Strategy, World War I, Internet, Co-op, LAN, Multiplayer, RTS, Singleplayer.
A strategy game created to commemorate the outbreak of the World War I, recreating all the greatest and weightiest battles of the years 1914-1918. This title was originally designed as a modification to the popular Men of War series and produced by Great War Team, a studio founded by a group of talented modders from Russia, Ukraine, and Western Europe. Battle of Empires: 1914-1918 contains several episodes, dedicated to: France, Germany, Russia, and England. Developers put special emphasis on realism of gameplay and faithfulness to historical facts. Therefore, they took great care to meticulously recreate individual units (with their characteristic gear and weapons) as well as battlefields, which are based on authentic maps and archival materials from the early 20th century. Gameplay in Battle of Empires: 1914-1918 is characterized by its tactical depth, and so, it requires skillful use of environments as well as adjusting strategy to the constantly changing situation on a battlefield.

An enhanced edition of a 2012's platformer game Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams. The Director's Cut offers improved graphics (1080p), as well as the contents of the two DLC packs, namely Rise of the Owlverlord and Halloween Level. The remaining contents of the game have not been changed. A girl by the name of Giana is the protagonist. Both her and the environment around have a double nature - in the colorful version of the world, the protagonist is a rebellious teenager and the player listens to heavy sounds of an electric guitar. However, when the dream-like reality turns into a nightmare, Giana gets humbled and becomes a good girl again - in this type of situation, the player hears slightly disturbing, low-tone music. Simultaneously, the in-game locations undergo slight changes, and the protagonist can use different abilities when a shift happens. The player switches between the two dimensions depending on the current goal. On their path, one encounters plenty of challenges combining puzzle solving with arcade elements, as well as many original enemy types, including several bosses.

A space RTS with rougelike elements. In Distant Star: Revenant Fleet players lead the A'kari race that must rebuild its shattered fleet and regain its military power so they can finally face the ruthless Orthani. The gameplay is a little bit similar to the cult classic series Homeworld but the difference here is that the events are not presented in full 3D but from a top-down perspective. Battles take place in a randomly generated galaxy and, depending on the choices made throughout the game, the players can experience a different story. We can choose from many units that can be created from scratch by equipping them with different weapons, on-board systems and special modules. The game gives players a lot of room for tactics and requires them to be able to adapt to circumstances that can change at any moment, which means that the fleet must be constantly upgraded. With battles comes experience that allows the players to unlock new technologies and prepare their armies for the final confrontation.

A classical point ‘n’ click adventure game developed by the independent developer Okam Studio. The title is based on the themes of The Adventures of Dog Mendonça & Pizza Boy comic book, although it tells a completely new story. Its action takes place in an alternative version of Lisbon which is inhabited not only by humans but also by other various, supernatural creatures. The latter have to abide by a special code. Failure to do so alarms special investigators who specialize in such cases. In The Interactive Adventures of Dog Mendonça & Pizza Boy, we assume the role of Joao Vincente Mendonça (a werewolf detective) and Eurico (a pizza guy, Mendonça’s trainee). Our task is to solve a number of seemingly unconnected cases that with time can be pieced together into a coherent whole which reveals a significantly thicker scheme. The fun is based on exploration of the environment, collecting useful equipment, having conversations with non-player characters, and solving various puzzles. The title is characterized by polished graphics made with the use of the cel-shading technique.

An unusual logic game enriched with elements associated with economic strategies and card games. Concrete Jungle was designed by the creators of MegaCity. The player assumes the role of a mayor whose task is to ensure dynamic development of a small town. Although this resembles a brief description of a typical economic strategy game, Concrete Jungle uses mechanics typical for logic and card games mainly. The player has their deck, which gets expanded gradually, and the cards represent particular buildings. Thus playing a card results in the building assigned to it appearing on the map. Each building affects its neighboring areas. For example, building a sewage treatment plant increases the price of land in the area, but parcels without connection to the plant will simultaneously get cheaper. The player's goal is to obtain a specified number of points from the inhabitants of a given section, which unlocks new places for construction. Concrete Jungle offers a story campaign, as well as a competition-based mode, which requires the player to achieve victory over the AI. One can also compete against other players or cooperate with them.

She embarks on a journey through the mysterious world, trying to learn all its secrets. On her way, she encounters extraordinary geological formations (such as drifting rocks), forgotten ruins, remnants of an advanced civilizations, friendly locals, etc. The protagonist's shapeshifting ability greatly helps in the exploration — you start out as a walking tree, and later unlock the forms of a flying griffin, aquatic azertash, and others. The game's attractive visuals were created with the CryEngine technology; additionally, Wander features an atmospheric soundtrack. The game was developed by an indie Australian studio.

Strategy, 40s and 50s, Polish, Singleplayer, Turn-based, Cold War.
A classic turn-based strategy game created by Wastelands Interactive, a Polish development studio. It tells of a fictional conflict between NATO and the no-longer-existing Warsaw Pact. 1953: NATO vs Warsaw Pact takes us to the 50s, when Russian warmongering factions decided to take advantage of the state’s destabilization after the death of Joseph Stalin and wage war against the “corrupt West”. The action takes place in Europe and we assume control of land, air, and naval armies of the chosen side, although we might as well lead a custom coalition comprised of any number of nations from the list of more than 30 countries available.
