An arcade 2.5D action game developed by Mexican studio Xibalba that tells the tale of highly-advanced insects. MilitAnt takes place in a fantasy world inspired by such movies as Ant Z and A Bug’s Life. However, the title was developed for older players. The main protagonist is an ant who protects its home from an invasion of merciless termites that attack the ant colony in search for precious crystals - an irreplaceable energy source. The gameplay combines traits of classic, side-scrolling shooters with platform game features. During the game player travels through eight diversified locations divided into levels that end with a boss fight. When fighting various types of opponents, player uses more than a dozen of different weapons like shotguns and rocket launchers. What’s interesting, thanks to his numerous limbs the protagonist can wield as much as four different weapons at once.

That’s not all – one can create his own restaurant which will function even when the owner is not there. The player can choose from a few predefined restaurant designs or create a new one from scratch by choosing its name, logo, style, interior decorations, clothes of the employees and menu. What’s interesting, not only the expansion offers most popular traditional meals from all over the world, but also cooking art from the experimental branch of molecular kitchen.

The action begins 30 years after a huge nuclear explosion destroyed Great Britain. The player takes on the role of the last survivor of a fallout shelter. In order to save his life, he decides to reach the surface. To do so, however, the protagonist first has to find answers for the many questions bothering him as well as discover many dark secrets hiding in every corner of the titular bunker. The player explores subsequent chambers and searches for clues, aiming to reach the ground level. The game stands out with the fact that all the in-game scenes were shot with real actors and inside an authentic fallout shelter located in Great Britain.

The story is just a pretext to the actual game, though, as Islands of Nyne: Battle Royale is a multiplayer-only title with gameplay modes for up to 100 players. The players engage in PvP combat taking place on remote islands surrounded by plasma field that slowly absorbs the playing field. We can choose from numerous firearms and melee weapons, while our goal is to eliminate all other participants and finish the battle as the last man standing.

In this universe the humanity learned how to improve the capabilities of humans with cybernetic augmentations. Gameplay mechanics of Deus Ex GO are similar to the previously released Hitman GO and Lara Croft GO - it is a turn-based puzzle game. The player assumes the role of Adam Jensen, the protagonist of Deus Ex: Human Revolution and Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. The action of the game takes place on small levels, through which the players move along a preassigned route. One can move between branching points and each action activates traps and enemies in the area. This forces the player to carefully plan his moves in order to avoid or eliminate threats. Visuals of Deus Ex GO are similar to the visuals of the aforementioned games, keeping their unique cyberpunk style.

A remarkable logic game created by Gentlymad - a German developer. In Between is rather serious when it comes to atmosphere, because it focuses on death and coming to terms with the inevitability of fate. The player assumes the role of a male who is over 30 years old and is losing his fight against cancer. According to the doctors, he has no more than several weeks remaining. Facing death, the protagonist attempts to bring his life to account - as the player, one is supposed to help him in achieving this goal. In terms of the mechanics, it is a typical logic game requiring the player to make his way through a series of levels filled with traps and puzzles. Puzzle solving is based on manipulating objects in the player's environments and playing with the in-game gravity. Simultaneously, each of the levels represents a metaphorical take on the experiences and emotions that lay within the protagonist, and references various important events from his life. In Between is divided into chapters symbolizing five stages of coming to terms with death, as described by Elizabeth Kubler-Ross - an American psychiatrist.

The gameplay is focused mainly on combat; while playing, we move on platforms, gathering gold and experience in battles against various kinds of opponents. In combat, we try to avoid taking damage by hiding behind elements of our surroundings and constantly switching position. As we progress, we develop our characters and enhance their equipment for the acquired gold. The title features pixelated 2D graphics that references the classics of the genre.

The player is taken to the mysterious planet Adelpha, inhabited by the civilization of Talan. The player assumes the role of a retired soldier sent there to protect three scientists and find a probe that has turned out to be a threat to the entire Earth. Hailed as the messiah of the Talan, the protagonist has to gain reputation among them and liberate them from an evil tyrant. The game is played from a third-person view and for the most part, the player explores the world of Adelpha, talks to characters they encounter, completes both assignments related to the main story and side quests, but also solves puzzles and fights hostiles. Compared to the original release, the game offers slightly improved visuals, supports modern-day operating systems and high resolution settings, and features a remodeled user interface.

Finally, the new edition introduces amulets – special items that offer various bonuses, including more enduring horses, faster skill acquisition for jockeys or trainers, etc.

Rabbids Heroes is a tactical card game, which is a humorous response of Ubisoft to titles such as Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft or The Elder Scrolls: Legends. The main characters in Rabbids Heroes are the title rabbits, which debuted on our screens in the Rayman series, and eventually have gotten their own game, and even an animated TV show. The gameplay is focused on subsequent duels of the crazy rabbits, representing different professions, such as knight, mage, ninja, scientist, or hunter. The task is to achieve the title of the master and reach the Moon, where the sympathetic animals originate from. During the duels, players can use cards chosen from their deck beforehand. The deck is completed throughout the whole game, and consists of 200 elements in total - subsequent successes obviously allow the players to develop their characters. The game is full of absurd humor. The visuals are kept in characteristic, cartoonish stylistics.

