Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes is a jRPG designed as a spiritual successor to the Suikoden series and created by the veterans of this series. The game offers a turn-based combat system, a hundred characters to recruit, and the mechanics of expanding the town as a fortress for the player's army.

The player gets acquainted with a story of the 7th US Infantry Regiment (the Cottonbalers) that goes through 18 missions based on historical events. The experience focuses mainly on commanding soldiers.
