A science-fiction RTS developed by Stardock Systems, the developer team known for Galactic Civilizations. The game is set in a distant future, when humans developed a highly advanced AI, leading to a period of unrestrained technological advancement. All humans abandoned their former bodies and transferred their consciousness into electronic systems. However, humans did not eliminate their worst instincts. Fueled by greed, they started a war with machines for a valuable substance called computronium. Gameplay mechanics is based on the typical RTS formula. While playing you gather resources, capture power stations to expand your base and army, and conduct technological research. Large-scale battles are fought across the surface of entire planets. In order to simplify unit management, you can create so-called meta-units, which are easier to control on the battlefield.

The other one involves exploration and fighting. Once in a while, you will stop at different places to thoroughly search them. An unusual combination of fantasy adventure and stealth games, developed by Frozenbyte, the creators of such series as Trine and Shadowgrounds. In the title, we assume the role of a seasoned killer, Shadwen, who is given the task of murdering a king. However, during the mission, the protagonist encounters an orphan named Lily, which significantly influences the gameplay mechanics—we have to decide whether or not to expose the child to the sight of blood or use alternative ways of eliminating enemies. The killer we control possesses considerable skills in terms of acrobatics, remaining hidden, and surprise attacks, although a direct confrontation usually gets her killed. The characteristic feature of Shadwen is the fact that time flows only when the protagonist moves. It allows us to plan our next move calmly and precisely as well as to prepare intricate traps with the use of a number of interactive objects.

Developed by Digital Dreams Entertainment, Mutant Football League is a spiritual successor to a 1993 game under the same title released on Sega Mega Drive. The nuclear war, which took place years before the events presented in the game, has led to the extinction of the majority of human population. To make things even worse, the cataclysm has caused dead bodies to rise from their graves, demons to leave their underground lairs, and living creatures to mutate. The new inhabitants of the planet did not abandon numerous forms of entertainment, including the titular Mutant Football League – a parody of American football. Player’s goal is to win a season comprising 13 matches. When conventional methods fail, one can appeal to some dirty tricks like bribing the referee. Due to the nature of this sport, the matches can be very brutal. One can command the titular mutants, aliens, animated skeletons, battle droids, and football players that came straight from hell. The players can utilize a wide arsenal of weapons (featuring knuckle-dusters, battle-axes, chainsaws, and even grenades) along with numerous special abilities. Among the peculiar features of the game, one can find the system of traps, mines, lava pools and toxic clouds ever-present on the football field. Additionally, the changing weather system affects the game with its acid rains and violent storms.

A representative of the third-person stealth game genre, created by the independent studio of Lince Works. The main character of the production is the titular Aragami - an assassin who has risen from the dead and has been endowed with supernatural abilities. The mysterious Yamiko is responsible for his resurrection and she desperately needs his aid to escape from the closely guarded fortress. Gameplay mechanics revolve around the characteristic patterns of similar productions, such as Tenchu or Dishonored. Zones visited during the various missions have an open-world character, which, combined with an extensive range of skills, allows the hero to perform tasks in many different ways. In Aragami we have to sneak in the shadows, teleport to selected locations, dispose of the bodies of murdered opponents, and even create clones of the protagonist. However, the hero clearly wasn't meant for direct confrontations and a group of opponents are able to take his life without much of a problem. The cartoonish visuals, which draw inspiration from the East Asian culture, are also a very distinctive feature.

Postal 2: Paradise Lost is the second official expansion for Postal 2. It was released twelve years after the base game was released, which is quite unusual, to say the least. The game takes place eleven years after the events of the first expansion, Apocalypse Weekend. Once again, we end up in Paradise City, ruled by chaos and anarchy after the nuclear attack. Our job is to bring back peace and order. To do so, we have to face the self-proclaimed separatists. We will meet many familiar faces from the previous game, not only Gary Coleman. Like in every Postal game, gameplay is filled with ridiculous humor and over-the-top brutality. Running With Scissors did not improve any technical aspects of the game and reused the old engine from Postal 2. Due to that decision, the game looks rather outdated.

Minimalistic, in terms of visuals, logic strategy game designed by an indie developer from New Zealand, Dinosaur Polo Club. Mini Metro is a project that originated as a prototype created for the 48-hour Ludum Dare contest. The game puts you up against a challenging task of designing and building a subway network in a dynamically developing metropolis. The game features randomly generated maps. Initially, there are only 3 stations to manage, but as the city expands, stations appear in new, randomly designated places, and with them even more impatient commuters. In order to offer them fast communication around the metropolis, you have to constantly open new metro lines and modify the existing ones for maximum efficiency. Mini Metro ends when dissatisfaction of citizens reaches maximum.