This calls for more creativity and looking for new ways to develop your business. Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns also features previously unavailable plants and animals, as well as activities and female characters to romance.

The protagonist's goal is to initiate an apocalyptic cataclysm that will purify the land of all the evil and darkness. However, the protagonist's own brother allied himself with the demons and tries to prevent the delivery of this plan. The game is a typical representative of the genre, thus the player explores an open world, completes quests, gathers items, develops the character and fights enemies. Combat here is based on the idea of one on one duels, during which the player does not have any direct control over the protagonist. Instead, attacking (melee), blocking enemy strikes, dodging them and casting spells is all done by executing the right gestures on the screen.

Aside from the major players, the land is roamed by numerous smaller parties such as samurai, ronin, ninja clans, pirates, or mercenaries. The action is seen from an isometric perspective, while the map is divided into hexagonal fields. The combat is turn-based – each side throws dice to deal damage and perform special actions. Moreover, we can utilize action cards, offering bonuses such as additional critical chance or more action points. Morale is also an important factor, increasing the effectiveness of our units.

A point ‘n’ click adventure game with logic elements and the debut project of a one-man studio Spelkraft from Sweden. Traversing the mysterious land, talking to non-player characters and solving puzzles, the protagonist tries to get a hold of technical devices that can help her repair her ship and go back home. The gameplay is focused on exploration in which the environmental narrative that enriches the story context and gives unique quality to the available locations is very important. Major emphasis was also put on logic puzzles, which require us to manipulate our surroundings, of various difficulty. The game features simple but incredibly colorful three-dimensional graphics shown in the classical isometric view.

The story of the game is inspired by the D&D fantasy world. During the game the player assumes the role of a knight who travels through a world filled with magic and fights encountered monsters. The gameplay mechanics of Vanishing Realms: Rite of Steel combine features of typical action RPG with traits characteristic for VR games. On one side the game features simplified controls supplemented with useful teleportation ability, on the other it offers immersion level unimaginable in traditional games. All actions – starting with picking up and using items, and ending on combat in which attacks, dodges and blocks are performed manually – require performing specific moves with one’s body. The game has attractive, slightly cartoonish graphics.

Heart&Slash started out as a minor project of an indie developer, which grew in time thanks to the financial support gathered on Kickstarter. The action takes place in a distant future, where humanity no longer exists. In the game, we assume the role an unusual robot who wants to discover his own identity and become loved. Before he can achieve this goal, the protagonist has to free himself from under the rule of the QuAsSy system that controls everyone. While playing, we traverse randomly generated locations and fight hostile robots. The combat system brings typical hack and slash game to mind and offers various kinds of firearms and melee weapons. Heart&Slash’s RPG elements allow us to develop our character by changing his parts. Should the hero die, we have to start playing from scratch but we preserve the skills we have gathered up to that point. Heart&Slash features simple 3D graphics enriched with cel-shading technology.

The player chooses one of the available warriors and sets out for a dangerous journey across this fantasy world, slaying hordes of monsters along the way. The story campaign comprises of a set of missions, during which the protagonist (male or female) explores three-dimensional levels (the player observes the action from above) and fights encountered enemies with melee weapons and magic. Combat is very dynamic and purely arcade. Fluent moves combined with performing longest attack sequences possible are the key to success. As most RPGs, Heroes of Incredible Tales offers a system of character development. This allows the player to acquire new abilities and parts of equipment in exchange for crystals obtained alongside the game's progression.

In the game Steven, along with his friends, has to capture seven warriors of light whom he earlier released by accident. In terms of gameplay, Steven Universe: Attack the Light! is a dungeon crawler. During our adventures, we lead a team of heroes and explore labyrinths, search for treasures, avoid traps, level up our characters, and face hordes of enemies. Combat is turn-based. Each character has their own unique combat style and set of special abilities. We have to rely on them if we want to be victorious. As we strike, we can draw indicated gestures on our device's screen to make our attacks more powerful.

Typically for the Goat Simulator, there is no story per se. Instead, the game focuses on a typically sandbox gameplay model which is filled with absurd jokes and opportunities for having fun and engaging in combat. Chaos and destruction can be pursued not only on the surface of the planet and in space, but on space cruisers and space stations as well. The expansion also adds various futuristic technologies and a romance system which parodies the Mass Effect series.

