skirmishes, the player develops their characters, recruits new ones and gradually equips them with better weapons and armor. The game can be experienced solo or in cooperation, in the following modes: Story, Arena, Freeplay and Daily Challenges.

The second DLC pack included in the season pass for the first-person shooter Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus from Machine Games. The expansion called The Adventures of Gunslinger Joe puts you into the shoes of Joseph Stallion, whom you had a chance of meeting in the Episode Zero DLC. The hero used to be a quarterback in a football team and now he is fighting the Nazis occupying the United States. The add-on takes you on a journey across the war-torn cities of the USA and even lets you visit the space. The mechanics in Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus - The Adventures of Gunslinger Joe are not much different from those in the original game. The main thing you do while playing is eliminating armies of enemies, consisting of both human opponents and various war machines. You can take on those enemies using all sorts of inventive fire arms.

A sidescrolling adventure game developed by a duo of independent developers known as Knuist & Perzik. Wuppo sees us assume control of a wum, a small round being that has been exiled from its home village. Our task – which is to find a new home – quickly evolves into an attempt to solve an ancient conflict. As a result, the player traverses large and varied worlds, encounters non-player characters, avoids numerous obstacles, battles various opponents and gathers stills that depict the story of this unique universe. The game is characteristic for its unique water painted graphics.

A continuation of The Pirate: Caribbean Hunt - a popular action game with strategy elements developed by the Polish studio Home Net Games. Like its predecessor, The Pirate: Plague of the Dead takes the players to Caribbean islands, until recently under control of the pirate community. The main protagonist of the story is John Rackham, who is the only survivor of the slaughter orchestrated by the Grand Inquisitor. Seeking his revenge, John turned to voodoo practices in order to resurrect legendary pirates such as Anne Bonny, Charles Vane, or Blackbeard. Together with the pirates brought from the dead, the protagonist wants to deal with his archenemy once and for all. The Pirate: Plague of the Dead features a vast open world the player is free to explore with one of over a dozen available ships. On their journey, the player has to observe not only the wind direction and velocity, but also use this information to choose the appropriate type of sails. To top it all, the game delivers a dynamic day and night cycle as well as changing weather conditions. This installment in The Pirate series is fueled by campaign missions that lead the player through consecutive parts of the story. In between these missions, one can turn to other activities that fill the treasury allowing for expanding and improving the fleet controlled by the player. Gameplay revolves around naval battles, during which one can ram into the enemy vessels, shoot the cannons at particular parts of hostile ships, and utilize special combat abilities exhibited by the captains. The entire experience features high-quality visuals – one is bound to appreciate the well-polished ship models and water animations.

A flight simulator set in the World War II period; the game was developed by Atomic Jelly and published by Movie Games. The story focuses on the titular 303 Squadron - a Polish combat unit formed in Great Britain. No. 303 Polish Fighter Squadron played a key part in the Battle of Britain. The player is given an opportunity to get acquainted with the stories irs pilots, mechanics, and other people who worked at the squadron's main base in Northolt, as well as to take part in authentic battles from the period, recreated in the game on the basis of historical evidence. Mechanics-wise, the creators emphasize quick and dynamic air battles, which situates the game somewhere between a simulation and an arcade experience. Between the subsequent missions, the player visits the aforementioned base, which can be freely explored. One can also fix their plane here and install various modifications. Additionally, the game features a lot of side assignments - those take the player to other military theaters.

Developed by Nosebleed Interactive, a space shooter enriched with elements of so-called clickers. Vostok Inc. is set in the distant future and the player assumes the role of a newly chosen chairperson of the titular company. The protagonist's goal is to gather a gigantic fortune through the completion of assigned tasks. The gameplay formula was based on two pillars. When exploring space, the player travels among 40 planets, encountering different threats, such as hostile vessels or powerful bosses. In combat, the player makes use of large array of weaponry developed over time in a complex crafting system. The other, strategic layer of the experience involves landing on the encountered planets in order to colonize them and acquire valuable resources. As the company develops, the player recruits new specialists. In the free time, one can play one of 13 old-school mini-games inspired by hits released a few decades earlier.

The Walker is an action game developed by the Chinese developer Haymaker Games exclusively for Virtual Reality headgear. The player assumes the role of a descendant of an ancient house, whose members are proficient in martial arts and exhibit magical abilities. The main objective of the game is to save Shanghai from the attack of bloodthirsty monsters that crawl throughout the streets of the metropolis. The Walker puts strong emphasis on fighting numerous foes – the player can use a pistol and a dagger, but by using magical scrolls, one can enhance the weapons’ effects with the powers of the elements, such as ice and lightning. During the game, the player has to face both minor opponents and powerful bosses. As the enemies attack from all around, the player receives proper notifications on the danger at hand. The main protagonist does not have the option to move freely – one can only look around and use the motion controllers to operate both the pistol and the dagger. The whole experience features high-quality visuals.

A combination of a first-person shooter, adventure game and 3D platformer inspired by Metroid, Ratchet & Clank and the Turok series. In Morphite, we play as a young woman called Myrah, who embarks on a journey through space. During her adventure the players can visit many randomly generated planets using a a space ship. When we are on the planets' surfaces we can, e.g. jump on platforms, drive various vehicles, solve environmental puzzles, find resources and fight with enemies. Myrah possesses many useful tools, a diverse range of weapons and a special scanner which is used for finding weapons, as well as ship and suit upgrades. When we are in space we also need to face aggressive enemies. Morphite's graphics are "angular" and the game uses a more cartoonish visual style.

A 2D platformer which is the first major project of an independent Czech studio FiolaSoft. The player assumes the role of a crew-member aboard a spaceship named Endera. The craft crashes on an object known as Entity, which is located inside a black hole. The protagonist's goals are to fix the damage caused by the collision, save crew-mates, and destroy the black hole from within, as it poses a threat to the planet Earth. Although the experience is almost entirely conventional, the developer decided to bring innovation in terms of the puzzles present, as the player manipulates gravity in this game. One can reach inaccessible parts of the map through rotating the game world in an appropriate manner. Since certain puzzles may pose a tough challenge, the player can seek help from Auriel - a talkative AI that remains at the protagonist's side throughout the adventure. Original audiovisuals constitute another distinctive feature of the game - the graphic style is funny and colorful and the soundtrack combines symphonic and electronic elements. It is worth adding, that the time spent on completion of a given level is recorded, so the players can share their results with others in the community and compete for best performances.
