A multiplayer shooter game played from an aerial view. Foxhole emphasizes logistics-related tasks performed by the players - they have to gather resources, produce and deliver equipment, but also construct defensive structures. Developed by the Canadian studio Clapfoot, the game casts the players in the roles of regular soldiers fighting for one of two factions. The experience was inspired by battles fought during both World Wars. The players' goal is to take over and defend Town Halls located in different towns situated on the map. This goal cannot be achieved without tight cooperation between the comrades. Contrary to most games of this kind, weapons, ammunition and other parts of equipment do not simply appear in the soldiers' pockets - in Foxhole, almost every type of equipment has to be created and transported to a distribution point by some player. As a result, part of one's team fights the enemies, while the other serves the role of support at the same time, gathering resources, producing vehicles or equipment crates, and transporting weapons and ammunition using trucks. Additionally, the players can create automated defensive structures, such as bunkers or turrets, which can slow down the enemy's assault while one's allies are engaged in actions somewhere else.

The most important feature of the gameplay is the development of a secret super base – we build rooms with specific functions while also defending from attacks of law enforcers. We deal with crime fighters by sending out our henchmen, constructing fancy traps and equipping our soldiers with unusual weaponry. All of this is complemented by managing our financial and technological supply base, with our main source of income being more or less complicated missions that throw us to different parts of the world. Evil Genius 2 is the first RTS to use the Asura technology created by the British developers at Rebellion.

A hybrid of a platform and a survival game. The title was developed by two people – Joar Lisberg Jakobsson was the lead programmer and the author of the idea of the game while the music was composed by James Primate. The game takes place in a hostile post-industrial realm filled with complicated machinery. The environment is constantly plagued by downpours and the animals that live in it are forced to hide from the rain in a hibernated state. The main protagonist is Slugcat – a creature that is similar to a cat. It is tasked with gathering enough food to survive the forced resting time. What’s interesting, the ecosystem is filled both with creatures smaller than Slugcat and ones that are much larger. This makes the protagonist the hunter and the prey at the same time. The gameplay concentrates on visiting atmospheric locations, avoiding confrontation with larger predators and avoiding traps and other dangers. Luckily, the unusual protagonist isn’t completely defenseless – he can use a spear that allows him to kill or stun other creatures. Rain World can be played alone or in cooperation mode. An original horror game created by Scott Cawthon, an independent gamemaker. The player assumes the role of a watchman who takes up a seasonal job at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. What is important about the restaurant, is that mechanical mascots are its main attraction. A seemingly easy job turns into a true nightmare during the very first night, when the protagonist discovers that the sympathetic animatronics come to life after dark and display a hostile attitude towards humans. Trapped in a cramped watch room, the protagonist has to avoid contact with murderous robots during five subsequent nights. The task is not easy, because using various devices, such as lighting and monitoring systems, as well as locking the door drains the power supply, which has to be appropriately managed throughout the entire night. Despite its simplistic mechanics, Five Nights at Freddy's provides a good dose of anxiety and is capable of frightening the player with ease.

A post-apocalyptic survival strategy game with RPG elements, created by Polish developer Robot Gentleman Studios. You play as the head of a typical American family, who has to provide for his loved ones in the face of an incoming nuclear war. The game starts 60 seconds before the first explosion, giving you one minute to get to a shelter while grabbing the most essential provisions on the way. In the next phase you have to survive for as long as you can using only the resources you've managed to gather, which often force you to make very tough decisions. Sometimes, you have to decide whose daily rations should be reduced, sometimes how to deal with problems at hand, such as a cockroach infestation. Despite its seemingly grim theme, the game features a rather light-hearted atmosphere, evident e.g. in its comic-like graphics.

Oceanhorn 2 is a sequel to the 2013 action RPG developed by a small Finnish studio Cornfox & Bros. The game takes place in the same fantasy realm as the series' first installment. We play as a young boy who trains very hard to become a Knight of Arcadia. We observe the game from a third-person perspective. Gameplay mechanics in Oceanhorn 2 are visibly inspired by the popular Legend of Zelda series. Oceanhorn 2 places more emphasis on exploration than the original game. We move between the locations by using a typical world map. The game uses an arcade combat system. We can fight with either cold steel weapons or firearms, for example, a pistol. Oceanhorn 2: Knights of the Lost Realm has visibly better visuals than the previous game in the series.
