The Last Guardian: Feed Trico and cross the dark tunnel

Take the small passage under the partially lifted gate door

In the new location, the narrator will inform you that Trico is weakened after the most recent battles and he needs to feed. Before you go to find some barrels, it would be a good idea to climb onto the beast and pull out all of the spears stuck in his body. (at least three). Only after you do that, head towards the partially opened gate with a railway car crushed under it. Get under the gate door.

The barrel is in the unlit part of the ruins

Follow the corridors. You can jump down to a lower level now, or remain at the upper one for as long as you want to. Ultimately, you will have to enter an unlit tunnel. At the lower level of the tunnel, there is a barrel. Pull it out of the ground and take it back to Trico.

It is not going to be easy to deliver the barrel to Trico, because you will have to reach the upper level with it and the boy cannot climb while carrying items. This means that you will have to toss the barrel to the neighboring ledge twice. Spots where to do that have been shown in the above screenshots. In the spot on screenshot 2, try to jump towards the ledge with the barrel on as quickly as possible, because it may otherwise roll back down and you will have to start over.

Walk over the damaged tracks

After you reach the upper level, head towards the tracks. You have to walk over them and make sure that you do not lose your balance, or else you will fall. Return to Trico. Since he is very weak, place the barrel in front of him, he will eat it, which will restore him to full health.

Return to the chamber behind the partially opened gate. Take interest in the second railway car (the one farther away from the gate), which has been shown in the above screenshot. Start pulling on it (be patient - the boy will take some time to put it into motion) and let it roll down.

The car should stop in the spot shown in the above screenshot. Climb onto it and jump towards the neighboring ledge that used to be inaccessible. Turn left here and reach the handle. Start pulling on it, which will open the gate. Do not release the handle, until Trico reaches here.

Trico will be able to cross the dark tunnel and reach the exit

Head towards the dark tunnel again. Call on Trico, mount him and command him to enter the tunnel. Since his horns glow, he will be able to cross to the exit safely, where there is an area full of towers.
