Risen 2 Dark Waters: O'Brian's Treasure

After obtaining the treasure map during the O'Brian's Treasure Map quest, the Nameless Hero will learn where the drunk from Captain Steelbeard's crew buried the chest full of valuables. The goal of this mission is of course to find it.

In order to dig it out, you will need a Shovel - you can buy it for 150 Gold from Flannigan [#2], a merchant living in the west part of the pirates' settlement. If you completed the previous mission, Pete's Treasure, shopping won't be required as you should already have it, and completely for free.

The place where the treasure is hidden is usually marked by a red cross.

Armed with a shovel, head to the waterfall [#3] where water carriers are working, and then use the tunnel ahead of you, which leads to the north part of the island. As soon as you reach a beach, look to the left. You'll see a spot marked by a red cross several meters away [#4], which is where O'Brian buried his treasure. All you need to do is approach it and use the left mouse button. That's all.

Note! This quest is part of the Become a Pirate mission. If you're trying to gain reputation with Captain Steelbeard [#5], telling him that you've uncovered the treasure is a must. He will take it into consideration in his assessment.
