The largest change introduced since the original release lies in the improved visuals, now supporting 4K resolution and using updated textures. Apart from that, BioShock Remastered offers all the contents of the original release. The player is taken to Rapture - an underwater metropolis where they will fight aggressive mutants and discover the gloomy history behind this extraordinary place. The player explores atmospheric locations, solves environmental puzzles, fights the enemies encountered and develops the protagonist's abilities. The last aspect is linked with moral choices which affect how the entire story ends. In combat, the player makes use of firearms, melee weapons, as well as special powers acquired through DNA modifications.

In case of confrontation one can eliminate the opponent with fists or by using gunfire taken from the guard.

The mechanics are based on Dune II, although the tactical layer and the AI have been significantly improved. The game is complimented by cinematic cut scenes, which comprise a 40-minute FMV. VTM: Bloodlines is set in an alternative version of the modern Los Angeles, where seven vampire clans fight each other constantly. The protagonist tries to become an important figure in one such community, making use of unique abilities, such as invisibility, superhuman speed or mind control. As the main character gains experience, these abilities can be additionally developed. The player explores the virtual environment, talks to NPCs and fights enemies. In combat, the player makes use of up to twelve vampiric abilities and a wide variety of conventional weapons. The high-quality visuals were delivered thanks to the Source engine, a technology created by Valve for the purpose of running Half-Life 2.

A standalone expansion for Total War: SHOGUN 2 strategy game and a part of the Total War series by Creative Assembly. The add-on offers a new campaign set in the Empire of Japan in times of the civil war between the Emperor’s supporters and the last shogunate. The player can side with either faction, each of which is represented by six families. At the same time, it is a conflict between the traditional Japanese samurai culture and the modern firearms-based army. Technological advancement of our faction and the available units are largely dependent on our relations with overseas superpowers. Total War: SHOGUN 2 - Fall Of The Samurai offers an expanded campaign map, railway transportation, additional units and agents, and a new kind of battle: port siege. The introduction of firearms, especially the Gatling gun, is also a great innovation. Apart from the aforementioned campaign, the expansion comes with 4 historical battles and an updated multiplayer mode.

Doom 3: BFG Edition features improved visuals with upgraded texture quality and supports both the stereoscopic 3D and 5.1 surround sound technologies. Having console players in mind, the creators rebuilt both the controls and the system of checkpoints. Additionally, Doom 3: BFG Edition contains both the 1993's Doom and 1994's Doom II.

Heroes of Might and Magic II: The Succession Wars is set several years after the events depicted in the original game. When the ruler of Enroth, Lord Morglin Ironfist dies, a conflict over the throne breaks out between his sons. The player is given a choice, whether to fight for Roland's rebellion (he got banished from the kingdom) or stay loyal to Archibald, who considers himself the rightful heir to the throne. The gameplay formula has not changed significantly, but the creators introduced several novelties and improvements. The four hero classes from the original game were supplemented by a necromancer and a wizard, along with castles characteristic for these new classes and new creatures. Also, the second installment expands the list of skills available to heroes and introduces modifications to the system behind the use of spells. Additionally, the player is now capable of upgrading their units.
