Are you excited to play Battlefield 6 beta after its multiplayer reveal? Here you will learn all you need to know about it, and how to play before others thanks to Early Access.
Times when you could depend on the number in games’ titles are long gone. From the most popular productions, only Final Fantasy seems to stick to that pattern… for the most part, at least. Could you imagine playing Call of Duty 40? Yes, that sounds a bit ridiculous. That’s probably the reason why 10th main instalment of Battlefield series is labelled only with number 6. After many controversies that made fans doubt this franchise, it appears that Battlefield 6 will go back to its roots. Players are hopeful that this military shooter brand will stay at least decently serious, contrary to its rival. Encouraged by such direction and a multiplayer showcase, though still cautious, the faithful fans await the open beta that is supposed to happen very soon. There is an option, however, to squeeze out even more out of this test period, because there is an Early Access available that can prolong your time with the beta. Getting it, though, has a special requirement that can be already a thing of the past. Are you eligible? Let’s find out.
Despite a singleplayer campaign’s comeback after its absence in Battlefield 2042, most of the playerbase is focused on multiplayer part of Battlefield 6. The partially leaked event revealing inner workings of the mode has promised an open beta period for everyone to check. It will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox and PC. However, it is possible to get access a bit faster than others thanks to Early Access that will take place August 7-8, 2025. Being able to get it is a whole different story.
On the official site containing information about the open beta, we can see that in order to be invited to the Early Access period of the tests, it is required to either:
Even if you have missed an opportunity to enjoy Battlefield 6 closed beta, there are still plenty of chances to try it out during 2 consecutive open beta weekends that are planned as follows:
As you can see, Early Access is just an extension of the first week, as the second one already lasts 4 days for everyone. Remember that preload will become available on August 4, starting at 3:00PM UTC. If you are playing on PC, though, you might be wondering if your machine will be able to meet the game’s requirements. For your convenience, you can check them below:
If you are eager to play some of the classic maps from previous Battlefield titles, the newest release should be a treat for you. It is especially worth having an eye on because the production will still be using the standard (as of now) pricing and won’t go up to $80. Have fun!
