The Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences Group has announced a shortlist for the D.I.C.E. Awards. God of War and Marvel's Spider-Man were among the titles with the most nominations.

The season for nominations for prestigious industry awards is in full swing. Last week, we learned the candidates for the IGF and GDC statuettes, and now is the time for the D.I.C.E. Awards, awarded by The Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences.
The winners will be announced on February 13th, during a lavish gala held in Las Vegas. God of War has a chance to win the most statuettes, because in as many as twelve categories. In turn, eleven nominations can boast of Marvel's Spider-Man.
Finally, it is worth remembering who won the previous edition of the D.I.C.E. Awards. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild was recognized as the best game of the year. Nintendo's hit also triumphed in the categories: The best adventure game of the year, Outstanding achievement in the game project and Outstanding achievement in the direction of the game.
