Action, Hack'and'slash, PS Plus Premium, Samurai, Singleplayer, TPP.
One of the installments in action games series developed by Acquire studio. The story takes place in feudal Japan, in the Gishu Amana province, where a fierce battle between the rivaling clans takes place. The player assumes the role of a samurai and chooses his side in the conflict. It is worth mentioning that each path has a different ending. The basic of the gameplay is combat. The enemies can be defeated by using many types of melee weapon. One can also create his own weapon by using parts found during the game. The impressive duels are waged during story missions that are sometimes supplemented with minigames. It is also possible to form a team with a mercenary who will help us in combat in exchange for completing a mission for him or sharing a house. Way of the Samurai 3 offers clean, but not very impressive three-dimensional graphics.

Of course, not without minor corrections, after all, the first Hexen was known for the fact that in addition to the traditional portion of devastation, it also offered accents characteristic of adventure games.

A cRPG/real-time strategy game hybrid by Phenomic. SpellForce: The Order of Dawn is set in a fantasy world, which has been almost completely destroyed by thirteen mages yearning for unlimited power. The survivors of the cataclysm they brought took refugee on many islands scattered around the world, all that was left of a once great continent, reachable only by means of magical portals. However, the peace did not last long, as the forces of evil are at work yet again. You play as a chosen one, possessing supernatural abilities, who is the only one able to neutralize the threat. You control the protagonist directly, exploring many locations and doing various quests. The character of your chosen class earns experience points and reaches higher levels, and also collects increasingly more powerful equipment. SpellForce: The Order of Dawn features a TPP view, but you can also switch to bird's eye view, in which the strategic aspect of the game becomes more apparent. You have to build bases, manage your resources and technology, and train new soldiers. You can choose from six varied races (Men, Dwarves, Elves, Dark Elves, Orcs, and Trolls), each of which has a different development path, economy and combat skills. Apart from the story campaign, the game also features a multiplayer mode.

A fantasy isometric role-playing game with hack-and-slash elements, developed by Westwood Studios, the creators of such titles as Eye of the Beholder, Lands of Lore or Command & Conquer. The game take place on the planet Nox, once the arena of the great war between men and necromancers. Many years thereafter, a surviving necromancer named Hecubah decides to take revenge on men, using a magic wand filled with the souls of their allies. The unaware owner of the wand is an ordinary Earthling Jack Mower, who finds himself transported to the land of Nox via TV screen and takes part in a series of unusual events. The gameplay focuses mostly on exploration and combat, and depending on your chosen character class you can fight hand-to-hand, use ranged magical attacks or summon powerful creatures, who'll do the fighting for you. An interesting element of the gameplay is the option of setting sophisticated traps your enemies can then walk into.

The third installment of the racing series created by the Codemasters company, dedicated to the racing struggles of Touring Cars class vehicles. TOCA Race Driver, otherwise known as Pro Race Driver, V8 Race Driver or DTM Race Driver, makes up the next generation of rally games, which combine a highly realistic driving experience with the cinematic momentum of scenes straight from the racing track. Nevertheless, this time, apart from the British Touring Car Championship license, the production also possesses rights to other international competitions, such as the German DTM or the Australian V8 Supercars. In the game we will find 13 championships to participate in, as well as 38 legitimate racing tracks and 42 authentic cars. The visuals, alongside the applied driving model and destruction system have also been subject to subsequent improvements; the developers have also expanded the possibilities for the modification of our vehicles. The plot, which connects individual races, is a complete novelty to the series; it casts us into the role of a young driver – Ryan McKane – and it is our task to guide him through the consecutive steps in his career.

An unusual spin-off to the legendary Tomb Raider series. The game was developed by Crystal Dynamics - the creators of the franchise's latest installments. The game follows the adventures of a beautiful female archeologist and her friend - a Mayan warrior by the name of Totec. The characters set out for a journey, searching for a mysterious artifact known as Mirror of Smoke, which is to be used against the evil Xolotl, who has gained the power to control other spirits. Contrary to the third-person perspective the Tomb Raider games are usually played in, the spin-off is an isometric game resembling hack'n'slash titles in this aspect. The gameplay focuses on arcade elements and combat sequences, in which the player encounters hordes of ghosts - a special emphasis was placed on cooperation. The two characters have different abilities, therefore, close cooperation is the key to success. However, it is also worth mentioning that the game features elements which could be considered hallmarks of the Tomb Raider series as well, such as exploration of tombs and catacombs.

Another installment in the popular historical strategy games franchise by Paradox Interactive, taking players back in time into the period of the bloodiest conflict in history – World War Two. As the player, your task is to come into power in your country of choice – either one of the superpowers of the time, or a militarily weaker country – and lead it through the global conflict. The plot of Hearts of Iron spans from 1936 to 1948, so you can choose to prepare for the inevitable war first. The creators have taken historical accuracy seriously, thanks to which you witness many events that really took place, although much still depends on your actions. The third instalment of the franchise features a huge world map, divided into around ten thousand provinces. In Hearts of Iron III, you can meticulously manage economic and military factors, although the less experienced players may just limit themselves to issuing general commands. It's the first title in the series to feature 3D graphics and customizable resolution options.

A role-playing game developed by BioWare (the creators of Baldur's Gate), based on the third edition of the Dungeons & Dragons system. The plot takes place in the fictional world of the Forgotten Realms and is centered on a mysterious plague sweeping the eponymous city of Neverwinter. The protagonist's task is to discover who is behind the illness and why did they start it. The story is divided into a prologue and four chapters, every one of them taking place in a different area (and you cannot return to a previously visited location). During the gameplay you do the respective missions, gather gold and items, level up your character, and, of course, fight enemies. The characters act in turns but the combat itself takes place in real time, though featuring active pause, and—like in D&D—the results of most actions are calculated based on dice throws. The game's strong point is the multiplayer mode, which features several types of gameplay, from simple duels to complex epics.
