Once again, we will explore Luxendarc, a fantasy world filled with magic and adventures. Magnolia Arch is one of the new playable characters. She is the last representative of the Arch house. Her family was killed by a cruel demon. In terms of gameplay, Bravely Second: End Layer is a classic jRPG. The game has a rich, enormous world, where we can do numerous main and side quests. During our adventures we level up our party and make them more powerful. Bravely Second uses an improved version of the turn-based combat system from the previous game.

In Alone With You the player assumes the role of a colonist who is a lone survivor of a catastrophe that befell his base on an alien planet that will be completely destroyed in the span of a single month. You cannot leave the planet as the only spaceship available is broken and the hero has neither knowledge nor abilities to make it work again. However, the advanced AI of the base is there to help – it suggests reconstructing other deceased colonists and making use of their knowledge in order to remove the obstacles. The gameplay has all the typical characteristics of the adventure games genre – your main objective is to explore and solve puzzles. The key ingredient of the game is a system of player-NPC relations that determines other characters' attitude towards the main hero and the way the scenario develops. Similarly to the aforementioned Home, the production features old-school pixel art graphics.

The plot takes place in a mysterious region of the universe called Fluidic Space, where the members of United Federation of Planets and the Klingon Empire again fight for influence. The players choose one of the factions and establish colonies, gather resources, develop their fleets, and conduct research. Like a proper MMO game, Star Trek: Alien Domain features much combat between the players, including one-on-one skirmishes, raids on the enemy outposts, and great battles between the rivaling factions. In the game you may see many iconic ships from the series and movies, but you also have an option to build your own vessels.

You control a party of antiheroes who use various weapons, gadgets, and special skills. The key to success is to appropriately use the different skills and combine various combat tactics, depending on the situation.

An unusual adventure game by tiger & squid, and independent Dutch studio. The protagonist of Beyond Eyes is a ten-year-old girl named Rae who lost her sight in an accident while firing up fireworks. Ever since that day, she spends most of the time in the garden next to her house, accompanied by a cat named Nani. One day, the animal disappears, and Rae decides to leave the house for the first time in a long time to find her lost pet. The gameplay consists of traversing alien, hostile environment in search of traces of the lost cat. Since we control a blind girl, the game quite significantly deviates from the established formulas of the genre, because the protagonist has to skillfully use the incoming stimuli, mostly sound-based ones, for the purposes of orientation and visualization of the surrounding world. The game features unusual graphics that are full of endless white and dimly outlined shapes.

A continuation to Gratuitous Space Battles developed by Positech Games. Along with its twin project – Gratuitous Tank Battles – the game presents a slightly different approach to the popular tower defense strategy game genre. Like in the first installment in the series, the players cannot directly influence the outcome of particular battles, and the key to success lies in proper planning and preparation. One can do this by constructing from scratch various units and manually selecting parts and elements of munitions. Then, one has to prepare battle formations and give orders to their commanders, sit back and observe how his protégés handle the battle by themselves. In comparison to the first installment in the series, the developers introduced several new gameplay mechanics – the most prominent being 3 new spaceship classes (battleships, heavy fighters, and destroyers). The available set of weapons and components has been significantly expanded. The game also introduces carrier ships and the necessity to replenish fuel reserves.

Our main enemy are the dark and mysterious creatures that dwell in it, forcing us to solve many puzzles based on light and dark mechanics. Using various sources of light somewhat resembles Alan Wake, with plot and storytelling inspired by works of people like Alfred Hitchcock, David Lynch and Roman Polanski. Visuals are the most outstanding part of the game, using only black and white with many symbolic elements, referring to classic works of German expressionism.

The story of the game was inspired by actual events that occurred in British Columbia, a province of Canada, where several young women disappeared along a remote highway. The player assumes the role of a woman named Sofia who, accompanied by camera operator Caleb, travels to Augier’s Peak city in order to solve the mystery and find either the three missing girls or their corpses. The gameplay focuses on exploration and conversations with NPCs in order to find new clues and evidence. The story of the title is typical for an investigation game but it was enriched with some beliefs of North American tribes. The graphics of the title have slightly cartoonish style which, however, doesn’t feel at odds with the serious tone of the game's story.

The action of the game takes place in the future, in which humans have launched space colonization program in search for intelligent forms of life. After waking up from cryogenic stasis, the main protagonist discovers that the majority of the crew aboard the space ship Goliath has been murdered following an extraterrestrial hostile boarding. Player’s task is to fight off the aliens and regain control of the ship. On his way, the main protagonist meets other survivors, who join him in his mission, and together they explore the ship and fight turn-based battles against the enemies. In these battles, the player can use a number of characters’ special abilities. The plot is an important aspect of the game, allowing the players to systematically uncover the mystery behind what has actually happened aboard the Goliath, and what might be the consequences of that incident for the entire human race. The game features old-school visuals resembling the classic 1990s video game productions.

