Action games. Wide category of games that require reflex, accuracy and agility. It includes, among other things, shooters (e.g. Call of Duty and Battlefield series) and action-adventure games (Tomb Raider). First and third person perspective (FPP/TPP) is used. In most cases we are playing as a character who has to defeat some enemies and reach a specific point. We can use a wide range of weapons, including pistols, rocket launchers, swords, knives and like. Action-adventure is a particular category within action games genre. Such titles put less emphasis on action and combat, focusing more on story, exploration and puzzles.

Ghost of Tsushima

The player is taken to the titular island of Tshishima, where as a samurai he or she fights the Mongol invaders in order to avenge the death of family and close ones. A direct confrontation isn’t always the best course of action. To effectively eliminate opponents, the protagonist must learn to work in the shadows.
Critical Ops

A dynamic online shooter game, often referred to as a mobile CS. Critical Ops was made by Finnish studio Critical Force Entertainment, known for a similar production - Critical Strike portable. The game is available for free, but features optional microtransactions; only purely cosmetic items can be bought for real-world money. The gameplay consists of battles involving anti-terrorist and terrorist forces, taking place on dedicated maps.
The Terminator: Future Shock

The next installment of Bethesda's series of first-person action games, based on the license of the cult science fiction Terminator movie series. In the game we play the role of a hero freed by the resistance movement, who decides to join the fighting fighters and stop the criminal artificial intelligence of Skynet, which experiments with time. Technically, the game is a big step forward, offering a richly textured 3D environment and the ability to look around freely with the mouse.
Red Dead Redemption 2

The protagonist dies very often here, for the game is characterized by high difficulty level, thus the player is bound to start over numerous times.
Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus

The Action of Wolfenstein: The New Colossus is set in 1961 – after waking up from a coma B.J. Blazkowicz and his companions find the United States of America occupied by the Nazis. The main protagonist finds common ground with the leaders of the local resistance, and decides to help them fight the invaders.
Medal of Honor (1999)

Shadow of the Colossus HD

Dishonored 2

The title is a result of cooperation between Arkane Studios and the game’s publisher – Bethesda company. The sequel’s main heroine is Emily Kadwin, the daughter of the murdered empress, who joins forces with the empress’ former bodyguard Corvo, the protagonist of the previous game.
Postal: Redux

A modern remake of one of the most controversial games in gaming history. Originally, the title came out in 1997 as a debut production from the developer Running With Scissors. Both the gameplay and the premise were inspired by the phrase “going postal” which means to become uncontrollably angry and violent as a result of working a stressful job.

Wolfenstein: The Old Blood

Titanfall 2

A continuation of a multiplayer shooter by Respawn Entertainment, which was published in 2014 exclusively on PC, Xbox 360, and Xbox One. In contrast to the first installment, Titanfall 2 offers a single player campaign in which you assume the role of a resistance rifleman with the ambition of becoming a pilot. His chance comes as the owner of an Argus class Titan dies during his mission and the stranded machine chooses the protagonist as its new pilot.
Destiny: The Taken King

The third, and the largest so far, expansion for Destiny – a multiplayer first-person shooter developed by the creators of the Halo series, Bungie Software. The plot of the expansion focuses on character from the Hive race, Oryx – the father of prince Crota, main antagonist of the first DLC. The new expansion provides a completely new story campaign that consists of 12 missions and a new multiplayer raid during which players are visiting the Dreadnought, Oryx’s powerful fortress of a ship.
Shadow Warrior 2

A sequel to a first-person action game, which in turn was a remake of a popular FPS from 1997. Polish developer Flying Wild Hog comes back with a continuation set five years after the events of the first game. In Shadow Warrior 2 you play as Lo Wang, who now leads a lonely life of a mercenary working for the local Yakuza. Gameplay mechanics did not change much, so the protagonist takes down on his enemies using a wide arsenal of firearms and melee weapons.
Alien Shooter 2: Conscription
