A 2D RPG developed by Japanese studio Vanillaware. The game combines elements of such genres as classic beat’em up games, platformers and fantasy RPGs. In Dragon’s Crown the player becomes a hero looking for gold and glory. Together with his companions, the protagonist is trying to obtain the eponymous treasure hidden deep in an underground labyrinth. In order to reach their objective, the heroes must pass through forgotten ruins and face monsters inhabiting them. The protagonist can belong to one of six character classes with various abilities. During the game the player can move only in two directions and the gameplay is fast and intensive. Many various opponents will try to stop the player, to defeat each of them different battle strategies must be employed. The greatest challenge are the boss battles, usually consisting of several phases. The game focuses mostly on a cooperation mode for up to four players.

Compilation of two classic instalments of the popular arcade strategy series, Worms 3D and Worms 4: Mayhem, released in 2003 and 2005 respectively. They were groundbreaking for the series, moving the eternal struggles of the title bugs into the third dimension. The creators of the series, Team 17, didn't make any changes to the gameplay mechanics, focusing instead on refreshing the visuals and tweaking them to HD standards. They also improved the camera work and minor shortcomings in the control system.

Created by the independent developer Team Meat, who also created Super Meat Boy, The Binding of Isaac is a roguelike action shooter with RPG elements. In game, the player becomes Isaac and travels through successive randomly generated dungeons, similar to the ones in the first installments of The Legend of Zelda series. Each level is filled with scores of enemies, demanding boss fights, and classical puzzles. To solve the latter, the player needs to gather items such as coins, bombs, keys, or special cards. The game features an unique character progression system, instead of the experience gained strength of the character depends on special weapon upgrades or magic artifacts, which can be bought in shops or found in special chests and hidden rooms. Thanks to the ability to combine pieces equipment, as the story progress the main character becomes more powerful. The cartoonish visuals of the game are a call back to the simple action games from the 8-bit era.
