It is an improved and enhanced version of its 2003 predecessor, expanded with patches, expansions and additions. In addition to having better graphics, based on the improved engine from Unreal Tournament 2003, and a new user interface, Unreal Tournament 2004 adds two new game modes: the Assault Mode from the first game and Onslaught Mode based on the similar mode from Battlefield 1942. There are nine vehicle types in Unreal Tournament 2004 and the list of available weapons was expanded. There are 20 completely new maps for the modes known from the previous game in the series. The game introduces a special system for voice communication between players and the Unreal TV that allows hundreds of spectators to watch the matches.

The action of StarCraft: Brood War takes place after the events of the base game. Even though the Overmind has been destroyed, the Zerg still pose a threat, and a new danger emerges. The central character of the expansion, around whom most of the story revolves, is Sarah Kerrigan – a Terran infected by the Zerg. She became the most powerful Overmind – the Zerg Queen. The expansion offers three campaigns, one for each races – the Terrans, the Protoss, and the Zerg. All races received a few new units and modifications. Brood War introduces additional types of terrain – twilight, ice, and desert – making levels more diverse. Moreover, the expansion enriches multiplayer with 150 new levels.

The sixth major installment in the highly popular series of economical strategies started in 1993 by Blue Byte. After the very innovative fifth installment, the developers decided to go back to the good old solutions and only improve them with some new features. The general premise of the game hasn’t changed - the player is still tasked with controlling a small village and transforming it into a modern, well-fortified metropolis. The key to success is creating an efficient production chain that will guarantee a steady flow of resources, food etc. It is also required to create a strong army that will provide protection from potential invaders. Among the new features there are new characters whose special abilities provide bonuses during the game. It is worth noting that there are no geologists anymore and the player no longer needs to create paths – now they are generated automatically.

During the gameplay, we assume the role of a lone man called Monkey, who gets imprisoned by the machines ruling the world. He manages to escape along with a young woman called Trip. After the escape, the duo is forced to rely only on themselves. Although in the beginning they cannot stand each other, over time they establish a specific relationship. In Enslaved: Odyssey to the West, we fight with pursuing machines and solve puzzles, while the protagonist duo complements each other. Monkey specializes mainly in fighting, while Trip is useful in situations requiring cleverness and intelligence. She can also hack computers and squeeze through narrow passages, which are impassable for her companion.

First-person shooter with stealth elements developed by Rebellion (the creators of the Aliens vs. Predator video game series). Rogue Warrior is set in the middle of the Cold War. The player assumes the role of Richard Marcinko, a famous Navy SEALs veteran, voiced by Mickey Rourke, an actor known from Sin City. The protagonist is sent to North Korea with a secret mission. Due to the nature of his task, the hero should try his best to keep low profile and eliminate enemies quietly. Such kills are shown as brutal finishers. In situations when stealth tactics are no longer valid the game turns into a classic FPP shooter with a cover system similar to Gears of War. Missions are usually set in military compounds and factories, so there is a lot of close-quarter combat. The main game mode in Rogue Warrior is story-based single player campaign, which consists of a string of linear missions. Apart from that, the developers also prepared competitive multiplayer.
