And oldschool sandbox space strategy game with simulation and role-playing elements by Cold Rice Games. You play as a spaceship captain, and your task is to manage it while exploring remote planets. You have to e.g. recruit your crew and appoint them to their respective positions, all the while managing the ship's equipment and finances. During the game you go through many adventures, participate in trade and establish diplomatic relations, as well as fight various enemies. Thanks to the combination of many genres, Interstellaria is a very expansive game, which also makes it very difficult. The production combines the oldschool visuals and audio layer with more modern elements (such as sandbox elements) and is a kind of tribute for classic productions of the 1980s and 1990s, absorbing mostly due to their complex and interesting gameplay.

First story DLC expansion for The Evil Within – a third person survival horror from Tango Gameworks – which comes as part of seasons pass. The game’s plot follows three detectives sent to asylum to investigate murders committed in this place. DLC takes place simultaneously with the events of the main game, but features a different perspective. We now play as detective Sebastian Castellanos' missing partner, Julia Kidman, whose tale hasn’t been fully explained in the story of the base gam, allowing us to unveil the complexity of the whole story and learn the reasons behind her mysterious disappearance. A new completely plotline is introduced through exploration and solving puzzles, though fighting and action sequences are still present. DLC stands out with its darker and more claustrophobic atmosphere.

A free-to-play team online shooter that employs an unusual gameplay premise: 5 vs 5 vs 2. The game was developed by the few dozen members comprising the team at Sony San Diego. The action of Kill Strain takes place on the icy tundra where various factions fight for valuable energy sources. Three rivaling teams face each other, two of which are five-member mercenary groups, while the third one is a duo of mutants with incredible abilities. The presence of three teams on the battlefield, all having different objectives and skills, makes the gameplay multifaceted and unpredictable. You never know if the enemy will join forces with the mutants to wipe out the competition. Another unusual gameplay element of Kill Strain is the aerial camera, similar to MOBA productions. On the other hand, the visuals present quality equal to the best TPP productions.

Released for Nintendo Wii U and 3DS, Rodea: The Sky Soldier takes place in the fantasy land of Garuda. A girl called Ion accidentally wakes up a mechanical warrior named Rodea, asleep since 1000 years before. The warrior comes back to life, but his memory is lost, and his right arm is damaged. Rodea can only remember that he participated in a fierce battle, when he met a girl resembling Ion. They join forces and fight against the empire of Naga, which is approaching the borders of their country. An important part of the gameplay it the ability to fly, which allows the protagonist to quickly move around the virtual world. Like other action games, Rodea: The Sky Soldier features battles of varying difficulty, out of which, of course, the most interesting are the boss battles.

During the game, we control a fleet of spaceships, traversing the vast, open world, discovering new planets, and fighting with encountered opponents. Developers have left players a lot of choice in taking various activities and choosing a career. Authors also provided them with the ability to land on planet surfaces in order to obtain raw materials or capture unknown fauna species. During the game, we unlock a number of technologies, allowing modifications of our ships and space stations. We can also assign additional tasks to individual members of the crew who can develop their skills and learn new roles in the course of the game. Spacewrights offers a narrative campaign for single player as well as a survival mode and cross-platform multiplayer.

A turn-based RPG game for mobile devices (Android/iOS), inspired on the popular Pokemon series. Duel Revolution employs a free-to-play distribution model with optional microtransactions. The game takes place in an alternative version of modern world which is filled with paranormal beings. Fantasy creatures are a regular thing there and they can be caught and tamed. It is the main objective of the player, who assumes the role of a monster trainer. He must train the creatures and then make them fight with creatures trained by his rivals. In Duel Revolution it is possible to freely explore a world filled with interesting characters and missions. Completing them, similarly as winning battles, is awarded with experience points. These can be used for developing the monsters, of which there are more than 100 types. An interesting addition is the possibility to combine several species into a one, powerful hybrid. In addition to solo mode the developers from Prodigious Works prepared a competitive multiplayer mode.

