The players take on the roles of professional wrestlers from NXT and WWE leagues, and take part in encounters in the ring. A series of improvements were introduced into the combat system - above all, the wrestlers can perform more moves now. Fighting is not all about exchange of attacks, as the player often brings the opponent down, throws them at the mat, or even out of the ring, in order to continue the fight closer to the audience or in the backstage. Among the available wrestlers, one will find Seth Rollins (depicted on the game's cover), Chris Jericho, Andre The Giant, John Cena, The Rock or the Bella sisters. WWE 2K18 offers plenty of game modes, both single player and multiplayer ones. MyCareer is the most important of them, as the player leads a wrestler of their choice to fame and money through subsequent victories.

A refreshed and improved version of Age of Empires III, a game from 2005 that was the third installment in the series of best-selling real-time strategy games. The new version was developed by Forgotten Empires, a studio that also created remastered editions of the first and second games in the series. Most of the changes are related to the graphics and interface – they were adapted to modern computers and displays. This enabled the game to support 4K resolution. In comparison to the original game, the gameplay mechanics of Age of Empires III: Definite Edition remained unchanged. The game still focuses on managing a settlement by gathering resources, constructing new buildings, discovering new areas of the map and leading selected nation through various ages. Fighting enemy is an important aspect of the game – the battles are fought by infantry, cavalry, siege machines and powerful artillery. In addition to a single-player mode, the game features advanced multiplayer mode.

Apart from the locations included in the base game, the player visits several new, snow-covered areas. Interestingly, the player is given the second chance to recruit a Mabari war hound, which can be useful if they had missed that opportunity in the early phase of playing the core game.

Apart from the aforementioned prison, the expansion introduces several other areas, including vast wastelands. We will encounter a few new beasts on our travels, such as brontos or genlock alphas that hide behind giant shields. Beside the main storyline, Dragon Age II: Legacy offers side quests as well as previously unknown armor sets and special weapons that can be customized.

In the background, the players will get to experience behind-the-scene schemes at the top of Helghan Administration and a coup that might bring about catastrophic consequence for both sides of the conflict. Killzone 3 features very diverse missions, in which a player is not limited to elimination of enemies all guns blazing – also, one gets to operate various vehicles, assume the stealth approach and take down enemies by surprise, as well as travel to an orbital station and shoot at enemies from a space fighter. The game delivers improved weapon handling, diverse weaponry, and upgraded cover mechanics.

Just as in the case of its predecessor, the core of Stronghold Legends: Steam Edition consists of three single-player campaigns, during which we step into the shoes of King Arthur, Siegfried and Vlad Dracula. In contrast to the main series, the game focuses on the typical RTS aspects, simplifying the economic and administrative elements. In addition to the classic units, magical and flying troops will also appear on the battlefield - we therefore will get to experience skirmishes with werewolves, ice giants, and even dragons and spellcasters. The Glory Points are a new resource awarded to the player upon emerging victorious in a battle. The game also features a highly competitive multiplayer mode. The developers managed to improve the overall quality of the visuals, which is primarily reflected by the greater detail of textures and improved lighting.

A turn-based RPG focusing strongly on strategic aspects and created by Pixelated Milk - a Polish developer. The player is taken to a peaceful fantasy world and assumes the role of Kay Loren - a young nobleman whose father reveals on his deathbed the existence of a distant land belonging to their family. Once the protagonist arrives in the place, it turns out that the entire land is ruined and the family was charged with a large debt. Kay decides to restore the ruined city to its magnificent state and take back the neighboring areas from the wildlife occupying them. The player's tasks are to construct buildings, gather resources, develop technologies and manage the land appropriately, so it can generate adequate amounts of money. Exploration, completing quests given by NPCs and turn-based combat are all of high importance here. The protagonist can be accompanied by four other characters with unique abilities, which can be developed alongside progression.

What’s worse, hordes of zombies are conquering the streets. The protagonist of the game hits the streets equipped with various weapons – from Molotov Cocktails, through machetes, pistols and rifles, to flamethrowers – in order to face the increasing threat. The gameplay of the game focuses on eliminating waves of enemies in various locations placed in open and closed areas. Bonuses hidden on the map provide additional motivation – they allow us to upgrade our weapons and unlock new game modes. The graphics of the game consists of comic book-like, hand drawn graphics and cartoonish cutscenes.

The gameplay is pushed forward by a system of buying and upgrading tanks, which can be optimized for certain situations by equipping them with engines, additional armor, and weaponry. The individual abilities of the crew also play their part.

