Risen 2 Dark Waters: The Blood of the Ancestors

Quest giver: Corrientes [#1]

This quest is part of: The Hidden Valley

You'll receive this mission from Corrientes right after completing The Secret Entrance quest. There are two ways to do it.

The first option involves saving Angus [#2] (see: The Deserter) - if you take him back to Valdez [#3] and talk to the Inquisitor, you'll learn the true identity of Corrientes. When you next see him, the Nameless Hero will automatically draw his weapon and attack the impostor. Choosing this option is quite unfortunate because it means fighting with every one of Garcia's servants all at once - including the Natives who you'll have to stun (you'll kill the pirates, thus cancelling their quests!). Since the battle is extremely difficult, don't forget to bring your companions along, and what's more, flee the village - you have zero chances while you're within its borders! Only when you get back you can try to lure your enemies, one by one, outside and take care of them there. Once you've dealt with them, kill Corrientes and take the Blood of the Ancestors from him (which ends the present quest).

By fighting inside the village you can get more Glory points.

The second option involves talking to the shaman Osamu [#4]. When you report to him after completing The Secret Entrance quest and talking to Corrientes, the pirate's deception will come into light, and you will receive the Blood of the Ancestors. This way is much easier, but it gives you less Glory points (for not fighting with the Natives).

Rewards:

• 200 Glory points for completing the quest.
