You have to carefully plan all your actions from the very beginning, so you can avoid creating a space collision, which would mean starting the game from scratch. A free-to-play mobile action RPG with microtransactions, developed by Kiloo Games. The game is set in Mournguard - a gloomy fantasy world overrun by demons a long time ago. The player assumes the role of a heavenly warrior, who loses his powers and enters the world abandoned by the mortals after being banished from his kingdom. The protagonist's goal is to initiate an apocalyptic cataclysm that will purify the land of all the evil and darkness. However, the protagonist's own brother allied himself with the demons and tries to prevent the delivery of this plan. The game is a typical representative of the genre, thus the player explores an open world, completes quests, gathers items, develops the character and fights enemies. Combat here is based on the idea of one on one duels, during which the player does not have any direct control over the protagonist. Instead, attacking (melee), blocking enemy strikes, dodging them and casting spells is all done by executing the right gestures on the screen.

In return, the little critters of nature have decided to take revenge. Retaliation turns out to be an exceptionally easy task, which encourages the animals to try and take over the entire world. In terms of mechanics, the game is an unusual auto-runner. The player-controlled animal runs forward through small, closed levels. The player's tasks are to survive the attacks of subsequent enemy waves, avoid traps and incoming bullets fired by the hunters, as well as to launch their own attacks. Also, the player has to complete a set of additional objectives, such as collecting a specified number of coins or fighting powerful bosses. At their disposal, the player has a wide variety of animals with different special abilities. Those abilities can be additionally developed with the game's progression.

The game has rather simple rules to follow. Before entering the tournament's arena, we have to choose our equipment from around thirty available weapons. We have have five weapon slots: melee weapons (i.e. an axe), small arms (pistol, crossbow, etc.), large guns (shotgun, flamethrower), explosives and special items, i.e. atomic bomb. An old-school two-dimensional platformer with elements of stealth. It was created by Hopoo Games, a studio known for Risk of Rain. In the game, the player becomes an embodiment of death itself, coming to Earth to stop an undead invasion. Both the sides of the conflict are a bit unusual, because the Grim Reaper uses knives and firearms instead of a scythe, and as for the undead, they are overly watchful and intelligent - they can even wield pistols and rifles. Deadbolt puts large emphasis on stealth-action gameplay. The protagonist usually dies from a single hit, which forces the players to stay hidden and attack by surprise. This does not mean the game lacks dynamism, because it features a cover system that allows for a fairly effective exchange of fire. Therefore, each of the levels in the game can be completed in multiple ways, depending on the player's preferences.

The challenging part is the fact that the batteries in the boots deplete after every jump and it takes time for the energy to replenish itself. The key to success is not only agility, but also skillful management of our boots’ power supply and using them only in the most suitable situations.

A text-based adventure game, based on the movie The Martian by Ridley Scott. The Martian: Bring Him Home was released for mobile devices as a premium game. Just like in the movie, the main task is to help the astronaut stranded on the surface of Mars. You play as a NASA specialist, who aids Mark Watney by giving him useful tips and takes care of his emotional state. The gameplay consist of conversing with the “Martian” and choosing the right dialogue options. Your answers have a huge impact on the story, which can end in several ways. The Martian: Bring Him Home is also quite educational — before helping Wantey, you often have to learn the scientific ways of solving problems, since a wrong decision may end up in the astronaut's death. Additionally, you can consult the systems monitoring the situation on Mars and Watney's health.

Adventure, 2D, Fantasy, Singleplayer, Visual Novel.

A visual novel/adventure game taking place in a fantasy universe. An Octave Higher takes us to Overture, the capital city of a mighty empire which has quickly grown in stature thanks to the employment of magic. The will to research this phenomenon led to the introduction of a new social system that divides people based on their magical abilities. As the system destroys the class balance, the country, as well as Overture, is in imminent threat of a nation-wide uprising. The plot revolves around three characters – a factory worker named Elise, Franz – a scholar, and Frederic, a member of one of the noble families. Each of the heroes stems from a different background, but a matter of an inconspicuous piano will connect their fates, creating a friendship of people whose adventures will shape the outcome of the inevitable rebellion. When it comes to gameplay, the game is a typical visual novel – the player follows the plot and decides upon the course of action during various situations that may or may not shape the outcome of the story.

A game combining adventure, logic and arcade elements, created specifically for PlayStation VR goggles. Wayward Sky was developed by Uber Entertainment - the creators of Monday Night Combat or Planetary Annihilation. The player assumes the role of a young female pilot called Bess, who, along with her father, crashes in a mysterious fortress protruding from the clouds. The old man is taken prisoner by the hostile robots and the player's goal is to save him, getting past various obstacles that happen to get in the protagonist's way. Generally, Wayward Sky is a point-and-click adventure game which focuses primarily on solving puzzles. Contrary to the classics of the genre however, puzzles here not always require only thinking - arcade elements appear for instance when the player has to control an awkwardly-moving robot in order to press certain buttons which cannot be reached by the protagonist. Wayward Sky stands out with its fairy-tale-like visuals contributing to the games atmosphere.

Puzzle, 2D, Indie Games, Ninja, Singleplayer.

A humorous logic puzzle game, starring a warrior frog, which can defeat the strongest of enemies with only one kick. Green Ninja: Year of the Frog was created by Nitrome, famous for its non-serious productions: Cooped Up, Sausage in Meat Land, Platform Panic or Roller Polar. There is no direct combat in the game; instead, you lead the protagonist to ninja warriors, who are hiding from him. The game features an unusual control system. By pointing a direction with you finger, you make the frog leap and extend his foot, ready to deliver a kick. If the frog hits an enemy, they lose. If he hits the wall, he sticks to it, and if he hits gold, he falls. There are more things to be careful of, such as trapdoors, lava, etc. Your objective is to kick every enemy in a given level with the least moves possible. Green Ninja: Year of the Frog features fitting colorful 2D visuals.
