The Last Guardian: Get around suits of armour on your way to Trico

Reach the area with stairs in it. On the left, you should spot the first opponent. The suit of armor will attack you as soon as you come close to it. Return to the external balcony and get around the opponent this way (or free yourself, if you are caught) Then, return to the chamber with the stairs in it, climb up a little and jump over to the neighboring ledge in the spot shown in the above screenshot. The suit of armor will be unable to get here, but it can use magic attacks over distance (remember that you can tap buttons corresponding to the symbols displayed on the screen).

You open the passage above by pulling on the lever

Here, there is a lever that you have to pull to lift the grate atop the stairs. Approach the part of the ledge closer to the bottom entrance to the area with the stairs. As soon as the suit of armor gets there, run in the other direction, jump over to the stairs and climb them to get to the newly-opened passage.

Get around the suits of armor busy with attacking Trico

You will reach a large stone balcony, where there are two suits of armor. The good news is that they will be busy throwing spears at Trico, which will let you sneak past their backs. In the next chamber, you will have to leap towards the central structure and locate the lever, then lure one of the suits away and run up the stairs, when it is safe to do that.

Walk over the horizontal beams

After you reach the very top, find a wooden structure and start walking over the wooden beams. Some of them will drop down, but it suffices not to hurry and to change your route, whenever necessary.

Ultimately, you will have to approach the small projecting balcony shown in the above screenshot. Take a leap in its direction. You will fail and drop onto Trico, who will appear right underneath.

The lever that lowers the drawbridge is on the right

Trico will be unable to climb over the lifted drawbridge and you will have to help him. Take a leap off his back and land at the bridge side. Here, find a small path on the right and you will get to the lever that operates the bridge. You can now enter the ruins. Stop in the larger, well-lit area.