The story is set in an inter-dimensional fantasy world, and focuses on the deadly The Rush competitions, where survival is each contestant's exclusive goal. To begin, the player has to choose one from several different character classes available - each has their own different skills. Then, the time comes to equip the character with a unique set of cards, representing equipment, spells, and helpers. The game offers a real-time experience, and the maps are randomly generated. The player has to avoid deadly traps and deal with different monsters and powerful bosses. One can either compete against other players or cooperate with them in order to complete subsequent challenges, develop the skills of our character, and unlock new cards for one's deck. In contrast to the original game, each death of the player's character is permanent.

The protagonist of this game is Franklin Fargo, a PhD of physics kidnapped by a shady organization. The game begins when he wakes up in a mysterious facility, already under the alias of Subject 13. As you might guess, from there on the main task of his is to escape. The gameplay is based on exploration of 3D environments and interaction with its elements. A whole lot of logic puzzles, based mainly on the laws of physics and requiring manipulating different objects, awaits the players. As the game goes on – and as you learn the motives behind the kidnapping and the protagonist’s past, most notably the mysterious assault on his wife – the whole plot of the game will become clear.

A World-War I flight simulator devoted to the legendary Russian bomber plane ILya Muromets, developed by 1C Game Company, in cooperation with the 777 studio. Named after the legendary Russian hero who lived at the turn of the thirteenth century, this four-engined biplane was the first serially-produced bomber in the history of aviation. However, the player will have an opportunity to pilot other machines from the period as well - those were used by air forces of Germany, Russia and Austria-Hungary. The action takes place above an area as large as 22500 square kilometers, and most of that land represents the territories belonging to present-day Ukraine; the developer recreated the area with precision, based on the original maps from 1920. The game offers an extensive story campaign focusing on the rivalry between Russians and the forces of Austria-Hungary. Apart from that, the player can launch quick missions or fly with their friends in a multiplayer mode for up to 32 players.

FRU is a simple platformer developed by Thorough Games studio with Kinect move controller in mind. The players lead a small, mustached protagonist through around a dozen of diverse levels, located in several different worlds. The point of the game is that the world needs to be discovered by means of actual gestures of the player, directed to the console via the Kinect controller. By assuming the right body position, the player's "shadow" establishes a path which the protagonist follows. Special gestures allow a set of additional maneuvers such as directly defining the destination, or creating a special virtual bridge. Apart from the singleplayer, FRU also offers the ability to play with others in co-op, where each of the players controls their own character.

The action is seen from a top-down perspective, while we are given control over a unit of soldiers – the gameplay is turn-based, but the game contains also a Command Mode, which allows us to issue orders in real time as well. As the game progresses, our soldiers acquire experience points that grant them access to new abilities, while rare weaponry can be acquired as rewards for side quests. Compared with its predecessor, Breach & Clear: Deadline is characterized by more detailed areas and better visuals.

A console port of an independent old school fighting game, Yatagarasu, which became quite a success in 2011 in Japan. Legend of Raven takes us to 25th December 1926, when Japan faces a revolution. The government establishes a secret organization of assassins, who are ordered to restore the order and kill anyone opposing the authorities. For its symbol, the group takes a mythical three-legged raven Yatagarasu. Gameplay wise, Legend of Raven is a classic two-dimensional fighting game, featuring an old school style resembling the first entries in the Street Fighter series. The players can choose from various heroes, each with a unique special attack. Gameplay is fast-paced and uses 4-button control, with addition of upper and lower guard. Visuals consist of well-drawn backgrounds and character sprites. This version also features a new soundtrack and better background, as well as improved multiplayer mode.

The third installment in a strategic tower-defense game with action elements. The franchise was created in 2010 by Signal Studios. Gameplay in Toy Soldiers: War Chest is based on the series' token mechanics. You control an army of toy soldiers who have to defend their base from enemy attacks. To that end you must deploy various cannons and guns, which can later be upgraded to increase their fire power. At any moment you can take control of an individual unit, switching the perspective to TPP. The third part of Toy Soldiers series offers four distinctive armies – starting with the German Empire from the World War I period to a fantasy army of Star Power which enlists Pegasi, Unicorns, and other legendary creatures. Each side of the conflict has its own unique units, weapons, and types of attacks, which determine your preferred tactics.

This time our protoplasta tries to stop the dangerous temptations of the evil queen from the small planet Zennity Sping, who tries to subjugate the neighboring planet Folderakkiakyu. The game is inspired by genre classics and refers to adventures published by Sierra and LucasArts from the 90s.