An episodic shooter emphasizing tactical elements, set in a universe that combines science fiction and the Western genre. Space Marshals was created by Pixelbite, the studio known mainly for the Reckless Racing series. In the game the player assumes the role of a space lawman, whose task is to capture or eliminate dangerous fugitives that escaped from a maximum security prison. When it comes to gameplay mechanics, Space Marshals fits within the frames of a top-down shooter. However, because your character cannot take much damage before dying you have to use proper tactics in order to succeed. The protagonist can sneak, perform silent kills, use covers, flank opponents, and distract guards using disguises. In combat he uses various weapons, starting from suppressed pistols and all the way to rocket launchers. As a lawman, he does not have to kill all enemies on sight, some of them can be arrested.

This expansion delivers three new story missions available to play in the Survival Mode. The Trauma add-on introduces a new character. Dr. Lingard, who is a medical officer on the Sevastopol Station and feels responsible for letting the Alien on the station. She is tasked with destroying all the data and research findings regarding the deadly fare dodger. On her mission, the woman helps the remaining members of the crew. She has to avoid numerous threats lurking on board of the station. The Survival Mode involves earning points, which are summed up at the end of each level. The player is awarded points for the time they spend playing the game, the “quality” of their playthrough, and additional challenges they managed to complete.

A spin-off entry in the popular Hitman franchise, launched in 2000 by Eidos. Hitman GO has been developed for mobile devices and unlike the full-scale games in the series, it combines elements of stealth, turn-based strategy and puzzles. There doesn't feature a storyline, and the gameplay focuses on missions that come down to eliminating certain people according to Agent 47's contract. We play in turns and have to reach a given point in the level unnoticed, and then discreetly eliminate our target while completing various side objectives on the way. The maps are small, and our actions have to be carefully planned to avoid drawing attention. Game is characterized by its unusual visuals; the in-game locations are presented in the form of paper models, with all characters being represented by pawns that resemble board games figurines.

The so-called “game pack” is located half-way between accessory packs, known from the previous installments, and the classic “big” expansions. The most important aspect of Outdoor Retreat is the new mountainous location called Granite Falls. It's an clean place, where the tired Sims can find respite from the problems of their daily lives. In Granite Falls, they can participate in a range of new activities, such as sleeping in a tent, playing camping games, roasting sausages over a bonfire, and gathering herbs (which also involves a brand new Herbalism skill). There are also several smaller novelties, e.g. the bear costume and the NPC wearing them, who annoys the vacationing Sims.

LEGO Bionicle: Mask of Creaion is set on the Okoto Island, where not only have the Masks of Power gone missing, but also the forces of evil are running rampant. The group of protagonists, consisting of Tahu (the Toa of Fire), Kopaka (the Toa of Ice), Onua (the Toa of Earth), Gali (the Toa of Water), Pohatu (the Toa of Stone), and Lewa (the Toa of Jungle), is forced to try and restore the order and reclaim the Masks. Their mission calls for battling numerous adversaries — in combat, the heroes use various fighting abilities, which give them an advantage over their foes. Interestingly, the game was created as a part of the promotional campaign for the new LEGO Bionicle toy line, and despite it's free-to-play model, it does not feature any microtransactions or ads.

A mobile free-to-play strategy game. It is a spin-off of the cult series of economic simulators developed by EA Maxis. Similarly to the full-fledged entries in the series, the player assumes the role of a mayor of a virtual city. Their task is to secure the expansion of the metropolis and the happiness of its inhabitants while also maintaining the budget. During the game the player is raising new buildings, creating power lines and collecting taxes. The gameplay mechanics are slightly different as building each house requires delivering enough materials produced by factories and commercial buildings. Each decision must be taken with the budget and happiness in mind, and each wrong action can have bad consequences to the whole agglomeration. Additionally, the game is a subject to typical limitations of the free-to-play model – each construction and production process requires the player to wait a specific amount of time.

