Far Cry 5: The Atonement (the first mission related to taking over) in Holland Valley

The Atonement is the first of three story missions in Far Cry 5 related to taking over Holland Valley. This mission will start automatically once you gather 13000 points in Holland Valley. You should start it immediately, as until you eliminate John Seed you won't be able to meet your allies in Fall's End. A full solution to this mission can be found below.

Important - you don't need to prepare for The Atonement mission in any special way, but you should prepare for the mission that starts just after it. You should have two new skills:

1. Auto Repair perk - it will enable you to automatically repair the plane you pilot.
2. Parachute perk - it will enable you to get John easier once he jumps from the plane.

Reaching the place where you encounter John Seed

John Seed will contact you after you obtain 13000 resistance points in Holland Valley. You must do as he says and move to Fall's End where your allies are being imprisoned. Once you get there, enter the church. During the meeting with John you can follow his order (press the button) or ignore it.

Journey to Seeds ranch

No matter how you act, a battle in the church will start. Be ready to eliminate some cultists. Once the mission is updated, run from the building and take seat with the machine gun on the jeep.

A ride to Seed's ranch will start. During the journey you should use the weapon to kill cultists, to destroy hostile vehicles and to shoot down incoming planes. Once you reach the ranch, leave the jeep and enter one of the planes - the one on the starting line or in the hangar (it doesn't matter). Wrath mission will start immediately after.

Reward for completing the mission: Dogfighter (a new plane)
