Far Cry 5: How to hunt down a rabbit?

Rabbits are one of the wild animals that you can hunt in Far Cry 5. Sadly, rabbits are much more difficult to find and kill than the other animals. Here you can find a few tips on where and how to hunt a rabbit. You have to kill and skin this animal to unlock Been there, done that trophy and to complete Rabbits skinned challenge. Complete them by hunting only one animal of this species.
Where can I find rabbits in Far Cry 5?
The picture above shows two good hunting spots which are located north from Moonflower Trailer Park in the western part of Henbane River. Another great thing about these places is that you can quickly reach another one if there weren't any rabbits in the first hunting spot.
Finding and killing a rabbit
After reaching any of these hunting spots you can decide to either join Boomer to your team and/or take The Ultimate Hunter drug. Also, it is better to go hunting after dark. Rabbits are more difficult to notice during a day. Note - Complete a few missions if you don't want to wait until that part of a day (the game may change time automatically during some of the mission). After that you can go hunting.
Rabbits are easily scared so move while crouching. Look through a scope or binoculars. Locate this animal and kill it with a rifle with a scope (the picture above). Don't try to get closer to your prey because it will start running away. You won't catch a rabbit, even if you send Peaches after it.
Getting a trophy (a rabbit skin)
Don't forget to skin a killed rabbit to complete the related challenge which is worth 2 perk points.
