A virtual adaptation of a Polish board game of the same title. It has been developed by independent studio Grey Wizard Innovative belonging to Piotr and Ewa Zygadlo, both experienced game developers (Artifex Mundi, Grim Legends 2: Song of the Dark Swan). Galaxy of Trian is set in a science-fiction universe, in which humanity gained access to advanced technology of an alien race, Trian, and uses it to strengthen rivaling nations. Gameplay mechanics match the tabletop original. The game is a turn-based strategy played on two-dimensional board, on which the player adds triangle pieces each turn, representing planets, space stations, trade routes or nebulas. Each piece has a different score value, and the key to success is connecting them to create constructions that are worth more points. Game ends when both sides of conflict run out of pieces to place, and the winner is determined by their final score.

Strategy, Arcade Elements, Games Workshop, Board & Card, Post-apocalypse, Cars, Singleplayer, Tactics.

An original turn-based strategy created by Auroch Digital. Blood Red States is an adaptation of a board game known as Dark Future and released in 1988 by Games Workshop. The players are taken to a post-apocalyptic world destroyed as a result of a global cataclysm. Well-armed squads known as Sanctioned Ops serve the role of law enforcement now, patrolling the ruined roads and highways. Assuming the roles of the squads' leaders, the players take part in spectacular chases, going after various mobsters and gang members. The experience was based on an unusual pattern, as the gameplay is turn-based and the sides give orders to their units at the same time; afterwards, they observe several seconds of real-time action, when their orders are being executed. The key to success here is not only to react to the opponent's actions, but also to predict their moves and initiate risky maneuvers that can tip the balance in favor of the player's victory.

Every class has a different set of skills, and the key to success lies in efficient coordination of actions and making use of the unique features of individual soldiers. The game also requires anticipation of enemies’ moves – it is characteristic for Lethal Tactics that both sides give orders simultaneously and then they can only observe if their employed tactic pays off. Land of Britain is an MMORPG set in a magical land inspired by the medieval Britain and legends of that period. The island is divided into three big kingdoms: Avalon based on Arthurian legends, Norse-inspired Norsengard, and Talmahria inspired by the oldest Celtic tales. Each kingdom has its own unique races and classes. All of them are at war with each other, but the incoming forces of evil will not bother themselves with such petty feuds between mortals. Land of Britain gives the players a lot of freedom in choosing their activities. The game offers your typical PvE missions with complex story lines and A.I. controlled enemies. We can also take part in PvP battles against other players or wars between kingdoms if we want to. We begin our adventure with choosing one of the two character archetypes, adventurer or craftsman. This decision influences the possible progression paths for our hero. Game’s world is a dynamic environment where changes are constant. Some of them are caused by the game itself, some by the players.

Action, Humorous, Indie Games, Sandbox, Singleplayer.

A crazy action game created by a group of five French students. Anarcute is a riot simulator of sorts, taking the player to a fictional world ruled by powerful corporations. The players assume the roles of citizens wishing to take stand against the technocratic dictatorship as they leave their homes to give voice to their disapproval. The player begins having only a small group of demonstrators. One's goal here is to convince more and more citizens that the cause is worth fighting for, which increases the overall number of demonstrators the player has. When protesting, the player makes use of various objects found on the streets, but they can also burn cars, as well as take over or destroy smaller buildings. The demonstrators are followed by police officers however, which makes the job more difficult for the player. Said officers will not hesitate to use gas or their sniping colleagues' services against the demonstrators. The game offers colorful, cartoonish visuals with a large dose of humor.

A video game adaptation of the Magic: Origins card game from Wizards of the Coast, developed by Stainless Game. Unlike the earlier digital renditions of Magic: The Gathering, the game is available as a free-to-play title and developed mostly through free updates. The creators changed some features in the game modes, with the biggest novelty being the return of the Two-Headed Giant variant, in which the players fight in pairs with shared life points. There is a system of dynamic missions and challenges that change not only for each user, but also for the whole community, and the new tutorial named Skill Quest lets players learn the rules easily. Deck Builder has also been improved, with in-game tips helping us in constructing our decks. Magic Duels: Origins offers Solo Battle mode to face off against artificial intelligence if we don’t want to duel with other people.

Strategy, 2D, RPG Elements, Indie Games, Internet, Multiplayer, Singleplayer, Turn-based.

An oldschool, humorous strategy game from the creators of Knights of Pen & Paper from Behold studio. The game tells the story of a group of stuntmen, who after years-long career have decide to make their own TV series and hire the player as their manager. Gameplay focuses on the economic aspects and tactical, turn-based battles. We must hire actors, give them costumes and roles in each scene. We also manage the technical aspects of the production by buying and upgrading equipment, like microphones, camera and elements of scenography. Then we start filming episodes, which take the form of tactical battles and let us use typical movies tricks and gadgets. Chroma Squad takes a lot from low budget TV series about superheroes like Power Rangers and is filled with references to the genre.

Flick Golf 3D is a special edition of a popular mobile sports game developed for Nintendo 3DS. The game mechanics are almost identical to its mobile version, the only difference being the fact that now they can employ the console’s 3D capabilities. Rules of the game are a slightly simplified version of those from the actual golf matches. We have to use the console's touch screen to sink a perfect hole in one. We also have to take under consideration the wind speed and direction, and obstacles, such as water, sand, or trees. There are three game modes available: you can beat high scores across six courses in Quickshot mode, compete for trophies in World Tour mode, and try yourself in Quickshot Pro. Flick Golf 3D uses both screens of Nintendo 3DS. We can adjust the 3D depth during the game, which makes it easier for us to estimate the ball's position on the course and plan the perfect hit.
