Risen 2 Dark Waters: Give Butch a Thrashing

This quest is part of: Butch Has Got to Go

While searching for water barrels for the Ship's Equipment quest, you'll eventually end up at the water hole which is supervised by Butch. Because he's not too eager to cooperate, you have to get rid of him. To this end, talk to Miles [#2], and then convince the supervisor that you know the location of a treasure cave (see: Down into the Cave). The sucker will go for it and you'll be free to take him into a nearby cavern [#3].

This means fight!

Since there are no valuables there, the man will realize he has been fooled. You can now either fight him or shoot him - even during the conversation (requires the Nuff Said! skill). Whichever option you choose, the quest will be completed, leaving you free to go back to the workers at the water hole.

Rewards:

• 50 Glory points for completing the quest.
• 100 Glory points for defeating Butch.
