Far Cry 4: Valley of the Yetis is the first story DLC released for the fourth installment of the best-selling FPS series Far Cry. The game takes place in Himalayas, in the titular Yeti Valley, where a helicopter with our hero crashes. In this cold and inhospitable land, Ajay Ghale, known from the base game, will have to face new enemies, spearheaded by the brutal local cultists and mighty Yetis. That, however, is only the beginning of a darker story. It soon turns out that the real evil awaits our hero in the heart of the mysterious valley. The expansion, available for the season pass owners or separately, gives the players additional couple of hours of gameplay in the Far Cry 4 universe. Valley of the Yetis can be played alone or in co-op, where our protagonist is accompanied by Hurk, a character known from the base game.

The world in which Clockwork takes place was struck with a plague that killed the majority of its population many years before. Few survivors have sheltered themselves behind the walls of the city of Watchtower, trying to find an antidote for the dangerous virus. Alas, it turned out that the only way to avoid the plague is to close one’s mind in a mechanical body that is immune to diseases. In the game, we assume the role of a homeless boy named Alto who discovers that the watch he owns is inhabited by a creature of great power that is willing to help rebuild the old order. In this way, Alto embarks on a grand adventure that involves solving puzzles, fighting enemies, and manipulating the spacetime. The game features detailed hand-drawn graphics that have uniquely atmospheric style.

The game was developed by Italian studio Milestone – the creators of many acknowledged racing game series, including the first four WRC games. While playing, you become a young driver who tries to get accepted into Sébastien Loeb’s rally team. You can compete on rally courses all over the world in 15 different play modes, such as classic rally, head-to-head race, Rally Cross, or Pikes Peak Ascent. The game features a few dozen cars from 20 manufacturers, including not only modern ones, but also cars that made the racing history back in 1950s. You can also customize the appearance of the vehicles.

Set in a science fiction world, an old-school first-person shooter in a retro style inspired by similar productions from the 90s. In this debut project of Pixel Titans, you take control of a scavenger who suddenly loses a huge space cruiser ICARUS from his radar during one of the scouting missions. He decides to see what is wrong and ends up having to fight for his life on the deck of this humongous ship. Mechanically, Strafe is a dynamic, hard-core shooter in which you have to constantly fight, move, and dodge attacks in order to survive. Additionally, the death of the hero requires you to start everything from the beginning. The diverse locations you visit are, to some degree, procedurally-generated. To make the struggle easier, you get to choose one of three types of weapons, which you can upgrade as you progress. The title also features a simple crafting system and trading.

The developers, Maciej Targoni and Wojciech Wasiak, created 50 challenges with gradually increasing difficulty. Completing the game takes 1-2 hours.

It is inhabited by four races - the game features original interpretations of the typical fantasy races. In terms of gameplay mechanics, it is a first-person dungeon crawler. The player assembles a team of characters representing various classes. The party visits labyrinths, descends into subsequent dungeons filled with traps, enemies and puzzles. Solving them open the way further. The game offers a turn-based combat system. The characters can perform standard attacks, cast spells and use their special abilities. As usual, the player decides about the character development and teaches the party members new skills with the experience points earned as the game progresses progression.

She is accidentally taken to an alternative dimension where her friends are at the brink of war. Her task is to cause all sides to make peace, defeat seven sages who threaten the world and find a way back home. The game is a typical turn-based jRPG filled with absurd humor, references to Japanese pop-culture and typical tropes from anime series and games. When compared to the original PlayStation 3 version, the new edition features modified interface, additional characters and new scenarios that were previously available as DLC.

The fifth major installment in the popular mobile action RPG series by Gameloft. The story of Dungeon Hunter 5 is a direct continuation to its predecessor. Even though the forces of darkness have been stopped, glory days of the kingdom of Valenthia are at an end. Trade routes are overrun by bandits while demons appear in swamps to create a powerful undead army with the warriors who raised the grave. In the game, we assume the role of a bounty hunter who tries to restore order in the kingdom, at least partially. The gameplay mechanics haven’t been significantly changed and are still rooted in the hack ‘n’ slash genre. The protagonist’s tasks include performing subsequent quests that involve exploration of the kingdom, fighting hordes of monsters, gathering treasures, and developing skills with the obtained experience. The equipment system now lets us destroy items to acquire raw materials needed to enhance weapons.

A dark, Victorian-themed adventure game developed by Ynnis Interactive, an independent French studio. The story takes the player to the mysterious Blackwood Manor, where the female protagonist died years ago. Her name was Abigail, and her spirit has been summoned once again. The protagonist has to find out what happened here after she died, and what was the cause behind the Manor's abandonment. The game employs the popular point-and-click mechanics and the gameplay itself consists mainly of exploration and puzzle solving. However, the game is innovative in several aspects, simply because the protagonist does not have a body anymore. Thus, as a spirit, she is capable of traveling through walls, ceilings or floors. Accessing different locations is by no means problematic, which applies to hidden areas as well. Consequently, the game does not feature a standard inventory, for the spirit can possess an item in order to use it in puzzle solving instead.

