A third-person action game featuring roguelike elements. After the Shadowgrounds series, it is the second major game developed by Harebrained Schemes, an independent American studio. Necropolis is set in a vast, magical, procedurally generated dungeon complex that constantly changes its shape. We play as a daredevil who vows to discover the secrets of the place and defeat the sorcerer who rules the complex and the intelligence he created, which feeds on the souls of those unfortunate enough to fall in its clutches. When it comes to the gameplay, it is an action game at its core; with a demanding combat system requiring good timing and identification of the enemy's weaknesses. We can increase our chances by the use of magical potions brewed from the ingredients we find in the dungeon. We can also take advantage of mystical spell books and runes. The game does not lack humor and features an original graphical design with relatively simple 3D models of characters and objects.

During the game, we gather supplies and conduct diplomacy, while the success of each journey depends on such factors as the ship’s equipment or the composition of the crew, which includes various people with unique backstories and personalities. In the game, the players assume the role of a warrior of their choosing and fight against opponent controlled by either another player or by the AI. The game offers a wide choice of playable characters. Some of them return from previous entries in The King of Fighters series, but their fighting style was adapted to new gameplay mechanics that uses three-dimensional environment. The game itself focuses on performing attacks and combining them into combos while avoiding enemy blows. The plot of the expansion, called Road to Boruto, goes beyond the original manga and animated series, drawing from side entries such as Boruto: Naruto the Movie, a full-length animated movie, and the comic series Boruto: Naruto Next Generations. As a result, we can relive the events that took place after the conclusion of the Naruto Shippuden series, and take control of completely new characters, which are a part of the next generation of ninja warriors (many of them are the children of the well-known heroes). The expansion doesn’t change the game mechanics in any way, focusing on introducing a new storyline and previously unknown characters such as titular Boruto (son of Naruto) or Sarada (daughter of Sasuke and Sakura). Aside from that, the Hidden Leaf Village received new locations to explore.

In the game, referred to as “two dimensional Minecraft”, we are given the ability to shape a randomly generated world without restrictions and to create a number of useful tools, utility objects and structures via its crafting system. Terraria 2 has a similar, old-school layout and similar mechanics as the original, but the game features also a huge number of changes and innovations that were not implemented by the author in the first installment of the series. First of all, players were given an infinite number of worlds at their disposal, each representing a different biome, e.g. woodland, arctic, desert, or lunar. Furthermore, character development system, object finding and creation, as well as the interface of the game, were modified. The game traditionally focuses on cooperation of many players, what allows them to collectively raise buildings or fight encountered monsters.

A science-fiction first-person perspective shooter by Splash Damage, the studio mainly famed for the expansion to Return to Castle Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory. The plot of Brink takes place in 2045, when the world is destroyed by a massive flood. The action is set on the deck of a floating, futuristic metropolis called the Ark – an asylum for its creators, their descendants, and tens of thousands of refugees. The overpopulation and resources shortage lead to a conflict. The future of the mankind depends on the player. Gameplay consists of fighting multi-layered battles, during which you need to reach numerous objectives and thus push the story forward. The game is designed to blur the boundaries between single and multiplayer. During the game, everyone can join you and assume the role of a soldier previously controlled by AI.

The full-fledged successor to the 2002's TOCA Race Driver - a realistic racing game belonging to a bestselling series developed by Codemasters, a British company. TOCA Race Driver 2 combines the best elements of the previous installments, offering an opportunity to participate in 30 global championships taking place on 56 faithfully recreated tracks. As usual, the game features a wide variety of licensed cars belonging to such renown brands as Jaguar, Aston Martin, Ford, Subaru, Mitsubishi, Audi, Opel or Mercedes. Again, special emphasis was placed both on the driving physics and a unique damage system simulating different mechanical faults caused by collisions. Also, both the visuals and artificial intelligence of computer-controlled drivers were improved. The career is the main game mode here - it was introduced first in the previous installment. However, the game offers a multiplayer mode for up to 12 players as well.
