Wine is Sacred The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine Guide

This quest is relatively easy. In the course of the quest, you will have to fight two fights - i.e. one with several panthers and one with a group of regular bandits. Paradoxically, you may have the most problems with the middle part of the quest, where you have to explore the vineyard in search of incriminating proofs.

Report to the duchess about your hunt for the Beast

to stat this quest, you first have to return to Beauclair Palace (M4,14) where you meet with Duchess Anna Henrietta and with Damien de la Tour. At the end of the meeting, confirm that you are ready to set out to Castel Ravello Vineyard.

Escort Anna Henrietta to Castel Ravello

On your path to Castel Ravello, you will encounter a group of villagers fighting off panthers. Dismount your horse and eliminate the panthers, using dodges and Igni sign. After you have eliminated the threat, mount the horse again and continue to the vineyard. Once you get there, you will speak with the vineyard master, whom you have to interrogate.

Go with Anna Henrietta to the cellar. After you get there, you will have to find the Wine Register and read it.

Find Sangreal from the 1269 vintage

Climb up the stairs to the higher cellar level. Then, reach the barrels shown in the above screenshot and look at the information sign to verify that this is the wine that you are looking for (there also are different vintages in the cellar, but they are not of your interest). Follow Anna's instructions and knock on all of the barrels (use your witcher senses to make sure that they are full)

The items that you are looking for are in the locations shown in the above screenshot - the Barrel tap is in the crate at the ground level, whereas the Wooden hammer lies on one of the upright barrels.

After you have obtained both, return to the barrels and interact with them, one after another. In two of them, there is wine of a different kind. Return to the vineyard master. Listen to the conversation and confirm that you are ready to go to Astre Ruins.

Defeat the bandits

It is a good idea to use Igni sign during the fight

After the cutscene, you will have to fight a sizeable group of level-42 bandits. The good news is that there are de la Toure's people on your side, so you can pick on your targets without haste and simply walk away, if you take damage. After the battle, you will watch another cutscene and return to the town, with Anna, afterwards. This will unlock another main quest- The Man of Cintra.
