Action, Remaster/remake, Singleplayer, TPP.
A remastered edition of a cult 3D action adventure game by Michael Ancel, the creator of the Rayman franchise. Beyond Good & Evil HD introduces a bunch of improvements, mainly connected to the audiovisual layer of the production, developed with PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in mind. Although the HD version is powered by the original’s graphics engine, the developers also increased the screen resolution to match the Full HD standard (1080p), improved character models and textures, and remastered the soundtrack. The game’s contents remains unchanged — yet again, we assume the role of a young reporter named Jade who tries to save her homeworld, Hyllis, from alien invaders and a governmental plot. To do so, she embarks on a journey through a colorful, varied world, visiting many interesting places, fighting opponents, overcoming obstacles, solving puzzles, and taking photos of rare species. Beyond Good & Evil gained substantial acclaim thanks to its interesting story and enthralling gameplay.

The first DLC expansion for 2010's Castlevania: Lords of Shadow. The Reverie expansion is set between the ending and the epilogue of the core game. The player once again assumes the role of Gabriel Belmont, who decides to help the Queen of Vampires by the name of Laura - a former subordinate of Carmilla, whom Gabriel defeated in the base game. Both the characters set out for a dangerous journey, during which they encounter powerful, dark forces awakened after the defeat of Lords of Shadow. What was not the case in the core game, is an opportunity to play as a different character - the expansion puts the player in the shoes of Laura as well. Contrary to the base game featuring real-time cutscenes, the expansion offers an impressive equivalent in the form of an animated comic strip.

The gameplay consists mostly of exploring of open locations, fighting the encountered enemies, as well as developing the protagonist by gaining new abilities and equipment. Additionally, EverQuest features both main quests and a multitude of side quests.

Like a proper warrior from the Land of the Rising Sun, his weapon of choice is a samurai sword. He also uses shurikens and other typical Japanese weaponry, as well as more modern equipment, such as Uzis, shotguns, rocket and grenade launchers. Lo Wang faces his opponents in 3D surroundings, which are more advanced than those in Duke Nukem 3D—for example, the buildings are multi-storied now.