The action of the game takes place on an abandoned American farm, which is located above an underground research facility. The player assumes the role of a corncob that gained self-conciousness and human feelings as a result of a crazy experiment. This unusual “hero” has to get to the bottom of a conspiracy and discover the reasons for his existence. When it comes to mechanics, Maize is an adventure game seen from a first-person perspective. The gameplay focuses on exploration, conversations with NPCs, and solving intricate logical puzzles. As it discovers further secrets, our corncob encounters many original characters, such as a Russian version of Teddy Ruxpin – a mechanical teddy bear. Even if the game itself is rather light-hearted, Maize employs high-quality visuals, powered by Unreal Engine 4 technology.

Skylar & Plux: Adventure on Clover Island introduces an arcade combat system focusing on ranged and close attacks. Being a 3D platformer, the title emphasizes gathering crystals and other collectibles, often helpful in upgrading the heroine’s weapons, like the Magnetic Glove or the Jetpack. Skylar is accompanied by an owl named Plux who aids her in combat and solving logic puzzles.

However, Pelé: Soccer Legend is not like traditional football titles, in which you play normal matches. Instead, you have to face over a thousand of puzzles recreating particular moments of matches. In most of them you have to figure out how to put a ball in the net or how to play a difficult pass. Then, the player needs to put it in practice by executing precise gestures on the touch screen. Featuring a realistic physics engine, the game introduces platformer elements in the shape of numerous special powers.

The Karters is an arcade racing game developed by the Polish developer Cmoar Studio. The game was inspired by Crash Team Racing from the PS One console. In the game, we control one of the dozen or so cartoonish characters available and take part in crazy races that take place in many various locations, such as jungle, sunny beach, dust-filled canyon, or wacky town. Driving model used in The Karters is far from being realistic. Instead, it focuses on pure fun and arcade controls. The overall design alludes to the classic arcade racers like Crash Team Racing or Mario Kart. Just like in those games, gameplay in The Karters is enriched by many cartoonish weapons and power-ups located all over the racing tracks. Along with single player and multiplayer, the game also offers the Battle Arena mode, where damaging your opponents' cars is number one objective.

By moving and rotating particular elements of the mechanism (different in their shape, blocks made of various materials, such as wood, metal or stone), the player tries to disassemble the structure. Contrary to the majority of minimalistic logic games, Knot offers alluring, three-dimensional visuals that allow the player to rotate the entire structure at any angle. Also, it is worth mentioning that the game engine recreates physical properties of the materials the particular elements of the mechanism are made of.

An online science fiction strategy game by Sparkypants Studios, combining elements of a classical RTS with elements of modern MOBA productions. The action of Dropzone is set in times when humanity’s future is dependent on the mysterious energy source called the Core, and the only place where it can be found is Europa, one of the Jupiter’s moons. The problem is that the place is also a target for the alien race of Kavash. While playing, we control powerful battle mechs and our goal is to defeat the aliens as well as gather the necessary energy. The gameplay is similar to that of classic RTS productions but the developers completely dropped the base building element, focusing solely on tactical battles between two three-member teams. Skirmishes take place on small maps and usually last about 15 minutes. Both teams have to defeat their opponents and take control of the Core located in the middle of the map.

A survival sandbox with space sim features focused on online play. Hellion invites the players to a distant future in which humanity organized an intergalactic colonization mission. Together with a small group of other survivors, he must survive in hostile environment and find the reasons for the failure of his mission. Since the fight for survival takes place in space, in addition to searching for resources, crafting and maintaining good health, one must also maintain his ship. Hellion offers high level of realism when it comes to physics, sound dispersion and impact of damage on equipment behavior. Both exploration and controlling larger ships requires the players to cooperate with each other. Some players can turn out to be traitors. When fights happen, one can use advanced weapons.

Moreover, the developers introduced support fire for heavy infantry units. With the progress in the solo campaign, the strategy of Japanese army clearly changes – instead of frontal attacks, enemies start to concentrate on thoughtful defensive actions.

The gameplay retains its oldschool feel but offers HD quality.

On the whole, the gameplay is rather multiplayer-oriented, but there is a possibility of polishing our skills by clashing with artificial intelligence.

The in-game story campaign is an interesting component - the player gets acquainted with a conflict between two gangs ruled by Valentina Vega and a person known as Dark Jaw. The game makes references to science-fiction movies from the 1980s, which is intensified by simplistic, cartoonish visuals representing retro-futuristic art style.

The advanced combat system featured in Feral Rites allows for numerous punches, kicks, air attacks, special tricks and finishers. We can also transform into a beast, which significantly improves our combat abilities for a short amount of time. The production is distinguished by its high-quality visuals; when compared to other titles designed solely with the VR googles in mind, it sets itself apart even further by the perspective – as the camera is placed behind our hero’s back.

Similarly as in classic hack’n’slash games, the action is shown from a top-down perspective and the player most of the time explores the world and participates in dynamic combat with monsters. Bladebound employs touch-based controls in which one must draw lines on the screen with his finger. These lines create powerful attacks and spells. The game also contains a character progression system and the possibility to obtain better equipment and weapon. The crafting system allows the player to create his own weapons.