Paparazzi is a humorous indie 2D arcade game funded on Kickstarter. A rivalry between a famous celebrity and a snappish paparazzo is the main theme of the game that takes place in a fictional city of Follywood. In terms of mechanics, Paparazzi is a typical cat-and-mouse game where our reflexes and concentration matter the most. Gameplay focuses on rivalry of two players in local multiplayer mode. As a paparazzo, we use our camera to make the most embarrassing picture of a celebrity in order to get more money from our employer. As a celebrity, we have to avoid the paparazzo's camera by sneaking between the buildings and hiding in the crowd. if our celebrity's status is really undermined, we can restore it by getting more fans. If we play as a celebrity, we win if our status is higher than the price the paparazzo would ger for our picture. Same goes for playing as a paparazzo - we win if the price for our picture is higher than the celebrity's status.

Depending on the color and the type of the connected tiles, we charge various attacks that enable us to deprive our enemy of health points. As a reward for wins, the players receive experience points and coins. Both items enable us to develop our account and unlock useful abilities, acquire equipment (e.g. weapons, pieces of clothing, helmets), or upgrade the boat used to move around the game world.

As the game progresses one will upgrade his weapons, armor and space ship. From time to time the player can find the remains of alien civilizations and powerful artifacts that increase the team’s combat effectiveness.

Pokemon Shuffle is a free-to-play match-3 game with optional microtransactions. We play as a pokemon trainer who duels wild pocket monsters. if we win, the pokemon we have defeated is added to our collection. Gameplay focuses on aligning three or more elements of the same kind into horizontal and vertical lines. We move small squares with pokemon icons around a small board. In order to attack, we have to align at least three pokemon icons of the same type (i.e. three Pikachus will create an electric attack). The more we use one pokemon, the stronger it gets. However, we have to remember we only have a limited number of moves to use in battle. If we use them all before winning, we automatically loose. Our enemies also have strengths and weaknesses, so it is advisable to plan ahead before battle.

The Horus Heresy: Drop assault is a free-to-play game, which takes the player to the times of the titular Horus Heresy – a long military uprising, which resulted in the deaths of millions of people. Gameplay takes place on two layers – the first one comes down to gathering resources and expanding one’s base by erecting new structures, conducting research, and creating defensive structures. The second layer revolves around the military – the player has to train their army and send the troops to battle in order to conquer the neighboring territories as well as bases belonging to other players (it is also worth considering to form strategic alliances with some players) or the AI. Unlike Clash of Clans, in The Horus Heresy: Drop Assault, the player can move his fighting units with fewer limitations. Both factions fighting the war – forces of the Emperor of Mankind and the rebels supporting Warmaster Horus – offer unique structures, technologies, and units, all of which makes for a diversified and interesting game.

In order to achieve the goal, the players must most of all survive the confrontation with numerous opponents and occasionally-appearing powerful bosses against which they can use various melee weapons and guns. During the game the players must avoid various traps and solve occasional riddles.

A legal adventure game inspired by the works of J.J. Grandville, a French caricaturist. It was developed by the independent studio Sketchy Logic Games. The action of Aviary Attorney is set in an alternative version of the 19th-century Paris inhabited by humanoid animals. It tells the story of two characters: a falcon lawyer named Jayjay Falcon and his assistant, a sparrow by the name of Sparrowson, who try to clear their clients of charges during subsequent trials. As far as gameplay mechanics are concerned, Aviary Attorney draws a lot of inspiration from the Ace Attorney series for Nintendo consoles. Each case is therefore divided into two parts: first, questioning witnesses and gathering evidence, and then using the acquired knowledge in the court. The game’s visuals are based on 19th-century illustrations and works of Grandville himself – they were scanned and supplemented with numerous animations.

A debut production of the independent studio Dim Bulb Games set up by Johnnemann Nordhagen – the gaming industry veteran who has worked on e.g. BioShock 2. The title is set in American folklore, and the plot focuses on traveling and the stories connected with it. During gameplay, you interact with other voyagers and diverse communities, like migrants from Europe, native Americans, and black slaves. The title depicts both the romantic picture of a drifter and the tragedy of people forced to leave their homes, which provokes to thinking about matters rarely brought up by games. The works of Mark Twain, Jack Kerouac, and John Steinbeck served as the source of inspiration. The world you get to explore is open, surreal, and partially three dimensional. The characteristic style is provided by the artist named Kellan Jett.

