XSX Action Video Games
Action games. Wide category of games that require reflex, accuracy and agility. It includes, among other things, shooters (e.g. Call of Duty and Battlefield series) and action-adventure games (Tomb Raider). First and third person perspective (FPP/TPP) is used. In most cases we are playing as a character who has to defeat some enemies and reach a specific point. We can use a wide range of weapons, including pistols, rocket launchers, swords, knives and like. Action-adventure is a particular category within action games genre. No Man's Sky

A science-fiction, sandbox action game with a focus on multiplayer mode. It was created by Hello Games, company known for the colorful arcade production Joe Danger. The game is set in the distant future in the yet uncharted parts of the cosmos, and the gameplay is presented in two forms. We explore the successive corners of the universe piloting a spacecraft, like we do in typical space-sim productions. Upon landing on a newly discovered planet, the game switches to first-person view.
Assassin's Creed: Valhalla

The 12th main installment of the Assassin's Creed series - TPP sandboxes, from 2018 representing the RPG action genre. In Ubisoft's game we travel around the open world (which makes the complex parkour system more attractive), we perform various tasks and eliminate hosts of opponents. We gain experience points for our activities and advance to the next levels, thanks to which the combat potential of our character increases with time.
The First Descendant

Looter shooter TPP game, in which we take on the role of the heroes fighting alien invaders. The First Descendant can be played solo, but it's the co-op where it spreads its wings. The game is distributed in a free-to-play model with microtransactions.

Grand Theft Auto V

The fifth major installment in the massively popular action game series developed by Rockstar North in cooperation with Take Two Interactive. Grand Theft Auto V is set in a fictional city of Los Santos (based on Los Angeles). The story revolves around adventures of three characters: Michael De Santa, Trevor Philips, and Franklin Clinton, men infamous for brushing up against the law.

Metro Exodus: Enhanced Edition

System Shock

The original game was developed by Looking Glass Studios and is considered a classic of the genre, combining shooter mechanics with RPG elements in a cyberpunk setting. This new edition was created by Night Dive Studios, known for the 2015's enhanced edition of the same game. System Shock Remake recreates the original story, taking the player to the Citadel space station.
Alan Wake 2

Assassin's Creed: Shadows

Sker Ritual
