The Last Guardian: Climb over towers with ropes extended between them

Allow Trico to lower the drawbridge

After you exit the dark ruins, allow Trico to jump onto the elevated drawbridge and allow him to lower it. Then, command him to jump over to onto the first one of the tall towers in this area. He will succeed at that, but he will refuse to continue, as he has spotted another stained glass pane around. Therefore, you will have to go and destroy it.

In this location, you will have to walk over several ropes

Carefully, start lowering yourself down Trico's tail. After you have come sufficiently close to the ledge in the lower part of the tower, jump onto it. Here, take a walk over the rope. This is not too demanding, you only have to make sure that you maintain your balance. After you reach the end of the rope, jump towards the lianas and climb over them to get to the ledge up above.

After you get to the ledge, there will be another rope that you will have to walk over. The rope will snap at a certain point, but the boy should be able to grab onto it. Continue climbing up and use the lianas to reach another ledge.

You will now have to walk over the last rope. Your goal is to reach the small metal platform with the stained glass pane hanging down from it. Here, you will have to shove the mechanism over to make the pane drop into the chasm.

Carefully climb down the chains to get back to Trico

This is going to be the most demanding part of the climb, because you will have to lower yourself to get back to Trico. Approach the edge, grab on to the first chain and lower yourself carefully. Act in the same way in the case of the rest of the chains. Finally, leap towards Trico to land on his back.

Walk over the narrow ledge

Point the beast to another tower and wait for him to get there. Along his path, Trico will jump towards the stairs above, but he will stop, because he will run into yet another stained glass pane. With Trico, climb down and approach the spot where the stairs are destroyed. You gave to hove to the right here, over a very narrow ledge.

Use the lever to throw off the second stained glass pane

A bit ahead, you will have to squeeze through a very narrow opening between the wall and the damaged tower fragments. Continue up, until you reach the arm supporting the pane. Walk onto the beam and pull the lever to drop the pane into the chasm.

Trico will catch you in mid-air

Soon, the beam will lose its stability and the boy will hang over the chasm. Wait for Trico to appear under you and let go if the lever. The beast will catch you in mid-air. Climb up the tail onto the back and command him to continue climbing over the tower. Trico will automatically reach its successive parts.

After you get to the very top, you will see a cutscene of the unexpected encounter with the other beast and, after the collision, you will drop down into a completely different part of the ruins.
