Puzzle, Fantasy, Card Games, Singleplayer.
Another digital adaptation of the famous Yu-Gi-Oh collectible card game, which can be treated either as an expansion pack for its 2003’s predecessor or a standalone production. In the game, we once again assume the role of Yugi Muto. This time around, the protagonist has to face his nemesis, Kaiba, and fight subsequent duels in the locations known from the TV series, all belonging to the sinister Kaiba Corporation. Yu-Gi-Oh! Power of Chaos: Kaiba the Revenge offers more than 300 new cards that allow the player to build even mightier decks. During a duel we can apply various combinations and tactics — from straightforward monster attacks to setting traps and casting spells that deprive our enemies of initiative. The game retains the visuals style characteristic of the animated TV series. The game boasts an enhanced artificial intelligence, intuitive interface as well as an extensive tutorial for beginners.

Known as TOCA Race Driver 2006 or DTM Race Driver 3, the game offers an extensive career mode, which casts the player in the role of a virtual driver capable of participating in 35 different championships related to various car classes. However, the player can choose to play in the World Tour mode from the very beginning, though it may come with some difficulties. As usual in the series, racing takes place on faithfully recreated tracks and the players receive dozens of licensed cars with different parameters. Apart from subsequent improvements in terms of the graphics, the game offers modified driving physics and an upgraded system of car damage. The player-controlled car can be now damaged by overheating, engine fade or tire burnout.

The third installment of a bestselling series by id Software, and one of the most important titles when it comes to multiplayer FPP shooters. The greatest novelty introduced by Quake III: Arena is the fact that after two previous installments of the series, intended to be played both in multi-, and single player modes, the developers decided to focus exclusively on the multiplayer aspect of the game. Thus, the basic form of gameplay here are skirmishes between two teams, governed by a set of clearly-defined rules. Although Quake III: Arena contains a single player mode, it is based only on skirmishes with AI-controlled bots, and can be treated as training before the actual multiplayer gameplay.

Strategy, RPG Elements, Fantasy, Might & Magic, Singleplayer, Turn-based.
The fourth installment in a best-selling series of strategy games initiated in 1995 by New World Computing. The game is set in Jadame - a fantasy world the players can associate with Might & Magic VIII. Six factions were included here and each of those has their own towns, different units and technologies. Each of them also has a dedicated school of magic and can hire characters belonging to one race only (Strongholds are the only exception). The mechanics went through many modifications and simplifications. The creators got rid of recruitment on a weekly basis, modified the combat system, and erased the necessity to have a character within an army - the characters were turned into units that participate directly in combat sequences. This however, brought many restrictions that made the experience both more difficult and entertaining. The game engine was significantly modified as well, which influenced the size of the maps and brought improvements to the visuals. For the first time in the series, the game is played from an isometric view.

In the game, one can traditionally participate in World Rally Championship races, which, thanks to the FIA license, feature a full set of tracks, teams, drivers, and machines that appeared in the 2012 racing season. In comparison with previous installments of the WRC series, the game introduces much more realistic track surfaces; additionally, the tracks have been narrowed, which results in increased difficulty level. In the career mode, the managing panel has been simplified a little, and the players are scored based not only on their positions at the finish line, but also on their driving style. The list of novelties is complemented with a new graphics engine that allowed the developers to represent the in-game models in better detail and implement improved lighting effects.

An innovative real-time strategy game set in a fantasy universe. Dungeon Keeper was created by Peter Molyneux’s Bullfrog Productions, the studio known for the Populous and Syndicate series. Unlike many dungeon crawlers popular in 1990s, Dungeon Keeper does not put you in the shoes of an adventurous hero, instead letting you play as a demonic lord of dungeons. Your main task is building an expansive net of dungeons and defending them from raiding heroes. To achieve this you have to put up various fortifications, set traps, and fill endless corridors with armies of monsters. At the same time you have to keep an eye on your economy, by looking out for new deposits of gold and diamonds, needed for dungeon expansion as well as recruiting and training of your warriors. Dungeon Keeper offers a single player campaign made up of 20 main missions and 5 extra missions, each one with specific objectives. The game also offers 4-people multiplayer with 15 dedicated maps. Gameplay uses isometric view, which is typical of the RTS genre.

The sixth major installment of the cult RPG series. Might and Magic VI: Mandate of Heaven tells a completely new story that fills the plot hole between the second and third installment of the Heroes of Might and Magic series. The action takes us to the fantastical land of Enroth which was plunged into chaos after king Roland Ironfist had disappeared and the apocalypse worshippers decided to overthrow prince Nicolai to put their leader on the throne. The eponymous Mandate of Heaven can only be reclaimed by the player-controlled party of four heroes — this time, they are all human and represent character classes typical of the universe. The novelty in the series is the possibility of choosing between turn-based and real-time combat mode. In technical terms, the production is a great step forward in history of the series since it features seasons, a day-and-night cycle, and fully three-dimensional graphics that let us rotate the view by 360 degrees as well as look up and down.
