Risen 2 Dark Waters: The Gnome Eater

Quest giver: Kaan [#1]

You receive this mission from the gnomes' shaman who can be met on the edge of the village, just outside the cave. He'll tell you (he speaks the human language fluently) about a menacing threat lurking in the east of the island [#2]. A giant beast has claimed it as its hunting grounds, and it has a particular taste for gnomes. If you wish be of service to the little smartass, help him eliminate the threat.

The battle is not easy - make sure you come prepared.

Leave the gnomes' village and head west - just follow the path. The monster can be seen even from a long distance - it's really gigantic. Since he moves very fast, you won't be able to shoot it with the shotgun (with the "hit and run" method) - Dirty Tricks are much more successful, especially the number with the parrot (it will allow you to strike a few blows). After it's defeated, loot its lair (there is a couple of useful stuff), and go back to Kaan. The bigheaded gnome will be so pleased as to give you his Flask - one of the legendary items.

Note! If you killed the monster before talking to the shaman, nothing happens - the quest will still be completed.

Rewards:

• 200 Glory points for completing the quest;
• Flask;
• 200 Glory points for killing the Gnome Eater.