A first-person action-adventure title released in episodic form. It is a mobile game adaptation of the Sons of Anarchy TV series, which tells the story of the titular biker gang. It is the work of Orpheus Interactive studio, which cooperated with Kurt Sutter, one of the creators of the original. We play as a criminalist who decides to join Sons of Anarchy, a task anything but easy – first we must clear a peculiar training that requires taking part in more and more dangerous challenges, many of which test our motorcycling skills. Before we are done with that, we will also have to take moral choices that will shape the story and its finale. Sons of Anarchy: The Prospect uses three-dimensional visuals with cel-shading technology. Warning: the mobile port of the game has been put on hold.

A unique action-adventure game, whose main theme is climbing. The title was developed by Ubisoft Reflections, the studio known for such productions as The Crew, the Driver series, or the classic Destruction Derby. You play as a robot named BUD, whose job is to traverse the galaxy in search for new plant species. During one of his journeys he arrives to a region consisting of multiple floating islands. Fortunately, a fast-growing plant helps him get around this fragmented world. The protagonist can affect the direction of the plant’s growth in order to make bridges across the islands. Gameplay is based on an elaborate climbing system, which lets you control each of the hero’s limbs separately, therefore he can grab almost any element of environment. The game sports fully 3D graphics with simple, yet attractive artwork full of bright pastel colors.

An unusual action adventure game developed by an independent Swedish studio Forgotten Key. The player assumes the role of a shapeshifter girl named Auk, who travels through a surrealistic world in search for memories and pieces of an ancient prophecy. The protagonist is able to transform into a bird and is tasked with helping her kin by gathering resources and discovering ancient technology. Further in the game she discovers pieces of an ancient prophecy related to the end of the world and learns about her place in the story. The action is presented with a third-person perspective and exploration is the key aspect of the game – both on the surface and in the air, as a bird. The unique ability enables the girl to discover various areas of the world that consist of flying islands. During the game the player can encounter other shapeshifters and face various monsters.

Ziggurat is a dungeon crawler with roguelike and action game elements developed by Milkstone. We play as a neophyte wizard who enters the titular ziggurat in order to prove his worth and earn the right to be called a powerful sorcerer. We will have to explore the building's many rooms, where we will encounter all kinds of enemies and traps. Our hero uses three types of magic: blue, orange, and green. Each of them is represented by spell books, staves, and objects we can simply throw. Each type of magic has its own energy bar which we can restore only by defeating enemies that use that exact type of magic. Like in many roguelike games, death is permanent in Ziggurat. However, when we start all over again, we get all the bonuses we've unlocked in our previous playthrough. There are twelve other playable characters to unlock, i.e. Shaman, Alchemist, Acrobat, Bard, or Vampire. The game features high-quality visuals. The levels we explore in Ziggurat are generated procedurally, making each playthrough a completely unique experience.

An expansion for the 2013’s grand strategy game, Europa Universalis IV. The developers introduced a number of additional tools that allow the players to manage their nation and influence its further development and fate. One of the most noteworthy elements is the possibility of increasing influence in the Merchant Republic by establishing trading posts and using the factions’ internal conflicts in the course of the new election events. The expansion also offers a new government system, republican dictatorship, and a new faction system that allows us to gain valuable bonuses. Moreover, the novelties include the ability to support heirs in elective monarchies and the new option of spending points on administrative, diplomatic, and military affairs. The add-on comes with a set of previously unavailable historical events that make for the action’s background.

A unique adventure game from independent studio Tale of Tales, set in 1972 in a fictional South American metropolis. We play as Angela Burnes – a maid hired by a influential business tycoon Gabriel Ortega. Every evening she cleans the millionaire’s house and then snoops around his private things, soon she discovers a wide-scale plot to overthrow the military regime that rules the country. What role will Miss Burnes play in this intrigue depends entirely on player’s actions. Sunset uses first-person perspective as we fulfill not only basic objectives, but also side activities that let us discover more of the plot. Building better or worse relationship with our boss is crucial – Ortega will react to our actions, leaving us letters or notes. Gameplay is complemented by simple, but climatic visuals created with Unity engine.
