Strategy, Arcade Elements, Games Workshop, Board & Card, Post-apocalypse, Cars, Singleplayer, Tactics.

An original turn-based strategy created by Auroch Digital. Blood Red States is an adaptation of a board game known as Dark Future and released in 1988 by Games Workshop. The players are taken to a post-apocalyptic world destroyed as a result of a global cataclysm. Well-armed squads known as Sanctioned Ops serve the role of law enforcement now, patrolling the ruined roads and highways. Assuming the roles of the squads' leaders, the players take part in spectacular chases, going after various mobsters and gang members. The experience was based on an unusual pattern, as the gameplay is turn-based and the sides give orders to their units at the same time; afterwards, they observe several seconds of real-time action, when their orders are being executed. The key to success here is not only to react to the opponent's actions, but also to predict their moves and initiate risky maneuvers that can tip the balance in favor of the player's victory.

The game is divided into modules, each having a completely different, self-encompassing story. Mechanics-wise, the production combines a turn-based strategy game with elements borrowed from CCGs and board games, while the gameplay rules were designed by Richard Garfield, the creator of the popular Magic: The Gathering collectible card game. Battles are fought in turns on maps covered with a grid. While fighting, we command a several-member party of adventurers and perform every action by playing cards drawn from the deck. The game is designed to resemble tabletop role-playing games which are played with the use of figurines and paper maps.

The quest to gain power and influence will involve battles of large military forces, as well as espionage and convert assassinations. Aside from the major players, the land is roamed by numerous smaller parties such as samurai, ronin, ninja clans, pirates, or mercenaries. The action is seen from an isometric perspective, while the map is divided into hexagonal fields. The combat is turn-based – each side throws dice to deal damage and perform special actions. Moreover, we can utilize action cards, offering bonuses such as additional critical chance or more action points. Morale is also an important factor, increasing the effectiveness of our units.

The game takes place in a realm called Middle-Board and its plot focuses on the legendary magic dice which were given to all races, except for goblins. The goblins decided to sow discord among the dice-bearers by spreading rumors of the one dice that rules them all. During the game players join the selected race. The action takes place on several boards where the players must face various challenges and objectives. One can deal with them with special cards that are collected as the game progresses. In addition to that, we level up each time our pawn makes a full lap around the board. In contrast to classic, rivalry-based board games, the key to success in DICETINY lies is cooperation of all players.

Wartile is an RTS with elements of card and board games. The game takes place in a dark fantasy world inspired by the Norse mythology. We control a party of vikings on a raid. Gameplay focuses on real-time battles between groups of warriors. Each of them has their own strengths and weaknesses, and the key to victory lies in taking advantage of them. Another important gameplay element is the deck of cards built by the players. Those cards will not only power up our warriors, but also activate both offensive and defensive actions. Cards also play an important role in exploration. Battles take place on three-dimensional maps that are divided into hexagonal tiles, and lay of the land, which is an important tactical element that should be taken under consideration when we are preparing our strategy. As a result, Wartile brings to mind a turn-based strategy that somehow takes place in real-time. Along with the story driven campaign Wartile offers a multiplayer mode. The game uses Unreal Engine 4.

The title expands on the ideas known from the original, while combining elements of a board game, tactical turn-based strategy, and RPG. Gameplay focuses on spectacular duels of the most famous warriors from both of the aforementioned games. Unlike other typical board games Krosmaster Arena lets you command a party of champions, whom you recruit gradually as you play. Each one of them has their own characteristic skills, hence the key to success lies not only in proper tactics, but also smart use of the characters, so that they complement one another on the battlefield. Gameplay is enriched by a wide selection of special cards that represent spells and items – multiplying the available tactical options even further.

A turn-based strategy game set during the Napoleonic Wars, developed by Glenn Drover, a renowned board games designer. We assume the role of the famous French emperor, who faces a coalition of over a dozen European countries led by the British, in six varied scenarios that take place between 1800 and 1813. The gameplay mechanics of Victory and Glory: Napoleon combine classic strategy, card, and board game elements. It focuses on tactical land and naval battles with the use of actual units and their most famous commanders. The result of each battle is dependent not only on the parameters of the participating units but also on random factors. The special event cards, which are drawn before we start playing and then at every subsequent turn, are an important modifier. The title allows us to compete only against a computer-controlled opponent.

Culdcept Revolt is a turn-based RPG developed by Omiya Soft, which uses elements of card and board games and was released as part of celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Culdcept series. The game takes us to a fantasy world where we play as a boy named Allen. He's a recruit in the Rebel Army that fights to put an end to the tyrannical rule of Count Kraniss. As we play, we take part in turn-based battles that take place on grid-covered maps. Our goal in each fight is to get as much points as possible. They are given to us for taking control over new sectors of the map. A throw of dice decides how far we can move during our turn. If we encounter an enemy while making our move, a battle begins, during which we use monster and spell cards. We learn the game's story through visual novel-like cut-scenes. Culdcept Revolt offers a local and online multiplayer for up to four players.
