Scavenger Hunt: Grandmaster Wolven Gear - diagrams and item statistics
On this page you will find descriptions of all six Grandmaster Wolven Gear diagrams - two swords, armor, boots, trousers and gauntlets. You will also find here their requirements and statistics.
During this quest you must find all six diagrams for the Grandmaster Wolven Gear. You can learn about this quest by meeting Zdravko in the city of Beauclair during the Master Master Master Master! side quest (the quest can be also added to your journal if you find one of the diagrams with no one's help). All diagrams are located in the same place, but in order to get them you must thoroughly explore the ruins and defeat all monsters inside.
Important - There are bonuses for wearing more equipment from this Witcher school simultaneously:
- Equipping three Wolven Gear parts - you can use three different oils simultaneously.
- Equipping all six Wolven Gear parts - throwing a bomb has no delay.
Location of the ruins with the Wolven Gear diagrams
All Grandmaster Wolven Gear diagrams can be found in the same location - in the underground area shown on the above picture. The place is called Termes Palace Ruins. The location is in the southeastern part of Toussaint duchy, east from Gelenser Farm.
Diagrams
Go to where the archeologists camped
In order to find the lost witcher and the wolven gear diagrams you must go to Termes Palace Ruins located in the southeastern part of the map (M5,3). Ignore the monsters near the ruins once you reach the destination. First look around through the camp. You will find a chest with Isabelle Duchamp's Journal inside. Read the journal and then find the small entrance to the ruins with a magic purple barrier.
Find the key that opens the barrier in the passage to the underground chambers
After listening to Geralt's commentary you can look around for two objects shown on the above picture - Purple Ruby and George Herbert's Letter. Go back to the barrier and use Witcher Senses to find the place where you should place the previously obtained jewel. This will remove the barrier and allow you to explore the underground part of the ruins.
Explore the chambers under the ruins
Soon after entering the underground Geralt will be attacked by barghests and wraiths on level 40. It will be the first of a few groups which you will have to eliminate. You can use wraith oil, Diamond Dust bomb and Yrden sign to clear the ruins of monsters (if you use Yrden, then attack the monsters after they walk inside the circle). Additionally, you should avoid their surprise attacks performed after they jump on Geralt or suddenly teleport to a different place. Examine the skeleton, ignore the locked door on the right (you will use it at the end to leave the dungeon) and go left when the battles are over. You will reach a weakened wall. You must destroy it with the Aard sign.
Walk to the further part of the dungeon. Geralt will be attacked by a single Giant Centipede. As you should remember, Yrden sign is very effective when it comes to getting rid of these monsters. After using it you must wait for the monster to appear inside the magic circle and become paralyzed. Use that chance to attack uncovered part of his body. Go forward, break another wall with Aard sign, jump to lower floor and get rid of some new barghests and wraiths. First go to the right. Find the skeleton of a witcher shown on the above picture. You will find Diagram: Grandmaster Wolven silver sword, Diagram: Grandmaster Wolven steel sword and Diagram: Grandmaster Wolven gauntlets.
Now go to the left room which you haven't explored yet. You must find the bag shown on the above picture. Inside you will find the three remaining diagrams - Diagram: Grandmaster Wolven armor, Diagram: Grandmaster Wolven trousers and Diagram: Grandmaster Wolven boots.
In order to leave the ruins you must go towards the locked door which you have previously examined from the other side. On the ground next to them you will find an Old elven key.
