Far Cry 5: False Prophet

False Prophet is the title of one of the feature tasks of Far Cry 5 that can be played during your stay in the Henbane River region. It is a spectacular mission to demolish the huge statue of Joseph Seed. The protagonists will be disturbed by the Cultists while carrying out this plan. A full description of the solution for the mission of "devastation" of the statue is given below.

Note - If you can already carry two different main weapons, take a rocket launcher and a heavy machine gun on board. Fortunately, you will manage without any preparation, because the game will allow you to find useful weapons in the place where the mission is played.

Demolishing the statue of Josepha Seeda

This mission may only begin after you have helped the rebels in Hope County Jail, Henbane River. Get to prison and talk to Tracey (she should guard the walls of the jail). Head to the hill where the Joseph's Word statue is located. Be careful of at least one sniper before approaching it. Damage to the statue should not be done until the area has been cleared of the cultists.

It's best to rely on the launcher - use your own or find one nearby. You won't destroy the statue with a single hit. Observe the damage bar in the upper left corner of the screen and always aim to a different part of the statue. Hitting the same parts of it will not lead to further filling up of the damage bar. Also know that subsequent hits may "reveal" new enemies (including another sniper). Quickly kill them or change your position to disappear from their field of vision.

Reaching the top of the statue

This is not the end of the mission, because you have to reach the very top of a damaged statue. Expect to fight with the Cultists in each "floor". Your hero has to explore the inside of the statue alone, so pay more attention to his health bar. After each fight it is worth to explore the area, because you can find, among other things, safes and large amounts of ammunition.

Use the lever along the way to lower the ladder (an example of a lever is shown in the screenshot). Also, be aware that in at least two places you will be attacked by enemy helicopters. Use a rocket launcher or heavy machine gun to shoot them down. After you are close to the top of the statue, be cautious of yourself, because a fall from a high altitude can mean a sudden death. Jump into the upper shelves and walk on one of the narrow beams. After reaching the top, a video of the book's burning will be shown and the mission is finished.

Reward for completing this mission: 900 resistance points.