Our task in this game is to create a deadly virus and find a way to spread it around the entire world. Our actions meet with the reaction of authorities trying to stop the development of plague, forcing us to act quickly and thoughtfully to remain one step ahead of the defense systems prepared by humanity. Compared to the original, visuals have been visibly enhanced, adding features like coverage of people fighting the outbreak or scans of human body that show mutations caused by the virus. The game features also multiplayer options, where we try to develop a pandemic in cooperation with other players, or compete to see who will destroy the human population first.

The 9th main entry in a classic jRPG series, originally released in 2000 on PlayStation console, and ported to PC ten year later. After a few games featuring slightly cyberpunkish settings, Final Fantasy IX returns to the roots of the series, where we are once again met by knights, princesses, and dragons. Players take the role of a young thief, who, together with a company of other heroes, faces the evil queen Brahna, who is responsible for the outbreak of a great war. However, as it turns out, the queen has been nothing more than a pawn in the hands of a much more dangerous enemy. In terms of game mechanics, the game is a combination of proven solutions with some limited innovations, such as a redesigned profession system or ATE mode (Active Time Event), which allows us to see what other team members are doing, give access to numerous side quests and a chance to collect various useful items.

The gameplay focuses on online battles between small groups of players controlling characters belonging to different available classes, each having distinctive weapons and four unique skills. The battles are very fast-paced in any of the several different game modes. The most important is the Siege, in which a great siege engine appears on the battlefield. Furthermore, the game diversifies the experience by adding elements of card games - the players can build card decks. The cards can provide a character with different bonuses, and three of them, selected at random, are available to use during a match.

As this is a survival game with an open world, in order to stay alive you will have to secure food, water supplies, as well as means to treat wounds or protect you from predators and changing weather conditions, because hypothermia can quickly put an end to the hero’s life. The game features a crafting system along with procedurally generated items that will help you survive and eventually leave the island. The game features both single and multiplayer modes.

Earth Defense Force 4.1: The Shadow of New Despair is a remastered version of the dynamic action game Earth Defense Force 2025. In Earth Defense Force 4.1: The Shadow of New Despair we play as a member of the titular organization that protects our planter from the invading species from space, just like in the previous games from the series. The game takes place in 2025, when Earth is once again attacked by the insectoid alien invaders. Before we can face them, we have to choose one from a couple of available classes, like the universal infantry soldier, air strike specialist or the heavy arms expert. No matter what class we decide to play as, we have a wide array of weapons at our disposal. Even though we cannot control them directly, tanks, helicopters, and mechs aid us in battle. The game focuses on fighting creatures that look like overgrown ants, hornets, even dragons, or armored vehicles. Along with the single player campaign, Earth Defense Force 4.1: The Shadow of New Despair offers multiplayer cooperative missions.

An episodic adventure game set in a post-apocalyptic world. It was developed by a Swedish studio Gaming Corps. The player is brought into a world where climate changes and dwindling natural resources led to a global conflict and the destruction of human civilization. However, the last humans survived in underground shelters, where they were supposed to remain in cryogenic chambers until the surface of the Earth becomes inhabitable again. The story is split into two storylines, featuring different characters and separated by hundreds of years. The gameplay consists of exploring different locations, conversations, and making difficult choices which have their consequences even hundreds of years later, in the second scenario. The game also features arcade challenges and occasional puzzles.

An advanced car racing simulation game that came out as sequel to a series launched back in 2005. Just like its predecessor, rFactor 2 was developed by indie studio Image Space Inc., experts at producing car simulations for various motor companies. The players will be given the chance to drive car belonging to several classes: starting from regular passenger cars to Formula 1 racing cars. The game offers several carefully recreated racing circuits. In comparison with the first game, the creators of rFactor 2 implemented a score of improvements and new solutions, including more realistic collisions, a surface grip simulation system - RealRoad, or adjustable weather conditions. Furthermore, the visuals have changed, now powered by a modified gMotor engine.

Fun-oriented cooperative first-person shooter, developed by debuting studio Overkill Software. In the game, we assume the role of hardened criminals, whose task is the execution of various types of stick-ups and heists, for example a bank heist or an attempt to rescue a prisoner from a police transport car. During the action, we have to incapacitate the security, secure the hostages, have somebody on the lookout, and deactivate various types of security measures. The team members can share their ammunition and first-aid kits, support each other in combat, increasing the chances of success of the whole action. If we lack the necessary number of players, AI assumes the roles of the missing gang members. The character development system is also present: during the game, we unlock new weapons and additional useful equipment. Dynamically changing environment and enemies react to our actions bring an element of randomness into the game, making each heist different from the others.