The game features the characters and maps from one of the main installments in the series, Call of Duty: Black Ops. You can play as one of several soldiers, including Tank Dempsey, Nikolai Belinski, Takeo Masaki and Edward Richtofen, as well as the characters from the secret Dead Ops Arcade mode. The soldiers fight with a wide array of firearms, such as the ray gun, the Monkey Bomb and the SPAS-12 shotgun. One online match can involve up to four players, who take on the roles of their chosen soldiers and team up to defeat the hostile zombies. Call of Duty: Black Ops features a voice chat option to make the communication between the players easier, and a system of microtransactions, which allows the players to purchase equipment and quick revive packs.

A hack’n’slash action game based on Peter Jackson’s movie The Hobbit: Battle of the Five Armies. The game enables the player to participate in the titular battle as a supporter of one of the sides of the conflict. The player can lead a three-person team of men, elves, dwarves or orcs. Each race features various advantages and disadvantages. However, this has little meaning on the battlefield as the combat mechanics are always similar (the only exception is the elves who are using bows). The battles are fought near the Lonely Mountain and are focused on eliminating groups of enemies. During the fight the player can freely switch between the party members. Because the game lacks a typical story mode, the main objective is to achieve as high score as possible and to compete in online rankings. The graphics of the game aren’t impressive as the textures are of low quality and the maps lack details.

Sons of Anarchy: The Prospect uses three-dimensional visuals with cel-shading technology. Warning: the mobile port of the game has been put on hold.

The visuals of the production resemble those of the web-based Anno games and The Settlers.

As we progress with the plot, we gather experience points and develop our character. While Fire Emblem Fates: Birthright is a full-scale sequel, players who want to learn the whole story should also buy the Conquest edition, available with a discount as add-on.

The story is again told from a few different perspectives. In addition to well known characters, completely new ones appear in the game. As in previous games developed by this studio, the gameplay focuses on the story and on the necessity to make various decisions that determine the path of current and further episodes. It is possible to import saved games from the first season and decisions made there will impact the game.

The prince interacts in various ways with characters known from the original manga, whom he meets during his journey, including the forest witch Narcia or the White Knight looking for a legendary sword. In Return to PoPoLoCrois: A Story of Seasons Fairytale we will also find features of tactical jRPG productions, such as exploration and numerous turn-based battles. At the same time, we must manage farms, rear animals and crops to complete side quests and gain the necessary funds. All of this is supplemented by many minigames and social features known from the Harvest Moon series.

The story returns to the same universe - the group of female ninjas are taken to another dimension to take part in a tournament that will allow them to send their loved ones to the afterlife. The game is characteristic for its fast-paced gameplay - the player traverses extensive levels and fights against encountered enemies by employing an extensive combat system, including dodges, counters, and combos. Similarly to its predecessors, the player’s health bar is represented by the heroines’ outfits, which turn to tatters as our character accumulates damage.

An arcade football game, directly referencing the cult Kick Off series for Amiga computers in the 1980s and 1990s. The new version of the game was developed by Dino Dini, as commissioned by Sony. Dino Dini's Kick Off Revival is firmly grounded is the traditional mechanics of the series, while at the same time introducing a range of necessary upgrades. It's still a dynamic football match simulation with high difficulty level. To make things even harder, the ball is no longer automatically led by the player—keeping it requires extra work now. However, it provides for greater freedom when it comes to passing the ball or precise striking. At the same time, Dino Dini's Kick Off Revival still features its oldschool vibe thanks to the top-down view of the pitch (although other views are available) and a specific visual style—which is, however, fully 3D and much more detailed than 30 years earlier.

The adventure leads her through medieval forests, caves, and aforementioned mountaintops. Brave & Little Adventure consists of six chapters, in which the players explore charming locations while completing various tasks given by encountered neutral characters. Additionally, the key to success lies in solving various logical and environmental riddles, as well as sneaking behind certain enemies’ backs. The title is characterized by two-dimensional, colorful visuals and nice character animations. The authors’ vision is completed by a memorable, climatic soundtrack.

A third-person perspective action game with survival features, inspired by the cult PS2 game Shadow of the Colossus. The title is a debut project of the independent American studio No Matter. Prey for the Gods takes place on a large island covered with ice. During the game the player assumes the role of a female hero who discovers the secret for the endless winter that rules over the land - turns out that some powerful gods are responsible for it. In order to restore the old order, she must face them. Similarly as in Shadow of the Colossus, the essence of the game consists of duels with giant enemies. In combat the player must be creative and observant – they must find weak points of the colossuses. The game also allows the player to climb on the giant bodies of the enemies. The title features many modern solutions, such as survival elements and a crafting system that allows for crafting of various weapons that are useful in combat.

A first-person science fiction survival horror game developed by the independent studio Camel 101. The hero’s goal is naturally to solve the mystery behind this situation while being hindered by numerous enemies and a myriad of other dangers. Gameplay-wise, the production is a kind of comeback to the roots of the genre, putting emphasis on claustrophobic atmosphere and the everlasting feeling of danger. The fun is focused on exploration, finding clues, and solving puzzles that let us gradually discover the story background of the entire plot. Direct combat is rare and our weapon arsenal is severely limited, just as the ammunition stock.

