The Last Guardian: Solve the cart puzzle

Ram into the shielded opponent to allow Trico to finish him off

Climb onto Trico and point him to the green ledges by the cliff, which will allow you to reach the ruins that you can see in the distance Climb down from Trico and enter the building with a huge round chamber. Jump down into the bottom level where the fighting starts. During the fight, avoid the "standard" suits of armor in order not to get grabbed (of course, if this happens, you can try and free yourself). You cannot behave in a passive way, because one of the opponents is using a stained-glass shield, which makes it impossible for Trico to eliminate him. You have to ram into the opponent, at least, once and hope that, after he drops his shield, Trico will take interest in him quickly and deal with him.

The barrel is on one of the balconies

After the fight, check out if Trico needs help (there may be spears stuck in his body). Take a look around for interactive ledges that will allow you to get to the balconies up above around the arena. Walk over the balconies to the other end, where you will find a barrel. Pick it up and toss it into the arena.

Point Trico to the mechanism on one of the walls shown in the above screenshot. Trico has to grab on to the mechanism with its forelegs and interact with it to make the nearby grate go up.

Past the grate on the left, you will find a cart. Grab on to the handle and start pulling it. You have to take the cart into the spot shown in the above screenshot, i.e. the spot lit by the sunbeams (directly under the grate in the ceiling).

Climb onto the cart and stand in the position shown in screenshot 1. Point Trico to the elevated cart handle. After a while, he should figure out that you want him to provide counterbalance. As a result, the boy will be catapulted. You should reach the grate by the ceiling shown in screenshot 2.

Trico now has to spot the boy, thanks to which he will jump towards the balcony up above.

Climb up and take a look around the chamber, where there are three levers. Pull each one of them and take the corridor to the right. Thanks to this, you will reach a big balcony directly above your starting spot in this part of the ruins. Call on Trico and wait for him to jump towards the ledge up above.

Return to the main chamber and take the corridor by the lever in the middle. After you come out, turn left and walk over the lower part of the roof. After you reach its edge, climb onto Trico and point him to the ledge by the small waterfall, shown in the above screenshot. Wait for him to get there.
