A detective adventure game from the visual novel genre. It was developed by Japan studio Spike Chunsoft. The main protagonist of Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc, Naegi Makoto, is a teenager who starts his education in an elite high school. In contrast to his colleagues, he has no remarkable achievements and he was accepted to the school by winning a lottery. Soon after the school year starts, Makoto and a group of other students are trapped inside the school building and a digitally-controlled mascot informs them that, in order to escape from the trap, one of them must murder someone else in such way that it will be impossible to find out who is guilty. The game is divided into three separate phases. First the player speaks with selected students, builds relations and learns interesting facts. When the murder happens, the player is tasked with gathering evidence and testimonies. Finally the action moves to a court room where during a trial one must find out who the murderer is through a series of minigames.

A two-dimensional shooter which takes place in the gangster underworld during the 20s. The game was developed by a small Belgium studio Crazy Monkey. In the title the player assumes the role of a gangster whose family terrorizes the streets. However, trouble begins when a rival mafia appears in the city. What’s worse, hordes of zombies are conquering the streets. The protagonist of the game hits the streets equipped with various weapons – from Molotov Cocktails, through machetes, pistols and rifles, to flamethrowers – in order to face the increasing threat. The gameplay of the game focuses on eliminating waves of enemies in various locations placed in open and closed areas. Bonuses hidden on the map provide additional motivation – they allow us to upgrade our weapons and unlock new game modes. The graphics of the game consists of comic book-like, hand drawn graphics and cartoonish cutscenes.

The artificial intelligence was also enhanced, while the game is easier to play thanks to the clear interface.

The mechanics follow in the original title’s footsteps and feature a characteristic combat system based on the use of a flashlight. The developers introduced a new, arcade game mode, Fight Till Dawn, in which you battle waves of opponents, and your score is displayed in a special online ranking.

Third entry in the highly-rated Disciples series, started in 1999 by the Strategy First studio. The new game comes not only with a new publisher, but also a new producer – a rather unknown studio of .dat, previously part of Akella corporation. Once again we are taken to the universe of Nevendaar, where the forces of good and evil clash. The developers prepared three playable factions: we can play as Empire, Legions of the Damned or Elven Alliance. The gameplay itself remained the same as in previous games – we still get a turn-based strategy resembling the cult-classic Heroes of Might and Magic series. There are some RPG features implemented though, and battles have been modified (e.g. by adding the option of moving our troops). The most obvious novelty is a transition to full 3D graphics, thanks to the proprietary Virtual Dream engine.

Gameplay is supplemented with a crafting system, allowing you to combine the items you find into useful tools. The game features atmospheric, cartoonish graphics, and soundtrack composed by highly regarded alternative musician Chuck Regan.

Story Mode is made of a series of missions during which Luffy visits many places and meets characters known from the original manga. Like in every proper hack-and-slash, combat is the game's primary objective. We take part in epic battles with tons of enemies during which we use various cold steel weapons and magic. From time to time we will have to fight bosses, which will require from us a more tactical approach.

Sea of Solitude stands out with its original graphics, resembling an animated motion picture. The colorful, beautiful graphics generated by UbiArt Framework are a valuable asset to the game. Colorful locations are accompanied by neatly-animated characters and a catchy soundtrack.
