Far Cry 5: The Confession (cult kidnapping) in Holland Valley

The Confession starts automatically after sufficiently weakening the cult in Holland Valley. The attack happens when you reach level 2 out of 3 in this region. You can't protect yourself from the cultists, just like in The Cleansing - this mission is mandatory. The walkthrough below contains information that will help you escape from the cultists (for the second time).

The kidnapping

This quest starts just like one of the attacks done by John Seed's men (such as a random encounter). The main character loses consciousness due to Bliss drug. The game takes you to the cultists' hideout in the valley - John's Gate bunker.

Note - As always, you can't use your weapons nor your allies throughout the entire mission.

During the interrogation you can answer John (press the button displayed on the screen) or ignore him. After that you will be left alone. Start moving on the chair (tilt the left analog stick). Reach the stairs and slide down to break the chair and free yourself.

Reach the room with two cultists. Perform takedowns and get a melee weapon.

Keep moving. Search for chances to perform takedowns on cultists. You can also get a pistol. Reach the huge door with a wheel handle and proceed to another part of the bunker.

Eliminate more cultists in combat or by using takedowns. You have to reach the door where you will watch a cut-scene. After that you have 90 seconds to escape from the bunker. Follow the linear path and kill only those enemies who stand on your way. Outside, ignore enemies stunned with Bliss and move away from the bunker. The mission ends when you reach the small
