Important information related to M4 map

  • After you reach Beauclair for the first time, explore the city in order to learn about all its most important attractions. You should do it during day, so that you can check shops (merchants, innkeepers, barbers etc.). In addition to that, during day Geralt can encounter people that can give him minor quests about which he won't learn from the notice boards.
  • One of the unique locations in the city is Cianfanelli bank. This location is related to one of lesser quests, but the more important information is that you can exchange currency there (it works similarly as in Novigrad in basic game).
  • While in the city you don't need to worry that someone can attack you. The only exceptions are rare encounters with bandits during quests. If a battle with bandits start, you can deal with them on your own or you can retreat to one of the guard outposts and receive their help.
