Important information related to M1 map

  • You start your adventure with the Blood and Wine expansion from this part of the duchy. It doesn't mean that the area is safe. In many locations, especially in points of interest, Geralt can encounter high level monsters or bandits.
  • It is a good idea to visit the Plegmund's Bridge location early and unlock the group of side quests Wine Wars. You should do it because during these quests you will secure nearby points of interest and you can do it while exploring M1 map.
  • The most dangerous location in this part of the duchy is Arthach Palace Ruins. A hansa hideout with many bandits is located there. Clean the area and eliminate the leader of the enemies only after you develop Geralt enough.
