The Last Guardian: Travel through the mine

Enter the tunnel o the left, follow it to the very end, turn back and call on Trico (shown in screenshot 1). He will partially manage to get across the tunnel, but it will take him some more time before he rejoins you. He will only be able to slide his head into the hole, but this will suffice. Climb onto the head and jump over to the ledge shown in screenshot 2. Make it over to the neighboring tunnel and unlock the locked door into the tunnel.

The attempt to use the lever will fail, but you have to try it anyways

Also in this case, you have to command Trico to squeeze through the tunnel. He will be unable to go on, because of the grate in his way. Apart from that, he will get stuck here. Try to get to him and a large part of the tunnel will collapse (don't worry, the boy will not die).

Climb over the partially destroyed structure

After you have regained control of the boy, squeeze through the partially collapsed tunnel and ignore the unconscious Trico, for the time being. As soon as you get out of the tunnel, take a look around for the damaged part of the wall that you can climb onto. Head towards the large exit that you can see in the distance.

Trico will head towards the bridge to the tower

At the exit, you will be attacked by four suits of armor. Backtrack immediately and head into the area with Trico in it. The beast will react, set himself free and deal with all the opponents.

After the fight, calm Trico down and make sure that there aren't any spears stuck into his body. Then, return to the mine exit. Climb onto Trico and point him to successive ledges that he can jump towards. At the very end, Trico will jump towards the long bridge. It will crumble partially, but you will soon get into safety.
