Risen 2 Dark Waters: The Treasure on Fortress Beach

To get the treasure you need to open the chest in the Inquisition's tower first. You can find it near the garrison, left from Carlos [#1]. It's a tough nut to crack as the chest can't be opened without Lockpicking at least at 60. If you meet those conditions, play around the lock and take the treasure map from it.

An interesting place to hide valuables.

With the drawing pointing to the hidden cargo, leave the fortress and head for the crystal cave below [#2]. The entrance is from the beach - pretty much where you found Patty at the beginning of the game. Dig the chest out in the cave. In it, apart from all kinds of valuables, there is a legendary artifact - Comb with one tooth. This is the end of the quest.