In battles, we make use of a wide range of melee weapons and advanced martial skills or every hero. The above is complemented by strategy elements that involve managing territories we control. The outcome of battles is influenced not only by geographical structure of the terrain but also the overall political situation. The eponymous Empires mode, which is divided into sets of scenarios, lets us play both solo and in cooperation with other players. Moreover, the so-called Creative Mode allows us to design our own missions from scratch.

Wick embarks on a merciless vendetta during which blood of criminals flows like a river. While playing, we traverse various locations, interact with characters, and, first and foremost, take part in dynamic shootouts where our survival depends on our ability to avoid enemy fire and use cover. John Wick Chronicles requires a VR headset to work and supports most of the popular devices of this type.

Mechanics-wise, it is a clone of the popular Candy Crush Saga, while the gameplay boils down to moving elements that can be found in subsequent levels and combining them into groups that number three or more identical objects. Moreover, on every stage, not only do we have to score a given amount of points but also fight with the aforementioned lizards as well as complete various extra challenges. Completing these goals is slightly complicated because of limited movement. Luckily, our sea friends, who play the role of power-ups, are there to help us.

Players must create an undefeated team of heroes that will win against all adversaries. Gameplay is based on two pillars, the first being unique battles that focus on combining groups of colorful Ki balls. This results in a certain amount of damage being dealt to the opponent, depending on type of combination, and effects can take the form of eye-catching animations, resembling the animated series. We can also charge powerful, game-changing special attacks. The second part of the game takes place on a two-dimensional board – we move our character to collect useful items and money. Additionally, there is a simple system of character development. Dragon Ball Z: Dokkan Battle lets us play solo or with friends. The title is distributed in free-to-play model with micropayments – real money can be used to buy new character cards to our collection.

While playing, we have to carefully select investments, optimize costs, meet our customers’ requirements, and balance the budget. The game gives us a lot of freedom in organizing business, though. We can turn our skyscraper into a place of entertainment and relax for tourist, focus on providing offices for companies, create expensive apartments, or try to combine all of these strategies.

The titular protagonist of Kirby: Planet Robobot is a little pink fellow who has to bring back order to the Dream Land, as it was attacked by mechanical entities causing turmoil that needs to be dealt with. Mechanics are similar to those in the previous installments. The player travels through platform levels, uncovers secrets, and fights enemies – Kirby swallows them, which allows him to gain their special skills. The most important novelty are the mechanical armors – they enable him to overcome otherwise impassable obstacles. Kirby: Planet Robobot offers a single player campaign and the co-operation mode named Kirby Clash, in which three players face powerful bosses. From the technological point of view, it is a 2.5D platformer in which you can go deep into levels.

In terms of mechanics, we are dealing with a classic representative of the genre, in which we traverse a semi-open world divided into various, distinctive locations. The creators have put various challenges in our way, including things like clearing our path and, of course, fighting enemies and challenging bosses. Our submarine can be improved in the course of the game, receiving various abilities that help during combat and allowing us to access previously unavailable locations. The game features attractive 2.5D graphics.

During the gameplay, the player explores linear levels and fights encountered enemies. The game also features occasional puzzles. In contrast to the game's early, fan-made mod, form, it received an upgraded interface and lighting system, improved graphic elements, and a better enemy AI.

Apart from the single player campaign, the game also introduces multiplayer. The title utilizes comic book-like 3D graphics resembling those of DOTA 2.

Gameplay itself does not require much skill from the player, and boils down to performing simple actions, such as playing with the child. The game aims to immerse the players into impression of having lived through the last months of a child’s life, letting them experience all sorts of situations, some of which give joy and hope, while others are very sad. That Dragon, Cancer is a form of tribute to the developers’ deceased child as well as all children who struggle with cancer.

Alongside his friend Evelyn, the protagonist embarks on a dangerous journey, trying to outwit members of the powerful Clairvaux corporation. Adam’s Venture: Origins puts emphasis on logic elements and offers about 60 varied challenges that require us to use our wits. Technically, the game is an attempt at redoing the game in accordance with the initial concept, which was deemed unworkable due to technical and financial reasons. Therefore, the title offers slightly expanded story enriched with new themes, modernized graphics, and a number of gameplay enhancements.

Another installment in the fighting game series set in the Gundam multiverse, popular especially in Japan. The game was developed by Bandai Namco. In Mobile Suit Gundam: Extreme VS Force, the players assume role of the pilots operating giant mechs, called Mobile Suits, and fight various opponents. The gameplay does not deviate significantly from what we have already dealt with in previous productions of the franchise. The action is observed from the third-person perspective and several robots can participate in a single battle. As befits a proper fighting game, we are given a set of basic strikes that can be combined into deadly combos. As far as novelties are concerned, the most important ones include new units and the Extreme Force Mode in which teams, led by a player, fight one another in real time with the option to pause combat and issue orders to individual combatants.
