Oceanhorn 2 is a sequel to the 2013 action RPG developed by a small Finnish studio Cornfox & Bros. The game takes place in the same fantasy realm as the series' first installment. We play as a young boy who trains very hard to become a Knight of Arcadia. We observe the game from a third-person perspective. Gameplay mechanics in Oceanhorn 2 are visibly inspired by the popular Legend of Zelda series. Oceanhorn 2 places more emphasis on exploration than the original game. We move between the locations by using a typical world map. The game uses an arcade combat system. We can fight with either cold steel weapons or firearms, for example, a pistol. Oceanhorn 2: Knights of the Lost Realm has visibly better visuals than the previous game in the series.

In the game, we assume the role of hardened criminals, whose task is the execution of various types of stick-ups and heists, for example a bank heist or an attempt to rescue a prisoner from a police transport car. During the action, we have to incapacitate the security, secure the hostages, have somebody on the lookout, and deactivate various types of security measures. The team members can share their ammunition and first-aid kits, support each other in combat, increasing the chances of success of the whole action. If we lack the necessary number of players, AI assumes the roles of the missing gang members. The character development system is also present: during the game, we unlock new weapons and additional useful equipment. Dynamically changing environment and enemies react to our actions bring an element of randomness into the game, making each heist different from the others.

Second, the player has to set up and develop their porn business - the player produces porn films and extends their studio. In the last part, global expansion begins and the player develops a chain of sex-shops and sends a 24/7 TV broadcast. A model called Lula is the player's main business partner, but one can also hire other actresses and actors. One of the player's tasks is to shoot porn films, which requires them to select appropriate stars and create scenarios. Lula: The Sexy Empire offers two-dimensional graphics, resembling comic books in terms of the visuals. The game features significant erotic content.

A new entry in the popular series of city builders developed by Maxis. In comparison with the previous installments, SimCity 4 offers a wide range of new additions and updates. The governed city is no longer a single entity – we are free to connect different cities into a single metropolis linked by industry, public services, or economic means. Moreover, we are now able to view the citizens of each neighborhood and investigate their views and worries regarding the functioning of the city. Creative players received access to new terraforming tools, enabling us to level hills, choose a terrain type, or introduce water basins. The world itself now features a day and night cycle, as well as fully functional public services such as fire departments. Interestingly enough, the developers have introduced the ability to import characters from The Sims and settle them in the city. SimCity 4 is characterized by much more detailed three-dimensional visuals and a new user-friendly interface.

The Settlers II: 10th Anniversary is a modern remake of the most popular installment of the cult strategy series The Settlers, released as the celebration of the game's tenth anniversary. Developers from Blue Byte studio created a new 10 mission campaign where we lead Romans who seek new lands in order to restore the fallen Empire. Our job is to systematically develop our country by building more and more outhouses and residential and military buildings that will provide us with resources, food, and soldiers. The game also offers a multiplayer mode for up to six players. The remastered version of The Settlers II uses the same engine as the fifth game in the series, though the developers managed to keep the fairy tale-like atmosphere of the original game. Models of all buildings and settlers are based on their original design. In order to enrich the game, some new features were introduced.

A side project of Rockstar North studio, created as an exclusive for those who own Sony’s gaming platform. The game takes us to the 70's - the Cold War - during the escalation of the tensions between two superpowers: Soviet Union and the USA. We play as a spy drawn into a complex scheme unfolding on both sides of the iron curtain that might greatly affect the political status quo. However, our actions require a vast amount of caution, since even a slightest incident or inconsiderate move can lead to the outbreak of World War III. Agent is a member of the popular TPP action game genre, while at the same time possessing some features of a stealth game. The developers have managed to combine the classic features of the Grand Theft Auto series (freely explorable open-world environment) with many solutions that exceed typical action games premises.

In SWAT 4: The Stetchkov Syndicate, there are seven new missions to play, both in single- and multiplayer mode. In the latter, two 5-member teams fight against one another. Moreover, the expansion introduces a new multiplayer gameplay mode: Smash & Grab. Another big novelty is the built-in voice communication system. The developers at Irrational Games also enhanced the command system by implementing a team leader feature and created a global ranking for multiplayer. The add-on comes with a wider selection of weapons and gadgets that can be used by both SWAT teams and criminals.

Going from the year 4000 B.C. up to the distant future, the player can lead one of the 21 playable nations to its glory. Unlike its predecessor, the sequel allows the player to modify the rules of the game, like choosing the opponent, setting victory conditions, or changing the shape of the world. Also, there are two scenarios available: one set in the times of the Roman Empire and the other during the Second World War period. The civilization's development begins with the establishment of a settlement, its gradual expansion and the production of military and civil units. Subsequently, the player chooses the form of government and diplomacy, trade, technological investment and so on. Victory can be achieved in many ways: eliminating all opponents, cultural domination, or sending a colony spaceship to Alpha Centauri. The game comes with a map editor.

An unusual spin-off to the legendary Tomb Raider series. The game was developed by Crystal Dynamics - the creators of the franchise's latest installments. The game follows the adventures of a beautiful female archeologist and her friend - a Mayan warrior by the name of Totec. The characters set out for a journey, searching for a mysterious artifact known as Mirror of Smoke, which is to be used against the evil Xolotl, who has gained the power to control other spirits. Contrary to the third-person perspective the Tomb Raider games are usually played in, the spin-off is an isometric game resembling hack'n'slash titles in this aspect. The gameplay focuses on arcade elements and combat sequences, in which the player encounters hordes of ghosts - a special emphasis was placed on cooperation. The two characters have different abilities, therefore, close cooperation is the key to success. However, it is also worth mentioning that the game features elements which could be considered hallmarks of the Tomb Raider series as well, such as exploration of tombs and catacombs.

Vanquish is a futuristic third-person shooter developed by the Japanese studio PlatinumGames. The game takes place in a distant future where the Earth's natural resources are running low and two main world powers are fighting for what is left of them. When the Russians attack an American space station, USA sends a special forces unit to retake it. We play as a member of that unit. In terms of mechanics, Vanquish is a dynamic and eye-catching shooter where gameplay is based on eliminating enemy forces. When facing them, our protagonist can rely on his state-of-the-art combat suit that grants him superhuman strength and speed. That allows him to carry three types of weapons, grenades, and explosives with him. The game's cover system also comes in handy. Additionally, bullet time trigger automatically when we take heavy damage.

As you can see, the creators specialized in this type of productions, so during the game we will often feel the shivers running on our backs.

Robin Hood: The Legend of Sherwood takes place in the medieval England and its story focuses on the most famous outlaw in history and his fight for honor and justice against the local authorities. You lead a party consisting of such characters as Robin Hood himself, Little John, Friar Tuck or the beautiful Maid Marian, and each of them has their own unique abilities. The mechanics are similar to those from the Commandos series or the already mentioned Desperados: Wanted Dead or Alive, and during the 40 non-linear missions, linked with an interesting plot, you complete various tasks, from infiltration, through saving your companions, to classic attacks (such as e.g. capturing a caravan) and laying siege to a fortress.

Enlargement makes it possible to look at fictitious events from the Cold War period from the other side. Developers from Massive Entertainment studio have prepared a campaign in which the player plays as a Soviet soldier. Plugin also introduces some new units and maps to multiplayer game.
