A real-time strategy game developed by Best Way. The action of the game takes place in the World War II Europe, while the player assumes the role of a commander of a group of soldiers. Our job is to get through 25 varied missions, in which we control infantry and as mechanized units. The game is characteristic for its original mechanic that enables the player to take direct control over a given unit – a well-aimed shot can disable a tank by tearing its tracks, while soldiers can be hurt or killed through efficient aiming. Soldiers: Heroes of World War II also employs advanced AI modules (the soldiers can scour the area, or encircle the enemy), and detailed 3D graphics, as well as destructible environments.

The sixth major installment in the highly popular series of economical strategies started in 1993 by Blue Byte. After the very innovative fifth installment, the developers decided to go back to the good old solutions and only improve them with some new features. The general premise of the game hasn’t changed - the player is still tasked with controlling a small village and transforming it into a modern, well-fortified metropolis. The key to success is creating an efficient production chain that will guarantee a steady flow of resources, food etc. It is also required to create a strong army that will provide protection from potential invaders. Among the new features there are new characters whose special abilities provide bonuses during the game. It is worth noting that there are no geologists anymore and the player no longer needs to create paths – now they are generated automatically.

You lead a party consisting of such characters as Robin Hood himself, Little John, Friar Tuck or the beautiful Maid Marian, and each of them has their own unique abilities. The mechanics are similar to those from the Commandos series or the already mentioned Desperados: Wanted Dead or Alive, and during the 40 non-linear missions, linked with an interesting plot, you complete various tasks, from infiltration, through saving your companions, to classic attacks (such as e.g. capturing a caravan) and laying siege to a fortress.

When a help request is sent from the headquarters of a government agency known as S.H.I.E.L.D., the greatest heroes arrive to remedy the situation, among them Captain America, Spider-Man, Thor, Blade, Wolverine, the Thing, and Ghost Rider. Before each level, the player gathers a team capable of completing the objective. Then, they begin to exterminate the enemies, and ending the level with a boss fight. The game offers an extensive combat system and the player makes use of various famous abilities of their chosen superheros. As the player progresses, they can upgrade the superheros' costumes in order for them to acquire different, useful combat abilities.

A remastered version of the second installment of the popular BioShock series that was initially released in 2010 for PC and the 7th-generation consoles. In the game, we are once again taken to the underwater city of Rapture, featured in the original BioShock, and the gameplay is focused on exploration, solving puzzles, and fighting encountered hostiles. 2K Games, which remastered the title, focused solely on the single player campaign and therefore BioShock 2 doesn’t feature the multiplayer mode that was present in the original edition. The lack of it is compensated by a completely new mode called The Protector Trials — it is a set of challenges that are intended to test the player’s combat skills. In comparison with the original, the remastered version boasts enhanced textures and a native support of the 4K resolution. Thanks to that, the three-dimensional game powered by Unreal Engine still looks good despite its age.

Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom is the next installment in the jRPG series developed by Level 5. Young king Evan Pettiwhisker Tildrum is the game's protagonist. Things got much more complicated when the city of Ding Dong Dell was faced with the danger that threatens the entire world. Our heroes have no other choice than to face it. Just like in the previous game, gameplay in Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom focuses on the exploration of the game's vast world, doing many various main and side quests, recruiting new team mates, and fighting with the encountered enemies. In combat, we can switch between our party members to use their individual abilities anytime we want to. Once again Higgledies play an important role in battles. They can draw our enemies' attention and aid us in battle by giving us powers to control various elements. A new system that allows us to create our own kingdom was introduced in Ni no Kuni II. The game features colorful visuals, visibly inspired by the Ghibli animated movies.

Turn-based combat is an integral part of the gameplay. To win a battle, we have to adequately develop our character and adjust our equipment accordingly.

The protagonist is one of the defiant citizens who are resistant to the system. In order to survive in the surrounding world, he must observe it thoroughly and understand its rules. The action is shown from first-person perspective and the gameplay is focused on exploration, and gathering various items and using them. While doing it, players must behave according to the social norms so that other citizens don’t become suspicious. The world of the game was characteristically exaggerated, but the game tells about many very important topics.

We still receive a dynamic action game with RPG features, with its story taking place three years after the previous installment. We traverse the land as a nameless hero and eliminate large beasts. An arcade battle system stresses out on player’s reflexes, and it is well-advised to come with proper tactic before facing enemies. Each of them has different strong and weak points, finding which is the key to success. Heroes can use a vast arsenal of giant weapons, tied to certain combat styles and tactic. Aside from single player campaign, God Eater 2: Rage Burst offers cooperation mode for three players.
